This thread's purpose being expired, I nominate it to be about cool motorcycles now.

One bike I've been looking to grab is the Yamaha SR400. Back to the basics with a big-ass single cylinder and a (new type, less annoying-to-start) kickstarter. This is the perfect bike for tinkering in my garage and I've been drooling over it for a while this year.

Current (realistic) dream bikes:







KTM Adventure 1290 for dual sport craziness. Triumph Daytona 675R for everyday road abuse, and the BMW S1000RR for pure sex.

That is, until I start looking into the Italian bikes.

Since I'm of the opinion that every thread is this forum should be getting me laid, has anyone had any luck running motorcycle game?

My last exclusive girlfriend (broke up with her and never looked back 3.5 years ago) had a real hard-on for how dangerous motorcycles were and refused to ever let me buy one. Ironically, she'd let me cart her around on my electric powered motorbike that did traffic speeds in China.

Of course, we all know that motorcycles turn on some girls, but has anyone ever had a girl on a D2 who refused to take a ride on one, who otherwise would have been cool with getting in a car with you?

I ride a black GSX-R 600, almost exactly like this one:



It gets younger pussy wet, no question. But it seems as if the older the girl gets, the less she cares or even starts to dislike. I can't really support this with numbers, just a strong feeling.

They all give me looks though. Other riders care to elaborate?

One of the amazing things about Colombia was seeing all those giant asses wrapped around motorcycle seat. It was such a beautiful sight.

That is lush. Nothing wrong with a Japanese single cylinder, my Honda XR250 is perfect for me, nipping around town and then across fields and up dirt tracks.

This would be my dream bike. My buddy has the 450 version.

Anyone rides Ural motorcycles?
It's a Soviet copy of 1938 BMW R71 that they have never upgraded.

A friend of mine has one and he raves about it. He's American though.
My being Russian, I remember riding these things as a kid and I remember them being the piece of shit they they are--the infamous Soviet quality, you know.

Still, it is a living relic of times past, I suppose. Something must be said about "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
