The GTR is brutally fast but also completely unrefined. By the time you're that age you may not appreciate listening to the car sounding like it's breaking in half every time you move ten feet. Considering the price you pay you'd think they'd have tried to make the cabin sound a little less like a coffee can shaken around with heavy chain inside. It sounds worse than every pile of shit beater car I've ever been in and that is not a small sample size.

That car doesn't sound like that to me! It also is not a Mercedes S-Class AMG either, so I know what you mean. In partial disclosure I have driven rally cars for years, so that may be why I do not care for door blowing silent cars.

Besides, I have no need for a poosymobile. An S Class would just be.... trouble.....you know what I mean.

Well, sound deadening material would add a ton of weight and slow it right down. Kinda counterproductive in a performance vehicle, right?

I've only ever had one quiet car, my Subaru. It's nice to be able to talk normally at highway speeds and hear details in music. As for my other vehicles, well, I just wear earbuds.

To the GTR sucks peeps:

GTRs offer bang for the buck, they're made to be hooned. It's like a slut in a tight dress and heels, just asking to get approached. Judging the GTR for luxury or comfort is hamster. Anyone saying Corvette (cheap plastic American) or Porsche can try to argue from the rear view mirror.

For some strange reason I get more fun from driving shitty cars fast than a sports car. The feeling of knowing the little minivan might tear apart at 115 any moment is exciting.
