I don't understand why black women are singled out.

I've been with a few black women, and I find them to be no different than white women. Or in other words AMERICAN women.

Most white women are fat and obnoxious. Even amongst the actual physically attractive ones, they tend to buy into the feminist "I can act however I want and anyone who criticizes me is a misogynist" mentality.

I've had women make snide comments to me on more than a few occasions:

"Oh, you're into ethnic women" and "You like younger, submissive women".

Translation: I like women who are attractive, and they don't have to be white, and I also like women who aren't obnoxious cunts.

Point being, again it's not just black women, it's American women. And I'd say white women are the bigger problem. My evidence? The fact that probably the most visible woman in pop culture is Lena Dunham. A fat, obnoxious nothing who brings nothing to the table that any sane man would want.

As I've said, we've gone to pop culture icons from Marilyn Monroe to Farah Fawcett to Jennifer Aniston to Lena Dunham. THAT is the problem, not black women.

Good post CCR but white women didn't start this. Not Dunham at least. Queen latifah and Oprah predate her at least a cool 15 years. Maybe twenty. Fat obnoxious and loud goes back further than that. We go back and forth on this subject, with no resolution. And maybe that's the way it's supposed to be. Maybe the "going back and forth" is the resolution: that is, our way of dealing with an insoluble problem.

In recent years, I've started to think more along the lines of what CCR said (above) in his post. That is, the problem is American women (both black and white) rather than just black women.

But even here, I may be getting a skewed perspective since I'm not black. Black women seem to be more willing to give white guys the benefit of the doubt. And they do seem to give black guys more of a hard time than us non-black guys. I'm not sure why that is. On the other hand, the scales of Fortune are somewhat balanced out by the fact that white girls probably give more deference to black guys.

Every girl seems to be more attracted to her ethnic opposite.

All I do know is this: I've dated both American black and American white women in the US and they are both inferior to foreign black and foreign white women. I'm pretty sure of that as a general rule.

So it's our culture here that is messing them up, somehow.

And after a while I just don't bloody know anymore. I'm now starting to think that it's the same story all over the world. All around the world, the same old song.

That's why you've got to do what you like.

The only real rule that enables me to keep my sanity is to practice these basic principles:

1. Don't think too much about all this stuff. You'll go crazy. The deeper you probe, the more disturbing it gets.

2. They're all nuts, more or less.

3. They only person that cares about you, is YOU.

4. Do what you like. Date who you like. If you like one type of girl, go for them. If you like another type of girl, go for that type.

5. Some types of girls are never going to like you no matter what you do. Accept the fact that some girls are never going to dig you. Your job is to find the ones who do dig you. Everything else is just conversation.

6. You're on your own. It's scary and empowering at the same time. But the sooner you realize that, the better.

I agree, but in my humble opinion, it's morphed into one and the same.

A lot of our culture has become that way. Hip hop is now mainstream, black culture is now largely integrated with white culture.

I just think in our society we mock black women who act obnoxious, and rightly so. Not because they're black, obviously, but because of the way they act. But when a white women is fat and obnoxious, she's given a TV show called "Girls" and is considered the voice of her generation.

I realize the problem is that I'm preaching to the choir here on RVF. The Sassy Black Woman has been a stereotype that I think is unfair in that it has been misapplied. It needs to be applied to ALL American women who act this way, which unfortunately is so many of them.

There are some interesting perspectives amongst the black guys on this forum that I believe to be basically true: if something is a problem amongst whites, it is an epidemic amongst blacks.

I'm not entirely sure. I've had numerous girls tell me they don't like black guys hitting on them. Could just be where I live, but I think black guys seem to have to work that much harder in the game, based on some of what girls have told me and what guys here have said. This is why black guys here have said to avoid online dating, whereas if you're good looking white guy online you will clean up.

Yes. I meet a lot of foreign girls because of where I live and they are usually superior. Whereas talking to an American girl often feels like you're talking to another man, talking to a foreign girl is not only typically more interesting but you can also feel that feminine energy. I found this to be true both among (Continental) European/Russian women and Latinas. One girl I met in October from Russia I had a two hour conversation with on a park bench without knowing that time went by. Nothing like that ever happens with American girls. Unfortunately she's not here now but I'm still in touch with her, and whereas keeping in touch with an American girl often feels like a fight until you see her regularly, keeping in touch with her is very easy.

There is just something weird about Anglo-American culture that causes this, and truth be told, it was always there. Technology is just amplifying its worst excesses.

Edit: On another note, I find East Asian girls (that are actually from there) a bit weird and off putting as well, but in a different way.

