I dig this thread. It humanizes some posters I see a lot

- Epic cheat meals. Once every couple of weeks in NYC I'll hit up Shake Shack and go crazy on a double cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate shake
- Harry Potter. I recently re-read a few of them in Spanish, and I liked them almost as much as when I was 12
- Rawdogging, if others haven't already mentioned it. Trying to cut down though

Food wise, whenever I'm in El Paso, Texas and on a cheat day, I always go to Kikis restaurant and I splurge and eat almost two plates of a Mexican dish called the "beef machaca" which is essentially beef brisket grilled with tomatoes, onions and green chilies with an over-easy egg, smothered with green and pepper jack cheese sauce with a side of rice and beans with soft fresh tortillas on the side.

Sometimes I listen to Michael Savage. He's a far right fanatic but manages to be unintentionally hilarious. He's pretty damn sharp though. Even when you don't agree he's very entertaining to listen to.

I like climbing stuff. Almost anytime i see a tree, building, statue or anything where i can go up. I promptly stop doing whatever Im doing and go up.

This is/was a dangerous hobby as I climb when i drink too. Back in college climbing ix story buildings mid party on a whim.

I just finished lord of the rings books for the second time, read hobbit and silmarillion, can answer almost any middle earth question. Bought children of hurin recently too. So what!

Trolling theChive. If you look on their selfie pics pictures, a lot of the time you'll see some guy posting on there some variant of the "just fishing for compliments" meme. That's me and it produces some amazing butthurt. You could say I thrive off the tears of camwhores.

Also I'll admit to liking Harry Potter but for me it's a result of some life events. After I saw a team member die in Afghanistan I spent a few weeks in the recovery center(I got some minor injures at the same time) at one of the major airbases. While there I started watching the movies and had to keep going. I liked them because I found that they come from the heart in a way most movies don't, and that they capture the emotions you go through when dealing with death in a way that all the movies you'd expect to (e.g. war movies) typically fail to do.

I loved Shadowrun 2007, the FPS version. I was a beast with Human,Dwarf and Elf.

I read that entire series for the first time last summer. After every book I'd watch the corresponding movie.

God it was such an adventure. Why I didn't read it when I was a kid is beyond me.

I've been to Kiki's and have to say it's the best Mexican food I've ever had.

The Walking Dead.

No, not the television show (although I did get my parents hooked on it and watch it with them) but the goddamn comic book series. It moves at a glacial pace, everyone's fucking face looks the same, and Rick can be so irritating. I can't stop reading it, though.
