“I am very surprised by how strong the response has been,” Brook told the Daily News in her first interview since her video went viral.

She uploaded the video, called “Kiss Me NYC,” to YouTube on March 20. But it didn’t pick up steam, she said, until she shared it on Facebook for April Fools’ Day. It had been viewed more than 135,000 times as of Friday morning.

In the clip, which is set to Sixpence None the Richer's cheesy ’90s single “Kiss Me,” the bold Brook approaches men and women under the guise of asking for directions, then tries to swoop in for a surprise smooch.

In all but one instance, however, the unsuspecting strangers rejected her abrupt advance. Most of them walked off, and one man lightly pushed her away.

But Brook got a Hollywood ending from one guy who was dining alone when she approached him. After a moment’s hesitation, the gentleman passionately returned her move with a full-on makeout.

About that Prince Charming at video’s end, Brook told The News: “We're still talking ”

Brook mentioned having a boyfriend in a recent tweet on her account, but when asked about his thoughts on her filmed flirtations, she wrote: “My tweets are jokes, no comment on the boyfriend.”

Brook, a standup comedienne who grew up in Oceanside, L.I., told The News she conceived of the video idea as a way to fulfill an unusual request made as part of an audition for a film role: Pull any prank of her choice, on camera.

“I wanted to do something positive that involved love,” she wrote in an email exchange with The News. “I was very nervous about it and imagined best case: people would laugh; worst case: I would get punched in the face.”

Over the course of less than an hour at Grand Central Terminal, with a friend recording her efforts, Brook didn’t pull any punches — but she didn’t take any, either.

Some of the strangest reactions people had to her in-your-face comedy weren’t seen on the clip.

“A 'f--- off' didn't make the final cut,” she wrote. “Also, someone started petting me like a dog.”

The reaction to her video hasn’t been a total Internet hug-fest, with some viewers criticizing the clip by saying Brook's behavior amounted to sexual harassment. Brook, when asked about that interpretation, chose to be mum.

As for the film role, she hasn't heard back yet, she said.

Brook, who lives in the East Village, will perform at the New York Comedy Club on Saturday night.

I saw this when this was posted in the forum lounge. It's interesting to note how worthless this excessively white 6 is. She is part of a breed of white American bitches that are somehow almost completely useless even when young and without being fat or frankly ugly.

Even if an unfamiliar girl initially passes the Boner Test, the boner will instinctively deflate if said unfamiliar girl acts that sexually forward toward you, as that kind of sexual forwardness from an unfamiliar female is likely to signal infectious or mental disease--the former of which you wouldn't want to catch for yourself or any potential offspring, and the latter of which you wouldn't want to pass to any potential offspring.

Good job on most of the guys pulling away and giving her a weird look.
I know for myself, any girl that's willing to give the goods (kissing or more physical things) with very little or no effort on my part raises all kinds of red flags and i automatically think I'm being setup.

I'm surprised no one has tied this to that phony "street harassment" video that went viral last year "10 Hours of Walking in NYC as a Woman."

In that video, the world (i.e. the one with men in it) was such a hostile, sexually aggressive, in your-face-place, that a woman couldn't even walk around (gasp!) without being bothered every three seconds. The horror! Just imagine (use Brian Williams' pompous newscaster's voice here) the terror of being a woman. The terror.

And yet now we find that when a reasonably-attractive woman approaches men in New York City and wants a kiss...she can't get one.

What to make of this? Could "reality" be determined by selective editing? Looks that way.

All that said, all this video does is prove that the main reason women aren't funny is that they mistake attention-whoring for comedy. Male comedy: let's look at the world and laugh at it. Female comedy: my vagina!

Because when women go direct, it's not done like this.

At least from my own experience, the only time a chick goes direct is when she's drunk, and she'll tell you before she makes a move, "I really want to make out with you."

But some girl leaning in like that in the middle of a conversation? In any healthy guy, that would trigger his "crazy bitch" sensor and he'll naturally pull away, even if she's attractive. Loco, I may be quite critical, to me if I go to an average nightclub, the hottest girls will be 7s.

There's no doubt the talent in Miami is pretty strong, but you still have to go to the "nameworthy" places to see 8s and up, even here.
