"You won't go on vacation because of your period, you change your wedding date, it goes everywhere with you and you are in so much pain. Women are hospitalised."

TL;DR I'm on my period and I'm angry about my period - because feminism.

Hindu women are kept away from temples, the kitchen, and all of their other DUTIES because the culture recognizes that the period is a hard time for a woman. when she is in a weakened state. Going to the temple and conducting religious acts is considered a duty, and thus "work". Working in the kitchen is "work". The Hindu patriarchy has created a system for the benefit of women. Yeah, but I consider Sikhism to be a part of Hinduism really. Hinduism isn't actually a religion at all. Hindus are a set of people who follow the principles of "Sanatan Dharma" and the Vedas. I consider Sikhism, Jainism, even Buddhism to just be branches of Hinduism.
