The man then asked the victim "what he thought about the Mike Brown situation." The victim responded that he hadn't thought much about it, according to the police report.

If there was video of a couple white guys asking a black man about the OJ verdict and then proceeding to beat his ass unprovoked as a train full of white people looked on not giving a shit, it would be a 96 point font headline on CNN, college students would be organizing retarded protests, and Obama would cancel whatever the fuck else he was doing to address the nation in prime time. Predictably, there's not a peep about this incident in mainstream national media.

As if that's not aggravating enough, it's the media who causes this type of shit in the first place. They crucified Zimmerman and Wilson without a single shred of credible evidence to counter either of their self-defense claims (in the Zimmerman case they literally made shit up to paint the guy as a racist). Everywhere you turn, some MSM outlet is doing everything it can to send the message that white people are the bane of the black community's existence. Do incidents like these really come as a surprise when black Americans are constantly bombarded with the message that all of their problems are white people's fault? African-raised black people never have this type of attitude, because they don't grow up immersed in a 24/7 propaganda machine.

The mainstream media needs to own up to its constant barrage of selective, biased, one-sided, misleading, and sometimes flat-out untrue reporting on race issues. There are violent acts directly attributable to that shit. There is blood on their hands. I'm as big a proponent of free speech as they come, but some of these "reporters" should be thrown in prison for slander and inciting violence.

The thing is if the attacker doesn't have an ADULT violent offense, he won't even do probably a few months.

If he had JUVIE violent raps, I don't thin they can consider them so this leads to this class of young assholes who traumatize a NUMBER of people before they graduate to 5-10 year sentences.

No matter where you are, if someone comes up to you and asks to use your cellphone, either punch them out or get the fuck outta there asap because nothing good follows that question.

Assholes on all sides of the color spectrum always go for the weak. If you look like you can do some damage or you have some way of getting yours back, you will be avoided.

All of this white - knighting of thugs in the media is pure horseshit. As an African American, me as well as several members of my family have been attacked and almost even killed by these types and have faced more hatred from them than any "racist" white policeman, and I have even been pulled over several times for various traffic incidents. Sadly, like a girl defending her abusive boyfriend, some of us will still protest and riot in the streets when these same people get arrested or beaten by police. If anything, I see it as racism on the media's part. Why do 'Black Lives Matter' when Michael Brown, a known thief and criminal, gets killed for resisting police, as if he were Malcolm X or MLK getting stoned in the streets fighting for equal justice?

He does not represent me or my kind. Give me a house near a police precinct any day over one in Ferguson. Poor economic conditions are no excuse to attacking or harming others.

I have a theory as to why all this racial crap in the past couple years is all Obama's fault. Now bear with me, it isn't because he's a secret muslim zionist illegal mexican or anything.

My suspicion is that the black underclass in this country thought Obama was going to pull a Mugabe and magically take all the wealth from the rich white people and give it to them. The Democrats had promised the moon to poor blacks in every prior presidential campaign, but since those presidential candidates were white, the blacks logically didn't believe their bullshit. In the case of Obama however, these same people did get their hopes up, as evidenced by the strong voter turnout. Except now reality has reared it's ugly head, and there is no way Obama could pull every single black person out of poverty even if he cared to, and those people who got their hopes up that the government would solve all their problems are disappointed. Of course the government doesn't want to be blamed for this, so you get Obama going out of his way to redirect that anger towards the white bogeyman with speeches about how his hypothetical son could have been Trayvon Martin, or intimating that the actions of the Ferguson rioters are somehow a justified response to police racism instead of trying to calm people down by telling them to let the justice system do it's job.

The sad reality of it all is that there really isn't anything you can do to "fix" the blacks in the lower classes. They've been seduced by liberal rhetoric that externalizes all of the blame for their problems, and every black guy that points out that blacks need to fix their own problems (like Bill Cosby) gets shouted down for being an oreo. This isn't a race thing, it's a retard thing: you'd get similar blowback trying to convince a neo-nazi in Idaho that the swastika tattooed on his forehead is what's denying him employment opportunities rather than zionists in the government.

