Great observation. This is where the Call to Check Your Privilege comes from, and why thoughts have to be monitored and apologised for, even if not translated into action. This is where observing a racial difference would become racism, observing sexual difference would become sexism, etc.

I can't remember if I clarified that we're not dealing with Traditional Puritanism, but a bastardisation of Purtianism and Cultural Marxism. The puritan mindset, thought process and translation into action remains, just the nature of the allowable sins has changed*.

The final quote in my post above describes the bastardisation process of Catholicism.

* For now. I expect sexual repression to play a larger and larger part in this movement, if it persists. If you were deeply-uncomfortable with the sex act, and unconsciously wanted to avoid it, wouldn't it make sense to identify as such a unique, specific gender as to be the only one in it, and therefore never be faced with the expectation that you might be sexually-compatible with someone? If a potential partner can't tell what you are, how can they be turned on by you?
