And the results were not surprising in the least,

Got a lot of hits from women who were not "matched" to me at all. The few messages I did send out to women were not only received well but I set up a few dates (nice). The one date I got was with a girl who looks like a solid 7, maybe an 8. We'll find out on Saturday.

For the record, my entire profile has very little info on it.

I'm certainly not shredded now, but ugh I wish someone told me that I'd get better hits and less BS if I put a shredded shirtless pic onto my profile.

I know some friends who are pretty jacked and completely resist doing this. I am not jacked but get better results than them on these things. I try to tell them "Just put up a beach pic!" and they're like "no that's weird".

Yeah I'll be honest there was very little gaming involved at all. I just sent a message that said,

"Hey! How are you doing?"

That was all it took. Talked a little bit about ourselves and life in the city and then just escalated it to a coffee date.

If you go with the straight bathroom mirror pic some chicks maybe dig it but your turning off a good portion of chicks who think your too into yourself, that bathoom pics are cheesy, etc. I even see some girls profiles that say don't even bother contacting me if you have a bathroom mirror pic. Thats why I agree with other posters, if you want a shirtless pic go with a pic thats doing something naturla ie at the beach. I had a pic of me working on my motorcycle in the garage with my shirt off, I felt that was not bad as it wasn't staged it was me and a buddy working on my bike.

I've never been jacked but used to have a solid 6 pack and barbie bones as my girls calls it hip bones and lower stomach muscles. I didn't really notice it having a huge affect one way or the other. Never did an official experiment so to say but tried with those pics on and off and didn't change much how often I was contacted or anything. I'd occasionally get some messages like nice abs or something but iddn't really change how much I was contacted or anything

It's not a bathroom mirror. Just me standing in front of my bedroom mirror. Room looks good, but nothing special.

@Jamaicabound, good idea. I missed my chance this year. I'm going to Florida in January so I might have some time to cut up in December if I decide to. Either way I'm satisfied with the results.

Yeah i can attest to this 100%.

I never used to like doing it but i just put one up and the messages started to flow in and my response rate tripled.
That being said the average girl online is kinda chubby and gross.

I'm currently on a break from girls till November but when i go back i'll be doing this to great success.

I definately get the desire to have one, if you work hard to stay in shape like they say if you got it flaunt it, plus even girls who say dont message me with a bathroom mirror pic probably dig you if your in shape but out of "principal" wont mesage you.

Doesn't even necessarily have to be a beach pic have your roomate take a pic of you laying on the couch without a shirt relaxing, just anything but a selfie in the mirror as those come off as cheesy. The one way you can get past that I've found is kidn of poke a little fun at yourself or joke about it. I think for a while I had a bathroom mirror pic and had a couple different titles. I think one time I titled it "shameless bathroom mirror pic" and another itme I think I said something along the lines of "i hear a bahtroom mirro selfie is a requesite to be on POF so here's mine" Just something that shows you have a sense of humor and aren't the my shit dont stink type or too full of yourself.
