Met a new chick who's vehicle was having issues close to my place. Got her number and hung out with her once. I was trying to hang with her today and sent her a text about dinner and hook and here was her long response:

"Maybe. To be honest thinking about the damage I have to come out of pocket to fix the car or buy another, has money on my mind and it can't be made sitting around relaxing. I hate to keep saying we are going to hangout soon but unfortunately I have do what I have to do because I have no one but myself to depend on that's why I haven't said much about the next time we do hang out. But I'll see how much I get done today and might take a break later."

What is a proper response to get her to still come out?

When did you meet her, when did you hangout with her ?

How did the first meet go ? I'm assuming you didn't have sex, did you do anything physical at all ?

There isn't a response, she made the decision (a lengthy explanation) she has more important things to worry about OR she's just leading you on.

Either way, don't respond right now, follow up with her next week.

In the mean time keep hunting for other girls.

The first meet went like this: We went to get appetizers and drinks at a nearby sports bar, and then to my place to watch a movie and drink some wine. There was some kino while the movie went on and I proceeded to start kissing on her shortly before the movie ended. She stopped me and said she just met. I took her back home that night. Home is about 5 minutes from my place

Ended up giving her a ride to work the next morning and this time she decided to give me a kiss after dropping her off.

My goal is to close on next meet.

Well at least this seems to be going in the right direction. You should just try again on the next date, after all "we just met" is not something about having a boyfriend or not wanting anything. Step up your game and you can score next time.

I think you said something to her that makes her think there's a chance you're going to pay for her car to be fixed.