Obama has thrown out a few token gestures to the black community such as the Trayvon Martin comment. He does this for the same reason either Clinton throws out the equal pay for equal work canard. It's to throw a bone to their constituents to keep them calm and let them think the president feels their pain. It really doesn't mean anything. I'm convinced that Obama really would rather stay away from hot button race issues. But being the first black president means inevitably being dragged into the conflict one way or another. He's afraid of alienated the mainstream by appearing to identify too closely with black interests. Yet he doesn't want to seem like he's abandoned the black community. He has a really fine line to walk.

There was a more civilized time in our country's history when men recognized that securing their family's and their own safety was their responsibility. Indeed, I imagine that the exacerbation of racial tension would have occurred regardless of Obama's action or inaction. But the wrong way to deal with it is to embrace the screwy racism theories being espoused by the current academic left.

Maybe the recent trend, or the reporting of the trend, they have got worse, but no question they've got better in my time (from the 60s on) growing up in a NE city. Race relations aren't as bad as they were back then, but I do think they are at their worst since the early 90's with the Rodney King beating and the OJ trial. Even though I was only in 2nd grade during the latter, I still remember vividly how all the white kids thought OJ was guilty and all the black kids thought he was innocent, not that we even really knew or could comprehend the details.

I sort of straddled the middle because I always had friends of a wide variety of backgrounds (I was sort of an SJW dream kid back then) and didn't think much either way at first, though my mom was definitely pissed off that he was found not guilty and began to tell me a few things so I began to get it.

It's a shame because the later 90's and 2000's were pretty good in this area. Then the SJW's really seemed to come out of the woodwork around 2010 and here we are.

If you're black you're told you're victim constantly. This is going to breed feelings of despair and resentment.

If you're white (especially a white man) you are told you're the source of everyone's problems and you are simply not allowed to have a politically incorrect opinion or the leftist cultural inquisition will come after you. Your only natural inclination is to react negatively.

Now we have idiotic SJW's of the black persuasion organizing "protests" at "white brunches" and basically ruining the days of people that had nothing to do with anything. Meanwhile black guys that want no part of this idiocy get tainted as a result.

Basically SJW's polarize everything and everyone, dragging unwilling parties along with the ride, forming camps of people against the latter's will. Of course with all this agitation you're going to start seeing people on the other side as your opponents.

Hopefully the academia industrial complex comes crashing down, because that is going to be the only way to end this. Academia must be purged of these lunatics because that's where it's all coming from. Media ultimately follows stuff that makes money.

Things are far better than they have ever been between the races it just feels like they are worse because everyone has a camera with them 24/7. For example, when I was growing up by far the best schools for black people were Howard, Morehouse, Tuskegee, Spelman and Hampton. Nowadays those schools scrape the bottom of the barrel for black schools because todays black college students (excluding SJWs) feel at home at a predominantly white university. When I was in high school back in the late eighties early nineties I demanded that my parents put me in public school because I knew I would never lose my virginity at a private school where I was the only black kid. Nowadays my nephew has never had sex with a black girl and only had sex with white and asian girls. When I was growing up except for Ray Barbie there were no black pro skaters, now Lil Wayne has his own skateboard line! Can you imagine Ice T or Eazy E pushing Vision streetwear back in 1989?

Everything is better, we just get to see more of what is bad, because nobody posts videos on worldstarhiphop of people getting along walking by each other peacefully. For what it is worth I believe people act up specifically because a camera is present as well. And for the record I would have stepped in and helped that poor guy on the train, all it would take is for one adult black male to step in and diffuse that situation. I have done it before when I saw some trouble makers trying to get it started on some unsuspecting people, all I did was say "leave them alone, you don't know them, and you would not want someone to do what you are about to do to you". No violence, just an adult providing common sense as opposed to a young man instigating.
