Well, just came back from Abu Dhabi 2 months ago and now kind of rushed things for Cebu! Going to be meeting my girlfriend there to stay for 2 weeks. Anybody that has been to Cebu, can you recommend if it's better to stay in hotel, condo or apartment? I'm honestly trying to live as cheap as possible. Love can make a man do crazy things Thanks

If you're only going to be here for two weeks and are short money, the Tune is cheap but no cooking or refrigerator.

Ask for the ninth floor away from the elevators, less noise.

It's OK to stay there day to day while looking for something better if you don't like it.

If you can afford about 50-55 USD instead of 30, the Marco Polo is great, reserve on Orbitz or the like to get better prices.

The girlfriend you're visiting, have you met her already?

Thank you for your reply. The round trip ticket I just booked 2 days ago was only $750 dollars, so I really couldn't pass it up. Yes I visited her in Abu Dhabi for a week where it was crazy expensive. I've been to Manila before last year this time, stayed for 12 days but lived pretty large. This time I'm honestly just trying to do it very cheaply, really being with her is all that matters. I will ask her about the Tune.

Philippines is always my first choice, i just came to Abu Dhabi to see her again. You can see some pictures here.

I stayed at the Mandarin Plaza Hotel.

It had a big breakfast and very close to the mall. About a 5 min walk if I remember right, you do have to jaywalk and be careful of traffic. It is also near a jeepney station so a ton of jeepneys start and end there.

I wouldn't go to Cebu for two weeks with a girlfriend. In two weeks there you can get a small harem on rotation even with mediocre game.

Guys look at his YouTube link. lucas is not cut out for this forum, to put it mildy. lucas do you know where you are? We do not marry Philippinas and then go with them to Cebu. We go to Cebu and bang a new girl (or two) every single day.

If you check my other video in Manila, i've done all that before. But there is no need to do that when you have the most amazing girl in the world. And if you go to Cebu only for that reason, I feel sorry for you. I'm actually interested in Philippine culture, and have been studying Tagalog for 3 years.

I don't need you to tell me where I should go and what I should do. If you don't have any helpful advise, you really have no point in commenting.

I stayed at the Richmond Hotel, decent spot for 1900 pesos, its located between Mango Square and Ayala Mall and you can walk to both. Since you're with a girl, you may want to consider staying out on Mactan Island, its a lot nicer and calmer there than in the city and only about a half hour taxi ride away.

OP my real problem is you're asking for things that you could easily find out on your own, it is not the sort of specialized knowledge you can only find here. You know your budget, not us. A quick look at airbnb shows you can rent an entire apartment for $30-60 per day. Hotel is probably similar. For example, Quest hotel near Ayala mall is about $50-60 per night, depending on when you're staying. All of this took me about 1 minute to discover.

P.S. When in Cebu, I stay in Quest near Ayala with long stay package. Good value for money and Ayala is a good spot for a day game. Also some local talent hangs out at TGI Friday bar after sunset.

That said, The OP can do waaaaay better than that girl, looks wise, at least. You are a good looking chap. Just think about it brother before you take a plunge with this gal. Use Agoda for hotel recs.

I have stayed at Quest hotel & pinnacle hotel..Think its
Pinnacle. Its right around the corner from Quest.

I preferred Pinnacle to Quest....was a bit cheaper when
i was there.

Don't listen to the haters here. If you meet the right
person you know.....

Cebu will get boring for 2 weeks. My 2 cents. I would
fly around Phily and see a few different cities.

You asked for some hotels and got some recs.

So a couple of guys made a few comments you didn't like. Maybe next time you just ignore them and stay on your mission to get some hotel recommendations.

I know it is the internet and people take pot shots and stuff, so if anything the internet tests our control and will more than in real life.

This really isn't the forum to come to and ask about hotel recommendations for your honeymoon. There's a dozen other Phil travel forums out there for that.

Do we really want to let the forum be contaminated by guys who are obviously blue pill? Is poking fun at blue pill guys who stumble into here really hating? If a karate guy stumbled onto the BJJ forums asking about his kata form he'd get laughed at too. That isn't hating, the op is just clearly in the wrong place.
