I'm not into bdsm myself, but the things stack-on mentions are, based on my indirect knowledge, not uncommon in that community once you're really in it.

I think to be really good at bdsm (and it takes skill for sure), you truly need to get off on it and enjoy it. I've done just mild bondage, and while it's fun, it doesn't really make me crazy horny or fill me with immense desire or pleasure.

I wasn't abused as a child. I think that I was born this way. My first sexual fantasy included hot women I saw at the beach in bikinis being chained to a basement wall. As for the women I've played with: some of them were, and some of them weren't. The important thing is that you either fulfill your fantasies in a safe, consensual, and legal way. Or failing that choose not to act on them.

If you want to learn how to do bdsm the right way go to fetlife. Join a local association, and go to a meetup. Almost everywhere will have a local group where you can be vetted. You can go there anonymously (you don't have to give your name or info). Local groups generally have free or low cost monthly educational seminars where you can learn. They also have play parties where you can meet other kinksters and use what you've learned at a dungeon.

Getting involved locally and attending educational events will do a lot to help you grow. There are tons of things that I've learned to do safely because of the local community that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to do: Electricity, hot wax, liquid nitrogen, branding, etc.

It's no more of an addiction then chasing women is. A man could just sleep with the same woman over and over. But most guys want a sex life full of abundance and variety. Blondes, brunettes, redheads, asians, white girls, latinas, 3-somes, orgies, etc. Guys want to pull 7's instead of 6's; then 8 instead of 7's. The list could go on. That takes skill and time to cultivate. The better you get at it the the more options you will have. Same deal with bdsm. Learning that takes time and skill.

Think of bdsm as a second layer on top of game. You have to have decent game to get partners. If you put in more time you can start to do more: interesting, intricate, unique things.

I'm not gonna knock him for this one, yes, my mind was blown, I honestly thought the guy was trolling at first, but he's pretty dead set in his ways.

Some of this pure disgusting others more in line with my thinking. Guess for me it's making a girl so dependent on your company that she texts you 50 times a day, consistently asks for your time/spends money on you, can't let go of your arm while in your company, and will try every cutesy thing in the book to have you notice her. Complete dominance and dependence emotionally is my biggest turn on when she hits that stage. TK to short circuit all that expertise would you say that:

1) Compliance
2) Responsiveness to communication

Could be the two highest practical things in knowing if a woman is a bad apple or not?
