If you're willing to broaden your horizon beyond simply white girls, you'll get laid in Toronto. My numbers when I was single in Edmonton and Toronto were identical.

Toronto's biggest issue is lack of decent good paying jobs, and the rise of the anti genuine people in the city. Fake ass people doing fake ass shit posing for a living. Too many people pretend they're king shit but they're not even peasant status.

Well, it wasn't just the transportation, but a large part of it. There are different dynamics at play in the US and Canada. If you have noticed before, Canada was never a majorly developed country. Much of the development took place in the Eastern corridor, and even to this day, Canada really has only three major cities. Contrast that to the US, the East was already highly developed.

New York continued its prominence because it's transportation and seaport advantage was still continued to be supported by major cities such as Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, ect. If you remember, Chicago grew so dramatically in its early history that at one time it was the 5th largest city in the world. But there was a limit to that.

In Canada in contrast, the only really major economic areas were the St. Lawerence region and the Golden Horseshoe. With the growth of the surrounding regions, such as Windsor, Kitchener-Waterloo, ect. Toronto became a natural hub for Canada, whereas Chicago didn't really to the same extent because there was much more development in other regions of the country.

I lived in Montreal for over two years and loved it. Honestly, it's hard to say what it would have been like now if the Quiet Revolution didn't occur. However, one thing that makes Montreal so unique is its Quebecois culture and its uniqueness compared to the rest of Canada. It's also probably the most bilingual city in the world which adds another dimension to it. In fact, this is why I choose Montreal to live in because I don't actually like Canadian/US culture that much in many aspects.

Would Montreal be better today if it didn't happen? Not so sure. Perhaps economically, but socially probably not. At the end of the day, it's not like Montreal has been thrown into the waste bin. It's still an economically powerful and a true cultural capital of the country.

Toronto isn't a bad city - but spend a night with a french girl from Montreal & spend a night with a Ontario girl from Toronto... you'll witness something different.

The difference with the French girl is stronger than if compared with girls from other provinces. (Alberta vs Toronto) (Nova Scotia vs Toronto etc)

For what it's worth, that very difference is what explains - and validates, the separatist movement. You may not agree with it... but you can probably understand it.

Once again, Toronto is in the spotlight.

The question was should Toronto be on the list of top 50 party spots in the world, obviously the answer is no.
The scene is not bad but you have to be connected and no the right people/spots to hit. What was good 6 months ago is now played out.

Comparing Toronto to Montreal is laughable, they are two different countries if you ask me.

Also saying Toronto isn't that bad is like saying your girlfriend ain't that fat.

Yeah these dudes that say that are Toronto Trolls! Toronto's vibrant city life died about 10 to 12 years ago. No signs of life or coming back, DOA for 2014 and beyond. Any place that I have to be connected from living in a place my whole life, to have a good time i'll pass. I lived in Toronto for 5 years, and saw the same lame people in the same lame VIP booths. Toronto has its moments, granted I'm biased by the fact I went there for school and stayed for five years.

I was lucky to fall into a great scene while it was on the way up, and saw it die in the span I was there. There were a few clubs I was a regular at that weren't in the club district and produced some memories I will keep with me for life.

Social circle is decidedly important, and I had a good one. I was heavy into the drugs and music and got to see some amazing shows. I met my main and my side while in that scene so I can't complain.

I had some memorable blow outs, but that is part of the fun I think. You move on and learn.

I think the unadulterated trashing of Toronto is undeserved. It might not be a NYC or LA or Vegas, and certainly not a third world paradise, but it still has some great pockets for nightlife, excellent cultural opportunities, and overall a very relaxed vibe. (Outside of the entertainment district on weekends)

I have to mention, my best friend that I met in residence pointed me in the direction of game, and I'll be forever thankful for that. Before that I was pretty much stuck in the nice guy provider mindset. At the very least I can say Toronto was good for me.

You were here for five years and you fell into a scene and had "relative" success. I am sure that was a few years back, since you mention the club district which is no more. I have been here since the 80s, partying that is and those days I never wanted to leave.

You also mention drugs,you will be surprised how many gals are into that. Even my man Kosko mentioned awhile back how having blow is important in this city. Christ, last year I went to an after hours on a Tuesday night ( yes Tuesday ) and the amount of cute coke sluts there was crazy. They were even in the "mens" washroom, which was another story. For the record I am not into drugs.

Toronto is a battleground or more like a war zone. Leave for a week and you realize how good other places are vs how bad this place is.

I never said I was in the club district, my two main hang outs were on Queen West and King West. But after three years of getting fucked up every other day, I was happy to get out of it when it was infiltrated by the masses.

Would I recommend Toronto as a party city for someone who doesn't have connections? Absolutely not. Montreal is far superior, and even Ottawa is better.

Let's see-

-You used to do heavy drugs and EDM. Plenty of girls in TO are into that and its easy to build a social circle if you're into that kind of stuff.

-You went to University in Toronto, instantly plugging you into social circles.

-You mentioned in your data sheet about waiting for IOIs, which I rarely receive in Toronto. Maybe you're really good looking but I don't look for IOIs at all because I just don't see them that often.