Black women did not get this from hiphop. Hip Hop's culture movement was hijacked by gangster rap and later dope boy rap and became a ratchet subculture, that was always open to all other groups like Latinos and eventually white people like Eminem. Nas said Hiphop was dead in 2004, but even he and others say it died well before that. Some even cite that the emergence of West Coast Gangsta rap killed hiphop in the mid 90s. Oprah and her brand of feminism predates hiphop. White feminists have been making additions and subtractions to their cabal for decades.

Let's have a quick history lesson:

1) Black men were in cohorts with white feminists before the civil war and after the war was over. They effectively turned on us immediately when white men gave us the right to vote after the War and during The Reconstruction, but almost universally rejected their suffrage movement and would not let them vote. The same white women that marched on behalf of black men, started calling us niggers and violently lashed out at us. We were no longer a victim (in their eyes) who could help them achieve their goals as a pet footstool they could flog white men with, to get what they want. When white men took away their big stick, they were up shits creek for a while until 1920 when they got their way because white men gave finally caved into their demands, even though black men had lost their voting rights by then, and we would not get it fully back until 1965.

2) Lets fast forward to the 30's - 60's. White feminists dominate the feminism cause. They cannot get much buy in from black women during these times. Black families, while not perfect, are stable enough and with racism so awful, there is no need for black women to ever leave the side of a black man. Doing so was not only foolish, but very unsafe.

3) In the 70's, some black women start joining white women for a litany of reasons. Let me try to quickly list as many as I can: White feminist women saw an opportunity to enlist and take up the racism issue again on our behalf, Education opportunities, issues with black men in the late 70s, economic mobility, etc. Birth control and other things play factors as well, but black feminists are still pretty tiny numbers wise, because it is still a bit worse to be black than a mere woman.

4. In the 80s they really start to come out and convert. Arbitrage, SMV, black men in prison or dead over drugs, black community and families torn up, etc. Women like Oprah enter the scene and are getting groomed by their white counterparts in far leftist ideology. They will not openly say it yet, but they are starting the rejection of black men as unreliable, attempting to do everything themselves and replace them as leaders in the black community whenever possible. In the 90's they will start trying to do this in some of the churches, getting into positions of leadership (something they are not supposed to do).

Hiphop had nothing to do with black feminism. Ratchet behavior started by blacks in some of that same timeframe had more to do with the destruction of the family and drugs flooding the streets. With the men getting fucked up left and right, it left a void for the women to step in an attempt to "take care of business". Eventually white and other feminists (1990+) would see the splintering and recruited the rest to join their cabal. If anything true social conservatism/traditionalism values would have saved the black community, but women are not capable of strategizing actions like this.

Women left to their own devices will serve their own agenda. They do not and will never differ from other ethnic groups of women in that regard. They did not have enough positive family based culture, like Mexicans for example, to resist going fully dysfunctional. Notice how in Mexico, with recent drug wars getting out of control, the women are not affected from a cultural standpoint, but one decade in America nearly ruined the entire black community and it's women from a cultural standpoint.

Mao, the communists, and their cultural revolution rejected anything traditional about China. They burned all old books and knowledge. They sent women to work in massive numbers. Funny if you fast forward to recent times, Chinese went right back into doing things they way they have always done for thousands of years culturally. Aside from the tier 1 cities, women working is kinda sporadic, like in the old times. Many stay home with the grand parents and raise the kids. Grandparents do not necessarily work the fields or at all and they raise the kids like the old style. Mao's attempt to force everyone to work super hard, starving millions in the process, failed to stick forever because of a long culture. Now China has a funky kind of hybrid Autocracy-Capitalist system.

The Hip Hop movement was at best 10 years long. Not just that but HipHop was about community itself and also an artform, not some kind of deeply intellectual and broad social movement. That would be giving hiphop too much credit. Destruction of the black family started long, long before that. By the time you get to the hiphop years racism, apartheid, lack of economic mobility, have beaten blacks down to the point that when drugs flood the black community, it breaks the back of the family in the black community.

We all know that family is the backbone of any civilization. By this point females are alone in droves. So again, without male leadership what will women do? The same things they have always done since the Roman and Byzantine empires. They get into degenerate stuff, sell and mutilate their bodies for male attention, and demand more freedoms (political, economic, and social). Whites could resist alot of the dysfunction of the 70-90s because they still had many strong families in various areas of the country (like bible belt). Blacks had little to no resistance to that stuff and had to re-learn the hard way, even today.

What difference does it matter that white girls are getting play for "features" black women have? Features we got ridiculed for having? Getting credit for something that is inherently hamster junk (big asses)?

But if you are talking about the lyrics based conscious hip hip that he, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, etc. are know for, then he's right. I grew up in Baltimore and went to school near D.C where there are several urban stations in both cities and have not heard real hip hop on the radio since the mid 1990s.

