The title of this thread is pretty misleading. I may be echoing some of the other comments here, but as far as I can tell, OG didn't get played. My definition of getting played is that a guy who due to lack of experience and/or savvy, has a women do harm to him, either financial or otherwise. OG may have had some feelings for this girl, and may still have some feelings, but other than that, I feel to see any harm in anything this girl did. She actually did him a huge favor, because she is obviously not relationship material and OG dodged a bullet. The simple lesson learned is not to LTR a girl who has numerous red flags.

Went through one of these spells myself back in the nineties. Hooked up with a real looker that ended up cheating on me with a lesbian, but I was blue pill then and since I was getting a freak every night in bed (she did things that could make Belladonna blush), I didn't care. I wanted the security of a relationship then. Now I look back and think why didn't I screw around more when I had dozens of women ages 18-26 at my beck and call?!? That said, if you really want her back you may get your wish in a few years. Such women tend not to be stable. At some point when you're older she'll probably be free and seek you out, and you'll fall back into the same thing. With maturity, you will then think "OMFG! I thought SHE was relationship material?! LOL. This is a booty call." This happened to me. It's like listening to an old song from when you were a teen and thinking "This is idiotic. How did I think this was brilliant artistry?!"

And if you do want to settle down with this type woman in the future (NOT recommended), you're gonna need to bring a boatload of drama to keep her interested -- constant fights, drinking, flirting in front of her, etc. You'll have to be a "challenge." Do you really want to live that life? It usually precludes success.

What hurts the most in these cases is knowing the women in question was looking elsewhere while you were locked into her emotionally. Seems cold, doesn't it? But...how many times has the reverse been true? You left a woman's place, only to take a call from a hot piece you were thinking about sexing up?

4. after fucking the shit out of her repeatedly, she never brings up being exclusive and still likes to keep her "time to herself"
5. Over time, she relates stories of former boyfriends, lovers, experiences ,etc. ......and the cock count just goes higher and higher in your brain as you're keeping score. ( I deduced one girl I was banging that she'd already fucked at least 4 guys just in the year I met her....this was including me .....and that was just from what she told me)

Women like this usually end up bad mouthing ex boyfriends and the way the breakups happened because , most often, it was the particular slut in question who was cheating, decided to move on, the boyfriend ( read beta ) had a meltdown. Then, since the woman either can't handle the guilt and/or there's no way she's going to own up to the fact that she was cheating and it was her fault the relationship ended, she resorts to ad hominem character attacks on her former ex.....ie, it was his fault....couldn't have been mine.

Oftentimes, women will just tell you these things either covertly or overtly.

These women from my life who have had these above mentioned attributes had no tats, weird piercings, etc. However, they were careerist women and by most definition sluts that were NOT to be trusted in any relationship.
