Having no friends is a blessing after having too many friends. The more you go down this road the more you realize that people are out for themselves and you have to be out for yourself as well. Most people will bring no value to your life and will latch on to you for various reasons like money, emotional support, access to various things. But at the same time they bring nothing to the table.

I've been living by myself for more than ten years now. I have friends sure but I focus mostly on work and bettering myself because it will take me to greater places than sitting around getting drunk with old friends who have plateaued socially and career-wise. My friends are the people that I can learn from and that I can teach what I know. Everyone else is an acquaintance.

Focus & spend time on developing yourself in various ways. Other people want to be drawn to interesting people. Be one of them if the concept of having many 'friends' matters to you. Personally, i would not encourage feeding on validation from this dubious concept of other talking heads.

And I am aware that you can only count on yourself, and perhaps family. But still, I mean having someone you can call to see a movie or something. Someone you can be seen with, have pictures taken of. so women will consider you.

Basically, are you around people at all in your daily life?

I study. I have no real hobbies besides imageboards and reading books. I live in a large city. Most days I'm at home, sometimes I am at college.

To hell with social proof. Stash some cash and flee your hometown. Go backpacking and move from hostel to hostel. You will meet and make instant friends from around the world and vastly improve your social skills for the future. Do it before its too late and you lose your soul.

So try to spend more time around people and less time online/reading books. Friends will come almost automatically. But you have to be proactive and try to connect with people.
Hang out after class hours at your college, see if they have any groups you'd like. They probably even have a book circle if that's what you're in to.

Also you shouldn't look at friends as a means to get girls. Having people you like around you will increase your mood and you will be a happier person. In my opinion having friends is way more important than hooking up with girls for overall health and contentment.

The key to having good friends is to meet people and call them when you don't need anything. This is a rare quality for people to have nowadays. If I didn't have any friends, I would probably get on meetup.com and join some of those groups.

Serious. Very serious. Don't make excuses. My best friend back in the states is originally from Guatamala. He's short and tubby but he can still pull relatively attractive girls believe it or not. It's about who you are as a man. Make yourself better.

You need a little self respect. You have the sound of a man that has accepted the reality that has been spoon fed to you your entire life.

You make your life what it is through the choices that you make. If you want your life to change or improve learn to make better choices.

This can be a blessing in disguise as you could have the time to harness your GAME, which matters more than social proof. You could create social proof on the spot by introducing yourself to some people in the vicinity, chat a bit, and move on to your target.

Depending on who you ride with, it could be costly. I'm not saying friends are a waste of time, but I'm saying you're better off working on your person, because as it stands, self-deprecating is not what garners confidence.

I'll tell you what garners confidence:

1. GYM
2. STUDYING GAME
3. Clothing
4. Hobbies

After you integrate these 4 essential pieces to a healthy life into your quotidian, there is no doubt you will have game. Also try a marker/spray to hide those balding areas.
