Camp Pendleton, right outside of San Diego and Orange County would be my first choice if I HAD to go to the military and I did get to pick. But I would strongly recommend against it. All my friends in the military hate it.

Military is hit or miss depending entirely on your base. I met a bunch of marines who were stationed in Bulgaria for a year and were just on an absolute tear. But when that year was up you get reassigned, and it can be anywhere from a place like Estonia where you slaughter hot blondes every night to a place an African country where a large percentage of the population has HIV

I spent two years there. A lot of guys would head south to T.J. or PCB, and bitched about chicks shooting them down for being military. Me and my crew rolled north to Laguna/Huntington Beaches, Irvine, and Hollywood Blvd. We were gold up there.

That's friggin' bullshit. I would have reenlisted to been stationed in Bulgaria. Lol. Some cats catch all the breaks. I did spend a year in Okinawa and sailed to different countries from there, so I can't complain.

The Air Force and Army has the best duty stations, with a few landmines thrown in, like Ft. Hood, or anywhere in Kansas. The Navy has Japan, and well, the Marines basically got 3 main bases. Make it to embassy duty, though, and the world is your oyster.

If you join fight tooth and nail to get stationed abroad. A lot of hands go down when they look for guys to go overseas. From a swooping standpoint, this makes the military tolerable. If stateside, make sure you have a vehicle to get away from base on weekends.

What base is best is kind of irrelevant since you have 0 choice in the deal.

Agreed.

Being in the military is seen as a negative to many of the girls in San Diego.

The best way to control where you are assigned is to have a skill that makes you a necessity at that specific location. Have that shill going in. If you speak any other languages, it's a great way to ensure you'll be stationed abroad.

That being said, the two best places girl wise I was ever at were Pensacola and Key West. In Key West they train divers. If you are scuba certified before you start that would be your foot in the door there.

Good Luck.

Aloha!

Read carefully...

DONT GO ENLISTED, for the love of God. No reason to.

Go sign up and join ur hometowns college Air Force ROTC program. They will pay for your tuition and pay you a monthly stipend.

Even if you are DUMB as bricks gues what you can major in ANYTHING. So if your worried about not cutting University or school is not for you go major in PE! It is easy as shit and your doing gym stype stuff 85% of the time.

You will get a college degree and actually be making money and have a good job when you graduate.

Enlisted people dont make shit and are pretty much the Officers bitches doing all the grunt work making half the money as their O counterparts.

With how EASY it is to be an Officer through ROTC there is no reason / excuse to go Enlisted.

There are lots of reasons to join the military. To pay for college or make some money are perks, not reasons.

If your cool with being bossed around and have a hardon for guns go for it.

RE: Thinking of joining the military...
I've been thinking about joining the military to learn discipline, get in shape and satisfy my inner warrior but I don't want to join because I don't want to lose my freedom, have to follow bullshit orders, or fight in wars I don't agree with.

Does anyone know of a program where you can go through military training without having to join an army?

Looks like you need to deconflict your priorities there. You want an organization to develop "discipline" in you? That by definition is ceding your notion of "freedom."

I've been there and done that, and if you're approaching military service solely as a self-help program, you're not going to be of much service to anyone. There are all kinds of private fitness bootcamps that will better suit your whims.

To GetEm... Just make sure you're joining for the right reasons, and pick a decent MOS/job. You can't voluntarily reclass until you've done two years and THEN extend/re-enlist.

As for poon, if you're willing to search for it, you will find it. Europe and Asia can be total fuck-fests if you know how to game. Stateside, as long as you can adapt to "country" culture, you'll be fine. Very few bases have super-convenient urban access. Since you mentioned that you're chill with married women, infidelity is sickeningly (to me) rampant among military females. So if you have game in hardship locations, even including Iraq and Afghanistan, you can get a piece if you're willing to cross that line.

Yeah, I'll PM you my parents contact info. They'll whip your ass into shape and drill the discipline of a skilled Ninja and Navy Seal on you!

When I was 7, I went to a private school that required a uniform with shirt and tie. If my white shirt was not impeccable and pressed (by me) and so much as one single wrinkle or stain was found during morning inspection, an ass whipping and no TV that night! Not to mention any grade below an A- was an automatic lock-up in my room for the weekend with NO TOYS or friends that can come visit me! It was boot camp at the age of 7!

My parents were no joke! The ass whippins I got would give them prison time in modern American society.

