This theory that devastating war where a huge % of the men are killed leading to hotter women because the remaining men can be picky and only breed with the hottest women seems to be widespread.

I have thought of it in relation to Colombia as well. Vietnam too...

I am Russian form Russia and I haven't been back since 2009 and the Russian girl will choose "sugar daddy with means" over "hot guy" any time. You can be as ugly as a gorilla ... and must "have means" and your personality means very little.
