The volume of a normal sperm donation is 2-5 mL per ejaculation. One would need 200 to 500 ejaculations to get just one liter. Some 800 to 2,000 ejaculations to get one gallon!! It is hard to inseminate a whole country with so little sperm.

This has already happened to me, I have a daughter, but no contact, no idea of her name, never even seen a picture of her. That experience has desensitized me to this. I do still genuinely feel bad she'll probably be raised into a fat bitch, especially as she has my genes so I'm sure she would have turned out a beautiful woman with my influence but what can I do?

You guys are forgetting the market forces.

Yes, most women in this scenario would probably jump at the chance to get a celebrity donor, but that sperm would not come cheap. Access to it would be monetized, and donors would be compensated handsomely for the privilege. The supply of the sperm would also never reach such a level as to allow more than a very small percentage of the population access to it. Well-off folks will pay exorbitant sums of money for access to this celebrity sperm, and you can bet that the suppliers would capitalize on that.

In short, even in a world with celebrity sperm banks, 99.9% of women will have to do things the old fashioned way (or just accept less "famous" sperm from non-celebrity donors). The market will price all but a select few out of the picture.
