I was out in DC last night. It solidified my choice to finally move.

Don't get me wrong, there ARE fine women in DC. But the ratios are absolutely horrible. (Though I did have two girls hit on me last night, one even grabbing my ass).

I was in Spider Kellys and four attractive girls rolled in. The bar was already a sausage fest at this point mind you, and half of the dudes in the bar moved to the side of the bar with the four attractive girls LITERALLY. I could no longer move. There were literally 4 attractive girls, and probably 30-40 guys clusterfcuking there way in there. When I left the bar there was a line of about 80% dudes queued up to go in!

I think the most important statistic to judge a city for its desirability for picking up women is this: ratio of attractive women to studs. By "studs" I mean guys who are fairly attractive and/or aggressively trying to pick these girls up, so "alpha" I guess, or at least not beta. IMO, this makes DC the WORST.

People come to DC often because they're "go-getters" and aggressive career types. This breeds alpha-type behavior in males and undesirable, butch qualities in girls (usually). Almost every time I meet an attractive girl in DC she is a teacher (and every city has these).

DC is still certainly better than some podunk town in Iowa, but its definitely one of the worst cities for picking up women, no doubt.

They haven't released the 2011 edition of America's Favorite Cities yet, but its based on LOTS of data, so it seems pretty legit.

I'd take that most attractive cities list with a huge grain of salt. It said Nashville is more attractive than LA. Having lived in both places I can tell you that's a huge crock of shit. I have no idea what kind of criteria they are using here to make this list.

Its really simple, you either vote as a visitor or a resident (there's an option on top to toggle) and its year round, so that's a lot of votes. Like I said, its both male and female, so maybe women in Nashville think highly of all of the cowboys there?

That being said, the list seems pretty legit to me, as far as cities I've spent some time in. Out of the 10-15 or so cities on the list I've been to on the list, they're in the right order for me.

You will see more fly girls at the Miami airport in a few hours than a few months in San Diego.

However one would think since girls follow the money, and DC is actually doing pretty well economically that it would attract at least some hot gold diggers.

They would rather get hit on by a "fake" rich guy in Vegas vs a stable earner in DC.

I bet if hot gold digger girls would ever attack DC, they would clean up.

You can't base DC on the demographics of what girls the cameramen focused in on at a UMD vs Miami game. Come on. Trust me. DC is not full of hot girls. If you find them, their heads are on the moon. Sevens think they are 11s. It's quite comical.

Miami ranks higher than NYC but I feel that the attractive girls in Miami have much more bitch shield than attractive girls in NYC. In addition to hotness level, the raw ratio of singles matters too.

Honestly, I find threads like this kind of pointless. If you google around you can find pics of hot girls or ugly girls from any city you want. There's no way to get a feel for the ratio, the vibe, the consistency of nightlife, etc., until you actually hit the ground.

UMD has some hot girls because of sheer numbers but u'll never see those girls in DC even tho the school is only 10 min away.

Spent all day in Dulles yesterday. Even the quality sucks in the airport. It's nowhere close to ATL, where you can girl watch all day. There was a fine ass Ethiopian bartender though.

This past weekend I checked out DC again and it was so horrific I'm not gonna be doing this shit for a while. For those of you not currently going out, you're not missing anything at all.

I was at Ultrabar on Fri. night, and it was a colony of hungry, lustful, and desperate guys. I wanted to take a pic but it was dark and my phone doesn't have flash. Even standing in line I was astonished to see rows of males with barely a girl anywhere in between. I left shortly after midnight.

Last night (Sat.) I checked out two places, Ozio and Adams Morgan. Both were a waste of time. Ozio had two multi-sets, 4 girls per each, and around 40 guys. The two multi-sets were closed and not looking at anyone, so it was a struggle even to get anywhere near them. Adams Morgan was even worse, kinda empty in the middle of September, I tried to chat up this pair of middle-aged women and got the coldest put-down I've had in a while.

The thing I don't get is, it's September, school is in session, so why is the scene so awful in DC right now? It'd be one thing if it was summer or something, but everyone is in town, from young to old, the Fall semester is in full swing... I don't get it.

It's gotten to the point where DC is terrible regardless of the season/weather.

DC is a truly horrible city for ratio in bars and clubs and on any given night every bar has more guys than girls however I am starting to notice after many fruitless years of searching for a HOT (i am not gonna settle for a DC 5 or 6) gf that the place to meet them is outdoors, aka, day game. Today as I was cycling in my wifebeater shirt I was noticing plenty of 7+ girls left and right picnicking, jogging, and just walking around the Georgetown waterfront - Kennedy Center area. I made eye contact with several (probably has something to do with my jacked physique as it can't be my scarred face) of them alas couldn't approach due to shyness...So I would love to hear DC day stories of some of the players on this forum.

It almost seems like the hot girls, such as they are, can't decide where to congregate. Maybe there just isn't a critical mass of them, so they're all too dispersed.

I was at Public Bar and Mad Hatters on Friday night and can report similarly bad ratios and precious little talent.

I actually disagree w/this - Labor Day is usually the start of a pretty good 3 month run, up until Thanksgiving. Lots of people are out of town in July and especially August, a lot of the hot party girls shoot down to the beach quite often. Come September everyone is back, football gets people excited, and the weather has cooled and is much nicer, and everyone is out and about. Once you get to December forget about it until about April/May.

I'd imagine the directors, producers, casting directors in Hollywood are literally cleaning it up with 8's and 9's. I'm not privy to the industry, but I'm guessing a lot of them give parts in exchange for sex.
