Cebu Clubs music style qestions.

J Ave and Liv appear to be the two places to go to: What kind of music and set up? Be specific if you can. House? Top 40? Rock? Newer poppy dancable radio stuff? I'm a big House and Trance dance fan, maybe some disco/funk nights. I actually like to dance and do it well. I'm thinking this might be fun to milk some of the hotter girls.

Anyone remember specific styles of music at either of those places (seems to be the top places).

The J Ave & Liv both play mainly mainstream house, like bad by david guetta. I doubt you will hear any trance or funk while you're there.

If you keen on dancing game then you can do a bit of that at J Ave. Liv and I.T. park is more bottle service & table game. If u really want a challenge, then go for the Korean girls. You'll prob need to approach then you would with the filipino girls.

1+ plus month in Feb would be good with social circle game. That's really the only way I see a foreigner banging one of those snobby bitches. Try getting a table for 4 grand (pesos) and ordering a nice bottle at either JAve or Liv. I wouldn't try cold approaching them since since they r even shyer and more insecure than th filipinos

I'm writing this about Manila, not Cebu.

I dated one Korean from OKC. No SNL, couldn't get the bang.

I lined up another and she flaked on me. She texted me out of the blue and I flaked on her. Never followed up because I don't have time for that shit.

It's certainly possible if you isolate.

I am having trouble deciding whether to go back Jakarta for a month or checking out Cebu. I am supper confident I could hit my notch goal for the year in either but I can't decide if it's better to expand my horizons or relive some old glory days.

Why not do 2 weeks in both? That's plenty of time to explore Cebu City.

By the way, I've just come back from a trip to Manila, Boracay, Cebu City, Bangkok and Jakarta (data sheet to follow).

Update: I have indeed ended up in Cebu. I touched down 3 nights ago and got my first lay in Jave that night. She was a 7 7.5ish. Since then I have had some jet lag issues and was yawning in the club. Then last night happened; I had a thanksgiving buffet at Marshalls Irish Pub(say what's up to Larry he is an ex marine who runs the place) went back to my room to food coma for a bit and headed to the club around 12. I must have done fifteen sets and I got a make out from a drunk six who ended up trying to snatch my smokes out of my hand so I sent the bitch on her way. Then I approch this girl did some dirty dancing and French kissing but after all of three minutes she was like lets go to your hotel and I asked what do you do for a living and she gave me the blank face so I knew she was pro and I headed to the bar to jägerbomb my frustration. I did a few more sets to no avail and headed in for the night around 5. There are definitely some stunners in there but they aren't super receptive though they are a not I will crack or die trying.


I have some leads on Tinder and I will report back on how those pan out. I also am going to try the Swoop guys hand your number out day game strategy.

Also I need to find a gym so I can lift and would be very appreciative of advice on that.

I've been here in cebu three months, drooling over tall, thin, pale Korean chicks and they have some fucking Anti-Old-White-Guy radar-- They sense me coming and manage to totally avoid even making eye contact.

Often they are with 6 foot plus Korean guys. They are all studying English here on the cheap. the cute Flip girl I'm seeing teaches the young ones.

If you're under 35 and sharp maybe you can get somewhere. Shit, white SORORITY CHICKS IN THE USA show more interest in me than those girls....Being a total snob in Asia is considered completely natural, whereas upper-middle class white girls sometimes feel like they should at least acknowledge you exist.

My speculation is if you're Nordic looking and can avoid her friends knowing it might be OK.

Maybe part of the problem is that a lot of them are actually living here, studying for months at a time--several whole floors of Winland Towers Apartments are all K students with guards! to keep others from entering those floors.

So they are not on vacation, they will face judgement by their peers if they are here for months.

Yeah Koreans are extremely group conscious. Being seen with the white boy is social death for a high SMV Korean chick. The key is to try to get in there subtly and operate with some stealth. If you are in good shape you can definitely pump a few Koreans abroad. They aren't as cold as they try to look.

By the way Japanese chicks are similar, but their men are significantly less guarding and don't give as much of a shit. Racial mixing is much more common in Japan.

I had the same frustrations in my time in Cebu. I got a tall Korean girls number in the club. Got her out on a date a couple days later. Got her back to my place. Got to second base and... she went completely cold. Everything was good, but I think they are just really conservative. A couple years later I still get messages from her telling me to visit her in Korea.

Just got back from my second 11 day trip to Cebu.

13 new notches (9 from online/Tinder, 4 from J Ave), new record, went out 10 nights, ran sniper game in the club as I stick out too much, controlled my drinking most nights, was an absolute machine this trip.

Online:
Tinder
Okcupid

Gym:
Marriott Hotel – Ok gym but if you don’t stay there you can’t go between 5pm and 8pm which is a pain. Cost me 2000peso’s for a month’s membership.
Fitness First – Changed to golds/worlds gym when I was there so I couldn’t check prices or join up, would be the best option.

Accommodation:
Stayed in Tune, highly recommended, bit of a shock on the first day at how small the room was, but it was perfect, only hotel that would have better logistics is Marriott. Quest would also be a good option. I would recommend staying near Ayala mall as mango square doesn’t have many good food or gym options also taxing it to ayala at dinner time is a pain. Taxi at midnight to mango square from ayala only takes 5min.