Last time I checked, it did not seem like he likes black women at all. Tariq and others accuse him of self hate and only loving/dating white women. Who knows. Tommy Sotomayor apparently has been in a huge war with Corey Holcomb and this Zo Williams guy. I still listening to these youtube vids to get caught up on this beef but so far:

1) Zo revealed that Tommy was house-sitting some house in hollywood and his Russian girlfriend was cheating on him with another black dude. Tommy wanted to kill himself?

2) Corey Holcomb and Zo are alleging that Tommy tried to steal Jeff/Geoff from them and put him on his own show? They accuse him of hating black women as well and roast him badly.

3) Tommy is obviously hurt and upset. He's got a 4 or 5 part rant reply video. Tariq has videos laughing it up and further dissing Tommy.

4) Tommy has a video where he actually called this Zo guy on the phone live, to confront the allegations, and this Zo person is backpedalling like a bitch and being passive aggressive about telling another dude's personal business like that.

Jariel. If any of this stuff about Tommy is true, that would not be much of a fight at all brother. I could have roasted Tommy many times over, for some of the things he says, before I started posting here on RVF, but usually I avoided doing that. It's fruitless, makes the Manosphere look bad and fragmented, etc. Many black dudes like him. Here and on other sites. They don't agree with him 100% either, maybe 20% agree, so I get that. Whatever. For a group of black people that are so pro-black and full of solidarity, they sure know how to show other non-black people what being black is all about. These people are about as "pro-black" as a Mississipi Klansman.

Technically, Nas was taking shots at Jeezy and all the other cocaine rappers at the time. Luda is hiphop for the most part. He has amazing wordplay. He uses clever metaphors and other English language devices. Luda's subjects span across multiple subjects and not cocaine.

His diss song on Drake that Jariel posted the other day was interesting. I watched the interview and thought there is no way Luda can sound like old Ludacris in this day and age. I found the song on youtube and was proven wrong.... He killed that but still...the target was Drake and <other rappers that pissed him off> that he refused to name on that interview. That part was weak. I was hoping he would become rap's grumpy old man laying niggas out with old school Ether songs for the fuck of it.

Too bad... He was never much of a battle rapper anyway. Just a metaphor beast like Nas, Magno, Ras Kass, Eminem, JR Writer, Cassidy, Big L, Cannabis, etc. etc. The main thing that separates him from many others is that he is funny as fuck. He probably could have been a stage comedian in alot of ways.

Same here. I'm not thuggish, I don't have swagger, I don't speak in slang and I have nerdy interests so a lot of the more ratchet black women really don't like me. Even the more educated, higher class black women want the black men they date to have an edge to them, but I don't and really don't care to. So based on that alone the average black woman has no interest in me.

After watching that video a lot of the men were tame in their comments. I guess it is okay to be PC but a lot of black women seem genuinely confused why a lot of black men don't want to be bother with them. Here's a brief list:

1. There is a higher percentage of ratchet black women than in other races/ethnic groups.

2. Most black women are overweight or obese.

3. A lot of black women have bastard kids by another man.

4. Most black women aren't submissive and follow a man's lead but are independent and challenge black men's authority.

5. Black women are more interested in a criminal who's been in and out of jail than a doctor, accountant or lawyer.

6. Black women have an angry attitude toward black men and tend not to respect them.

7. Black women are lacking in domestic skills like cooking and cleaning.

If the guys in the video told them some of the above the women obviously would've been defensive but it would of helped them if they took the advice seriously. Instead, they'll just delude themselves into thinking that the reason they are single is because black men can't handle a strong black women.

I'd like to provide a different view on this than what's been espoused so far. How sure are we that black men are rejecting black women? Or, is this really what is happening? In the macro sense, black men are putting up with less of black women's nonsense. However, this exemplifies itself as high quality black men not getting with low quality black women.

For the average black male (obviously the black men around here are not included in that group), I'm sure they would love to wife up an American black girl, warts and all. These guys are straight herbs and cling on desperately to blue pill ideas, finding comfort in the fact that they "aren't gangsters" and waving around their degrees and their use of proper grammar like that should be enough to let them have their pickings of high quality black women.

I have picked at this trend of the average black male thinking that the way to pick up women is to separate themselves from black people as much as they can. They will make the conscious effort to do so, and if they get called on it, they'll get indignant and say things along the lines of "Oh, just because I don't act like a thug, I'm acting white?". What they don't realize is that they are throwing the baby out with the bathwater, and abandoning a lot of the qualities that women in general find attractive in black men.