Anyways, it's not a surprise you did well.

No one really denies you can have fun if you're in an ideal situation in Toronto. But in general, the people of Toronto are cold... and the women are difficult. Yes if you're a drug dealer or heavy in the music scene you are hooked up... but the whole point of the hate towards Toronto in this forum is that it sucks for cold approach.

Like dude... the fact that literally 80 percent of the girls who respond well to me in TO are generally new to the city either from a small town or outside the country. Girls who grew up in Toronto think that getting approached is "creepy" and "weird" unless its by a super handsome guy and have their bitch shields up. That's what real life experience shows me.

Even girls from Mississauga are significantly friendlier. The difference is extremely noticeable and many guys have reported the same thing.

Not to mention the fact that many girls and guys from outside Toronto say the same thing, that Toronto is unfriendly.

The whole point of what I say isn't to be negative, but to dissuade people from moving here. Way too many people hype Toronto and convince people to live here... and then set up them up for disappointment.

Come January 1st Toronto bars will be even worse with the new smoking laws put in place by the lovely dyke Wynn and the Provincial Government.

Smoking will be banned outright from bars, even smoking patios and smoking decks that used to be on rooftops, or just outside the bar in a outside area will not be allowed. The new rule bans smoking to 6 meters away from any restaurant or bar front door. So literally people will have to go outside, across the street to have a smoke, or go around out back to the side of a building.

You already notice the balkanization of smokers and non-smokers but this will make it even worse. In the summer months the streets will just be filled with smokers and the bars with drinkers. People will just hang out outside for the majority of the night, with a half empty bar, but still with "capacity" rules in place and a lineup outside the door... quite foolish.

Preach it! Toronto used to have a really cool and unique music scene. And when you went to clubs, there was a mix of people from all over the city, with various tastes in music. But that's when Toronto had a real club and lounge scene. It was fun back then. Actually felt like Toronto had it's own personality then. But now Toronto is just a generic place with generic people in it. You used to see people dress all weird and interesting, the city had a lot of character in those days. Lot of individuality then too.

Those days are long gone. Maybe i'll go back there in the summer for a visit, but no way in hell i'd visit there in the winter. That place is already depressing, don't need the cold weather making it worse.

I don't think Toronto is as bad as I used to think it was.

If you check it, a disproportionate amount of the people complaining are black, but non-blackness is one of the most important characteristics that women look for in men here, though a lot of brothers don't seem to realize the extent to which this is true.

This is true most obviously true for non-black women, but it also true for a surprising number of black women too. But even the black women for whom it isn't true, you will have a hard time meeting them randomly.

I am black, but I now do relatively well on OKC (mostly with white women). That fact, it should be noted, is not inconsistent with what I have just said: My personal characteristics are outstanding enough that they attract a large number of the relatively few women on there who are open to brothers. Still, it is clear to me that I don't do as well as I should given the above-referenced characteristics.

I don't do well at night, though I'm usually the best looking guy in the bar. Admittedly, part of that is my game though. I do know a brother who does well at night here (mostly with white women), but he is taller (around 6'2), more built, knows how to preemptively disarm their stereotypes and seems to have better game. But again, he is by no means your average brother.

So I can see how certain guys can do well here; I just think that it is much easier if you are white. If you are black, you pretty much have to be unusually attractive and have other things going for you to have a chance. Again, I am talking about night and online game, not social circle game.

I should also mention venue. The simply fact is that there are some places where women are much more likely to go with the aim of picking up than other places.

Most of those top places seem to be very seasonal. For example, Ibiza and IOS are only good in the Summer and Koh Phangan is only any good if it's around Full Moon Party period. I've also heard that Rio is very hard to party in until you're an expat and get use to the scene.

Which would be your top CITIES if we're making a list based on non-stop, 7 days a week vibrancy. I can't imagine any US cities being to crazy with the whole working culture and most people ending their nights early. Australia is also mainly a weekend only type party destination.

I know Bangkok would be up there because it's fucking crazy every night of the week, but is there any places with predominantly white girls that is similar?

I didn't see this at all. Unless you say things have taken a total tail spin and it's looking up for non black guys. When I was there, it was long for all races. I went to a BBQ before I left with a Venezuelan friend and his hispanic boys (plus lizard). One of the guys was a decent looking chap from Argentina and when I mentioned how long Toronto was (I had gotten my visa to go to America and pretty much washed my hands off of that city), he totally agreed and shared his woes. My Venezuelan friend also mentioned how much of a pain dating was (flaky lizards, yoyo treatment). However guys who live there generally soldier on (no other choice).

Again, bear in mind that no one is saying it's impossible. It's just the interactions are long and energy sucking. You cannot be yourself on dates. If you are not PC in your opinions and convo, your views will be looked on as if you say you like to rape cats and you will freeze yourself out of the lay.

My advice is to go out clubbing on a Thursday night. You tend to get the real Torontonians then and remove the wack 905'ers from the equation who only go out to dick tease and dance in huge groups. Saturday yield usually sucked for me.
