To the people saying "meh, these are nothing special," I don't know where the fuck you go that you see models walking around everywhere. Maybe it's just the online dating goggles talking, but they are all very bangable and some of them (Celina, Clare, Lucy, Mary, Swetha) I find positively smokin'. I see fit, handsome guys with girls exponentially fatter and uglier than any of these all the time.

Actually, I live in one of the most remote cities in the country with a population under 100,000 in an area the size of New Hampshire, and I still see hotter girls every time I go out. So... I could roll into any Freshman Chemistry course and find 8 girls better than these.

Harvard and the Ivy League are notorious for plain girls... At any state school they will be better. It's common knowledge that the better schools for girls are known to be places like ASU and FSU etc... Warmer climate = less clothing and more pressure to stay in shape.

Somehow I doubt the Crimson actually methodically ranked all the freshman by attractiveness though, they probably just picked people they know, with a token Asian, Indian, Black, Jew and Latina (looking) girl for the sake of diversity, and that Italian dude just because off his accent. You'll see better looking people walking down the street, but Mary the mixed looking chick is the hottest, Clare seems the most feminine based off the video. ASU, FSU, SEC schools are not 'any state schools'. The Big 10 and a vast majority of state schools outside of the south/south-west/socal are the worst of both worlds.

At state schools you get a LOT more variation. The Roissy article nails it regarding obesity and cognitive divergence and I see this trend getting worse. I went to a state school for undergrad and an elite private for grad school and the elite private on the low end had almost no land whales. My state school had them by the truckloads.

The only one that really stands out, the only one I rank above a 7 is Mary (maybe even 8). Sure, read her quotes and she sounds like a spoiled pain in the ass but I'd gleefully slam that raw, the rest of them are just alright (but WB all of them if circumstances were met). Not impressive talent (though I get the feeling these are 'safe' picks and there are indeed better girls there), but it's Harvard...

It's all about demographics. There is a positive correlation between facial attractiveness and IQ. The better off a girl grew up the less chance she'll be fat and/or ugly, and rich girls do very well academically because she inherited her parents smarts that made them rich, plus better schools, tutoring etc. But when you get to the very top academically things reverse face wise, hot girls have better things to do then get literally perfect grades, whereas plain looking rich girls don't have all those distractions.

Looks vary a lot but what they study as well. The law school at my university is extremely selective and has more stunners than anywhere else I've ever seen, but you won't find much talent among girls who actually do Engineering or anything heavy in math.

Random thoughts:

Six of the fifteen are from New York. Three others are from Europe. That leaves six (40%) from the other 49 states of the US, all of them coastal. There is no one from the south or the so-called fly-over states. Is that representative of Harvard generally?

Reading their profiles, there was, of course, a certain amount of youthful naivete and a certain obvious attempt to at once signal progressive credentials and also appear "ordinary". Most of them came off as the kind of complete cunts I wouldn't want to have anything to do with. Also of note, more than one person mentioned Kanye West as a bloody role model. Really? I can't imagine the average Harvard student three generations ago doing the equivalent. This is the degeneracy of the (future) upper class.

Also of note was that when asked for what they looked for in a guy/girl, most of them listed physical characteristics over personality. At least they're honest about that.

Specific thoughts on each person:

Women
Adrienne: Not very attractive, not very interesting.
Celina: I think she is really beautiful, though not much of a body and I'd prefer that she had different eyes (I don't like brown eyes on Western women). Her profile though, no thanks.
Clare: No on both looks and personality.
Emily: I don't find her attractive at all, but as soon as I saw her I thought "there's an old money face". Based upon her profile, I think she's trying to appear much smarter than she actually is and would be neurotic as fuck.
Gussie: No and no. She'd be damned annoying to be around. Every conversation would involve her having a massive chip on her shoulder about intersectionality.
Lucy: By far not the hottest Asian chick you'll ever see, but cute in a young Ziyi Zhang kind of way. Definitely wouldn't say no. Also, her personality is probably the least obnoxious of all the girls by a huge mile, though you know she'd be laser focused on her career. She listed her role models as her parents. That speaks volumes compared to most on the list. She's probably the only one of the women I would actually date, though the afore-mentioned focus on her career would be a turn off.
Mary: An incredible smile (though perhaps a slightly too large mouth), don't think she's that great aside from that. Doesn't seem very interesting.
Swetha: She's not bad looking for an Indian chick, but Jesus, that personality. She'd definitely be one of the worst to spend any time with.

Men
Archie: He seems like he'd be an insufferable prick in every way.
Efe: Probably one of only two guys I'd like to hang out with.
Hunter: He might secetly be a bit of a dick, but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he seems like the only other guy I'd like to hang out with on this list.
Kennedy: Complete wanker.
Pietro: Might have been interesting/cool, but lists Jennifer Lawrence as a role model. WTF?
Skip: He obviously has some energy, but it could go either way whether he'd actually be cool or a complete tool.
Zena: I think he could go either way on being cool or a tool, but what's up with that style? Is he peacocking as an eccentric academic hardcore, or is the guy a complete flaming homo (I know he mentions marrying a woman, but still)?
