Sometimes it's not obvious that it's a bot you're talking to, but there are a few signs you can look for.

1. Sentence structure: They'll say completely random shit that may or may not make sense.
2. Quick escalation: If they're (sexually) escalating the conversation a few messages in, it's definitely a bot.

Sometimes - and this is rare, but it still happens - they'll even have a normal conversation with you. Then after you get their number, or if you give them yours, they'll start asking if you want to see them on cam. It's quite annoying, really.

Hey guys, quick tinder question.

I've noticed that my matches have become much fewer and far between after the update that added Tinder Plus. I actually have refrained from downloading the update because they basically nerfed the app. Anyone know if part of the problem could be that I'm running the pre-update app software? I've never been on a fatty and bot filled run in my life. Any advice is appreciated

Definitely. As you say, if a girl right swipes you and you left swipe her they give you another shot at her later. And sometimes it's probably just a glitch. Many borderline ones who I'd go left on and then reconsider later when they popped back up would be an instant match though.

I updated my Tinder yesterday. The ratio of matches to swipes collapsed but then I came across re-cycled women that I had already left or right swiped.

I have deleted my profile several times now.

It seems you need a unique phone number to stay at the top of the queue as well. I am getting zilch compared to the first time around. My photos are pretty good.

Matched with a legit knockout (at least in my opinion) and assumed it was a bot. Profile looked semi-suspicious. Typically, I wait for them to give me the typical bot response to confirm they are, then I unmatch them.

Anyway, so I didn't want to wait for her to message me. I wanted to know right away. So I wrote "I hope you're not a spam bot." as my opener, expecting her to send me a link to her cam site or some shit. Well, I was wrong. Not a bot. And she didn't respond to the opener. I'd look like a thirsty douche if I try to reengage her after my opener fell flat. Even if I do reopen I feel like the frame is set, and I'm already behind the ball, trying to send her lines that would hold her interest.

I guess my takeaway is, at least I matched with a smokeshow. Onwards we go.

I post the screen saved bot messages as memorable moments. Women are fascinated by them and this opens up a lot of moribund chats. Some think them real harlots while others seem to think they are women throwing sex at me which is no bad thing.

So I'm curious how others would respond to this. Nothing crazy deep but I was just messaged "Hey doll face "

I would run the newest version even though it comes with its own set of problems and see what happens.

Someone mentioned something about only matching with girls that you swiped on in that moment in time. I'm having the same problem. If I swipe on a girl, and it doesn't automatically tell me that we matched, I don't get the match. I don't log back in to find that I got some new matches overnight or whatever. If I don't match with them then and there, I don't get her at a later time. Wonder why that is. Very strange. Didn't always used to be like that.

What should I make of this? Its been like 20 mins since i gave her my address and she hasn't responded

First time tried this, got a girl basically got into interview mode with me and asked me whether I'm serious enough for relationship?(my profile picture looks a bit assholish) To be honest, I was a bit repulsed by the whole thing even she's more than bangable.

It varies. I've been trying a few different ones.
I'm not a bad looking guy. Athletic tone. I just don't game nearly enough because I don't have much time with my job currently.
Recently I've tried an action shot - offroading is my niche; i'm in one of my trucks offroading. This I feel has done the best for me.
I tried a professional shirtless from my "ripped days" only my chin down with me looking off in the side. I actually didn't get many results from this.
Now i'm trying my current which is me just in a nice suit. Too early to comment on this.
