I've noticed a trend in my personal life for people to vastly overestimate other peoples wealth particularly when it comes to multi millionaires. I end up seeing their finances at times in my career and most people have way less net worth then you think they do. I think a lot of Rooshers are way overestimating the wealth of ex-gf's dads. Even the offspring if they aren't told by their parents tend to way overestimate it.

Fair point. Credit and a commitment to one's "image" can make a lot of people appear way more wealthy than they are. I'm convinced that many of the wealthiest people that one meets go undetected because they stay low-profile because they don't flaunt it.

Also, I realize that this isn't "super rich," but if you get to know someone who's worth say 20-30 MM it's going to come out that they're ballers eventually because - even if you want to - you can't hide being worth that much.

As far as wealthy types only being comfortable around other wealthy types, I think this may be less of the case in NYC. There is a lot more inter-mingling. You can be non-wealthy but still have access to events / circles / venues.

"Dodge pre-nups" was a figure of speech -- my overall point was I wouldn't want to be a gold-digger.

I think the coolest thing are the connections.

Also with super wealthy people / families, you'd be shocked how much they DO NOT PAY for things! People fall over backwards to offer them deals, discounts, free stuff, special services (i.e. famous restaurants that don't deliver will deliver to them), etc. Friends in high places (huge landlords reserving under-market-rate apartments for their wealthy friends).

Also it seems there is a notable subset of folks in these situations who truly value hard work and making their own wealth, even though they know their family has the wealth in the background. They don't want to rely on it, or be controlled by purse-strings. That is not to say the stereotype of lazy spoiled wealthy folks doesn't exist.

She acts pretty low profile, but she lives in a flat that is worth over 20MM. She's on another level.

Basically the good life with no problems.

I've never dated millionaires, but i've dated more than a few chicks that make twice what I make.

Just a few

1) Some expect you to be the gentleman 100% of the time. I.E. you pay all the time. Something that comes with the territory when you date college students and teachers.

2) Other times you split, half and half, but she has champagne tastes. Find yourself putting in dollars on some shit that you don't even know about because you're not paying top bracket income tax. That not only fucks with your wallet, but it fucks with your manhood. You can't compete with this chick

3) other chicks have no problem spending, but they expect to wear the pants in the relationship

It can be all sorts of things. But money changes the dynamic.

You've got to be rock solid in your game, telling a chick what to do, telling her how to spend, and still keeping her on the team mentally.

I'll add some more information. I have to change some details to ensure my identity is kept safe. Met my misses DayGaming in capital city. Small, cute, quiet but friendly. Went on a few dates, she generally offered to pay. Found out her old man was very successful, by then already in love.

Old man owns a massive shipping company in Asia. Also is developing massive amounts of property in a Western Country I do not want to name. Has property all over the world and has offered me some (I knocked it back, asked if he could teach me business instead). He has a few kids but they are all spoilt/lazy, I am hard working so he treats me like a son.

For dating rich girls you need to:
- Find them: Generally in high end malls. Question what they do, if the live alone

Treat them like any other girls. The filthy rich ones have very little idea about money and dont even know how rich they are

- Play the racial card:
If you are white, target rich asians/indians. Its easier for the family to like you as they view you as better than them

My recommendation is to be very, very careful. Money at that level has one purpose.... control.

Her family tried pupeteering our very existence through sinister means. Sure everything was done with a smile and the pretense of good will, but this can make the aphorism "All's fair in love and war," completely lopsided.

I'd even go as far as saying that there is a cut off in their willfulness to exercise that power. If the family (extended, parents on down) is worth less than 15-20m, you're probably safe. But if they're worth much more than 20m, LOOK OUT !

I come from a well-off family w/a good job so I slice between those economic stratas. Plus I have some $, nice whip, dress like a million bucks, and have some game.

I can add in:

- $ : My rich girls all expect me to pay for them aka "champagne wishes designer b-tches"
- Sex- Freakier than normal. Probably repressed childhoods. A lot of masochists. Freakier than thai P4P girls.
- BF- All of them have commitment issues. Its either a distrust of outsiders (rich fobs are constantly scared of getting robbed or hustled) or a lack of parental influence (parents working all the time and traveling)
- Drugs- 50/50 on this one. Most dabble but don't go overboard

Expect to have lots of hard up-front resistance and then have to constantly bolster the girl's ego after you start smashing regularly. Rich girls are a paradox. Extremely independent because they are not forced to work and enter the real world, but isolated in their existence because they rarely meet outsiders

For dating rich girls generally, and this may seem so common sense it's not needed, but...

Good, sophisticated manners, at the table and otherwise. Of course, not try-hard or like you're trying to "act rich" yourself.

If you're a high- IQ guy, you can show this more rather than "dumbing yourself down" like I found myself doing to connect with girls who never cultivated their minds.

To re-iterate, make good first impressions with the parents and keep those good impressions.

Be motivated and self-actualizing yourself, even if being wealthy isn't year goal. A rich girl could totally be into a broke artist-type, but only one who is fully following his passion and lives a seemingly charmed life.