Food:
Ayala has many good options.

Night life:
Liv – only busy on weekends, I don’t like the place, I only went here once to meet a tinder girl who turned out a bit chubby so I taxied it back to j ave.
J Ave – busy every day, get there around 12, in my option the weekend is the worst 2 days for J Ave due to it being flooded with Korean men. J Ave is full of working girls, i didn’t have any issues as they know i don’t pay from last trip so completely ignored me. It is not as easy to pull here as people think due to it being a sausagefest almost every night and due to all the working girls, apparently the bouncers face control the Filipinas as they dont spend any money.
MO2 – nice place for a chilled date as you can sit outside and the band is good, the club inside is ok but I didn’t like the music or the setup.

Girls:
All the Filipinas I met were great fun, I had some of the most free flowing dates ever, no drama at all this trip. Most of them knew what I was up to and enjoyed it.

The Korean girls are borderline impossible to pull, I saw one short white guy on a Saturday night dance with one and the next day he said he did pull her, she was very drunk, so I guess it is possible. I got blown out by all Korean girls almost instantly upon approaching, even the ones I catch checking me out would just walk away when I approached them. The last few days of my trip I just ignored them and went after the Filipinas. If I ever go back I will try to day game them or just collect numbers when in J Ave but I don’t see this being too successful either.

For a 1 or 2 week trip Cebu is the perfect gaming location.

Interesting point about basing yourself near Ayala too, since traffic wouldn't be much of a concern at night to get around.

I felt Tinder was the most effective online tool here, compared to Manila, Jakarta or BKK. Great quality and quantity.

Those Koreans are a hard nut to crack hey. Very much stick to their own, which is no good for us.

I'm in an LTR with a Chinese girl here (Black guy). Would have been impossible without the language. I think that would go a long way - but maybe not since Koreans are known to keep with their own.

I was recently told by someone that Koreans have only been traveling out of their country for about the last 10 years. I am starting to take a dislike to them. They are loud, snobby and invade your space inconsiderately.

In my apartment complex, one morning I came out and one of the Korean students was SITTING ON MY MOTORCYCLE talking on his cell phone.
I walked over near him with a questioning look on my face and pointed at my motorcycle and he got off it.

IN the cafe where I work on my laptop, I had a coffee on the seat next to me to prevent me spilling it into computer. It was one of those big communal tables.

A group of Korean girls came in, and one of them wanted to sit there. I would usually offer to move the stuff if someone looks like thy need the chair and I have a few seconds to react, but she just picked up my shit without asking and moved it.

Chinese are generally the most disliked for their financial success and rudeness, but I think even they have better superficial manners than these kids.

I had a very kind Korean-American landlord in Hawaii when I was in grad school, but that might have been more Hawaiian-American culture bound.

I am not surprised everyone is having a tough time gaming Koreans. One of my best friends is Korean and after listening to the stories he tells me of growing up there, no wonder most Koreans are xenophobic and seemingly want nothing to do with foreigners.

See the world through their eyes for a moment. What do they likely see when they see you?

Is it:

A) "exciting exotic older guy with awesome lifestyle, connections, glint in his eye, bedroom skillz, discretion, and finesse"

Or is it...

B)"Another washed up horny old white guy looking for cheap sex in the Philippines (who probably doesn't even realise I'm a girl from a developed country)"

I'm not labelling you as either btw - just asking socratic questions to spark discussion. As an older guy you could position as either A or B, depending on your appearance and vibe.

Korean social circle is very tightly interwoven. Reputation is hugely important. When studying in Phils they will make a point of sticking with other Koreans. Before they've got to the club they've probably been to a Korean restaurant with friends, maybe even sung some Korean songs at KTV. Probably meeting Korean dudes from their social circle later.

How does a white guy there for notches with Phils girls fit into this reality? Of course, he doesn't.

They aren't snobs... they just want nothing to do with what they think you represent. It would be social death, as you mentioned.

You *could* bag one, it's doable, but you have to play it in a way that isn't going to trip one of her many "deal-breaker" switches. Any whiff of being a whore-monger, or even just an A-player there for filipina notches, and it's game over.

The question is, are you willing to position yourself such that she's drawn to you instead of avoidant.

Definitely a real challenge. Doable though. Afterall... they're studying in Phils, so they're not exactly moneyed Korean high-society.

Another thought - they probably seem more desirable because they're exotic in that environment. They've got that refined 'Korean' look amid a sea of tropical island chicks, but put them in Seoul or London or whatnot and maybe they wouldn't stand out much.

Strangely enough, korean girls who go to PI to study English are widely thought of as the biggest sluts by native Koreans in the motherland. Alot of them sleep with only the guys in their cliques, because they sure as hell aren't going to get with any low class Filipinos (their thoughts). When they go back to Korea they revel in anonymous sex because they can finally fuck a dude without constantly having to see him around everywhere.

I've converted korean girls in and from the Philippines before but I speak the language and heritage is mostly korean. Not saying it's impossible but as some former commenters said its a very uphill battle due to the unwillingness to blow up their extremely small and tight knit social circles.

Why would you even want to focus on these girls in PI anyway when there are so many cute pinay girls around? Strictly a pride thing?