Cheating is rampant amongst all military members. It has nothing to do with being in the military, it's because people cheat when there is distance involved, and are even more likely when there is stress or boredom. It becomes basically a guarantee when the people involved are young.

My level of game isn't near that of Mixx, but I my dad is a Baptist preacher. "Beatings will continue until discipline improves." LOL. Maybe there is something to this upbringing and game?

Maybe, My father was ex Navy and Airforce. He made me polish all the copper pipes in the basement once a week and ran our house like it was the engine room on a destroyer even down to my mom replicating military food.lol

No joke, my parents forced me to read and talk about current events on the Wall Street Journal and New York Times when I was 10 years old EVERY SUNDAY, and I would have to discuss it in ENGLISH AND SPANISH!!

What does a 10 year old in 2011 do?

A male: Update his status on Facebook...about the latest 1st person shooter game.

A female: Post on her Facebook wall what a bitch her mom is for not allowing her to go to the Bieber concert!

I would have been castrated and fed my balls for even thinking what kids get away with today!

I'm taking notes for when I become a father. I had a soft upbringing and now I have a lot of catching up to do. What else did your parents do that had positive effects on your upbringing.

@sardino

Trust me, you'd be sent to prison for raising your kids "old school" in modern America.

My 16 year old cousin called her mom (my first cousin) a BITCH to her face right before my eyes a few months ago!

Parents can no longer lock up their kids in a room for a weekend without being charged for emotional abuse by Children and Families agents.

RE: Thinking of joining the military...
Spent 9 years active duty Air Force and many more years as a part-timer in the Air National Guard. I would recommend going into the military for many reasons but the least of which would be for chicks. Definitely recommend going in as an officer but if you can't, you have to ask yourself what you want to do and get out the most out of it. Each service has it's pluses and minuses and what job you do within each service has a big impact on lifestyle, promotions, etc.... . If you do go in, milk Uncle Sam for all he's worth with all of the education and training opportunities available to you.

To answer your question about women. I was stationed at Mather AFB, CA; Castle AFB, CA, Grand Forks AFB, ND; Little Rock AFB, AR; Yokota AB, Japan, and Dyess AFB,TX. Some of these were real shit holes but guess what? I got more pussy than a tampon at each place. Not only the locations but the places I was sent on TDY (Temporary Duty) for anywhere from 3 day to 4 months provided that much more action. Yes, some women will stay away from you because you are military and there are women who are military groupies. And let's not forget the women who are in the military themselves, some of the biggest freaks and ho's I've ever met.

Getting a piece of ass as a military member will be the least of your worries.

RE: Thinking of joining the military...
I feel you Mixx.

At 10 years old I was presented my first rifle. Dad taught me weapon discipline, and took me hunting that season. The next season I was allowed to go out on my own. Can you imagine now how many overprotective parents would even allow a gun in the house?

At 13 I was operating a morter mixer.

The only paper we had in the house was encyclopedia's and National Geographic magazines. For fun me and my bro used to split firewood. Parent's now wouldn't even let kids touch a go-devil. We had dirt bikes with the only rule was to wear a helmet. And to be back before dark. That let them know we were alright. After dark would have meant a search party.

Now and again I overstepped my bounds. Like the time mom found a molotov cocktail under my bed. I got beat for having something that could have burnt the house down and for using her lamp oil to make it. LOL. It was worse when they figured out what the salt peter and pharmaceutical grade sulfer was for. Whip

I wouldn't trade my upbringing or military service for anything. It made me the man I am today. God. Corps. Family. Country.

Don't do it. Out of hundreds of friends I have that went to the military, not one likes it. With your lifestyle you should be out contributing to society in other ways (like keeping guy's wives happy!) Smile

my number one reason to join isn't about girls. its just that im building a little stable of women that i could mess with whenever and im finally getting comfortable around women. i was just trying to see if i would be able to continue my little streak lol.

my main reason is to keep my life going im stuck doing nothing right now, been looking for jobs, but nothing has come up yet. plus they got some good benefits and i could go in as an E-3 already. i do have a hard on for guns, was thinking of going in as an infantry in the marines or army, but decided against it because there's no job after serving. ill probably be posting alot of threads to ask your guys opinions and stuff, hopefully i dont get annoying hahaha

I've been in the Army for two years.

Think about what you really want. Do want an adventure? Or are you thinking about a career down the line? The Army offers training that is transferable to the civilian world, the intelligence field in particular.
