Greece will never get kicked out of Europe, it invented Europe along with Phoenicia, there would be no Europe if it weren't for those two. What I hope is that Greece will become a strong standalone country. Who needs the Euro currency that brings debt everywhere it goes?

Greece has the potential to become a cheaper country to live in if they revert to the Drachma, that's it.

Europe will do fine without Greece. Roman Empire or modern day EU is willing to let go Greece because it wants to:

I don't buy that the Germans are going to kick Greece out of the euro, regardless of all the tough talk coming out of Berlin and Brussels these days.

However, if by some mistake or other happenstance Greece gets kicked out of the euro, then the Greek economy will implode spectacularly. Nuclear meltdown spectacularly.

That said, both sides in this debate (the Germans and the Greeks) are playing with fire and there is always the chance both could end up getting burned badly if Greece hastily exists the eurozone. The eurozone is especially weak right now, and a shock of Greece exiting could put pressure on other weak members and cause it to unravel.

Greece won't be kicked out of anything. The Syriza crowd will betray the Greek people just like any other politicians will do. Of course an independent Greek drachma - best created interest free by a truly independent Greek central bank -could reinvigorate the country tremendously making it more Norway than Thailand.

But there is no "danger" for that - politicians proposing that would not survive the election process - literally. Greece WILL NOT leave the EU. The intention of the EU is to probably restructure debt into a EU wide finance system where regional debts are joint debts. There are other options in addition to that.

Maybe more independent currencies will grow there aiding the local economy. I have family living in Greece for decades. They complain about the shit happening, but they get by. They have some land, cut down expenses, but still enjoy life.

Greece will never be the Thailand of Europe for various reasons, many already mentioned by straton and Atticus. I have homes in 3 countries; Canada, Greece and Thailand and I can say with 100% certainty that no matter what happens in Greece (even if the crisis worsens), Greek girls will never be easy. If anything el mechanico was closer to the mark when answering the question, "what are Greek girls like?" with "they are a pain in the ass".

Thinking about this theoretically, the situations in Ukraine and Greece should make gaming in these countries much easier.

In precarious situations, it makes sense that women would feel worried about their safety and their future. Instead of spending their time and energy messing around and attention whoring, you would think that they would be looking to lock down a decent guy who loves her and would be willing to protect her.

It would chance the dynamic completely. It would give us more leverage indeed. I see Greece becoming like Romania, Hungary, Czech republic. It is inevitable if their economy plummets.

Greece didn't become a Romania, Hungary or Czech republic because it was in the EU and they artificially lived a life by western standard living. If they get out of the EU. I see Greece becoming like Romania. It won't happen at once but social/economic conditioning will even make it happen.

Greece will be kicked out of the EU eventually. Read the article I posted. Greece can't simply bare the austerity the EU imposes even if another debt haircut happens. The problem is that west Europe doesn't want to give Greece another debt haircut because they know Greece will ask another debt haircut in the future. Germany already planned for a Grexit. If Greece decides to leave. It will completely be up to Greeks and quite frankly I don't see them baring these austerity measures. Greece will eventually have to go back to the Drachma so they can lower their currency.