In a strange way, they have a bit of a god complex, with the mindset being "man, I'm so much better than these other negros, I played the white script, these women should be crawling at my feet!". They are generally disappointed and angry to find that this is not the case. We can criticize black women all we want, but we have to look at what their options are. Jariel. If any of this stuff about Tommy is true, that would not be much of a fight at all brother. I could have roasted Tommy many times over, for some of the things he says, before I started posting here on RVF, but usually I avoided doing that. Here's my take.

I was a fan of all of these guys at one point or another. I've seen Corey Holcomb perform live. I have gone to a Tariq Nasheed lecture, and I own a copy of The Elite Way. I have known about Geoff Brown since the Comicview days, and I've listened to Zo & Corey since the Foxxhole.

I say all this to say that all of these dudes are acting like bitches, imo.....

It's sad to see this because these are all brilliant minds who have produced amazing redpill content over the years. However, the bitch tendencies have come out in all of this internet catfighting. I noticed the petty catfighting inclination in Tariq a long time ago, but didn't really let it affect my listenership at first, because his content was GOAT level back then. However, he has jumped the shark in so many ways at this point, that I haven't listened to any new stuff of his in about a year or more. Tommy has had some amazing content over the past couple of years, but the bitch shit he does sometimes damn-near negates it. Him ambushing Zo over the phone was the last straw for me. That was a huge sucker move.

I kinda saw all of this coming over the past few years when Tariq and Tommy's views began to grow in radically different directions. At first it looked like they'd be mature about it, and they were deflecting any talk which pit them against one another. However, I knew something would happen, because they both have a drama queen streak. All it took was for Tommy to critique Hidden Colors 3, and all hell broke loose.

To wrap this up, my main point is that this is a bad look. All these brothers have brilliant minds filled with redpill knowledge. Why can't we disagree with each other on certain things, and still be civil. If anything, that disagreement can create an individual lane for everybody involved to make money. You could also do like the "Conscious Community" has done for the past two years and stage debates a la Brother Polight and SaRa Suten Seti. Those debates get extremely heated, but everyone is cool with each other when the dust settles. It's a terrible thing to have some of our great minds out here gossiping about each other like females.

This post reads like a black woman or a racist white guy wrote it. I honestly cannot decide which. Let's break this down shall we.

Educated black women, much like the one ranting in that video, far outnumber black men with college educations. So when you interview and ask black women with degrees, what is the minimum requirement they have for a man, what do you suppose the first answer is? It's not height nor gangster swag either. They will say education. So when you attempt to denigrate black men that speak proper English and obtain education, as lesser versions of white men, you are obviously clueless as to the what black women even want in the first place. I agree with you that slick white guys can get lots of black women, but they hardly want any level of them, aside from A/B listed Hollywood actresses or models. Women at that level are difficult to obtain for any man anywhere, so they do not count.

68.3 percent of all bachelor degrees go to black women out of all black people. So lets use some reason and logic on this. Being a black male that is not in jail, dead, and college educated automatically makes puts you in a rare ~32% group of higher quality men. If you even break that down further into black men with well paying jobs lets say for the sake of argument 50-75K, that group is 12% of the country of all genders and race. That black man would be in an even higher bracket of higher value. People making over 100K are 5-6%. Any black men making scratch like that are an even tinier percentage. Those brothers have the pick of the litter right? No. You are missing the problem entirely. Black women's attitudes are what chases away all these black men of value. Why? because as much hard work we put into getting where we are, we know deep down inside, that putting up with shitty attitudes is completely and utterly unnecessary.

Some will drift about and waffle on it and some will reject like I did. They may not want us upon first sight, but when they realize what you drive or where you stay, they shape up with the quickness. By that point the dick is soft. That attitude soured the entire process. All men want a pleasant woman to deal with, regardless of color. Let me address this "white script" thing. You think just because we are doing better we are copying white people? As if white people are the only people in America capable of having success? How conceited you are. The ability to speaking correct English does not make us less black than others that refuse or cannot. English proficiency is a good thing that all people in this country should aspire to obtain. It does not make you white, it makes you a fucking American. All Americans want immigrants to become American, speak English, participate in our culture, learn our values, etc. You cannot demand that of immigrants if you cannot do it your own self. All that said, even though black men in college outnumber black men incarcerated since 2000, above average brothers (32% guys) should have the market cornered on those 68% women. Looks, height, yadda yadda, are still factors, and I get that. Single black women outnumber qualified black men in numbers that are comparable to the Ukraine or FSU. There is no good excuse for why they cannot attract more of us. That shit is 100% on them. Not all of them came from broken homes, but had they all been in a better and intact family, we might not be having this conversation. The social decline hit them harder and they even had a head start.

You also forget many of us are still Christian. Who defeated Prop 8 in California? Black people did. Not only do we not agree with their attitudes, we cannot agree with them politically.
