Fit girls often like fit guys.

Having a good body would be good.

Having the knowledge and ability to help them improve their physique would be good.

Being able to discuss diet and food strategies would be good.

Being able to cook would be good.

These girls dedicate their lives to fitness, so, knowledge of fitness is often very helpful.

Of course, the most important "special technique" is always -- Have Game!

Giovonny hit the nail on the head.

If you want to date a fit girl it really helps to be fit and active.

In addition to being in good shape it's helpful to have active hobbies. Get into backpacking, cross country skiing, mountain climbing, kayaking, surfing, whatever. A girl who's fit will have no problem adapting to whatever activity it is you do and it's a great way to bond quickly with someone. It's not a great idea to do those activities specifically to meet women - they're usually dominated by men and the women who are there get passed around amongst the top guys. Instead think of it as developing a lifestyle you can bring a girl into. They're all relatively solo activities that can be done with just a partner so once you're competent you can teach a girl what's up without bringing her around the guys who might tempt her away.

Agreed. Invest in an unusual solo activity that requires some technique and not brute force. I like hiking because it requires some tolerance of the outdoors/elements, knowing where to step and outdoorsmanship beyond just being in good shape. A girl in pretty trainers and yoga pants is often humbled and complaining be a semi difficult hike.

Also, if you are fit, consider lying about how you got that way. Make up some sort of crazy diet or rep routine that you use.

All great advice.

The biggest thing overall? Be ACTIVE and be reasonably in shape. You don't have to be the lowest body fat guy, the bulkiest guy, or the strongest guy, but you can't expect to date a fit girl and be a complete slob/fatty.

I'd say that amongst the athletes at my competitive level of the sport that my girl and I both play, I'm easily in the bottom third body/fitness-wise but I'm just as social if not more so than the vast majority of the guys out there. I am pretty poor at getting to the gym and my diet is only so so even at my peak fitness. However, I'm active and go body surfing/swimming, diving, bike riding, hiking, etc... so none of the girls would see me as a lazy guy. They would see over my lower level of fitness compared to the other guys, many of who are a one or two trick pony.

RE: Athletic Girls
I've noticed at least two subgroups of gym girls, excluding the fatter girls trying to lose weight. You have the fitness chicks, who are more about being slim and looking good. Then there are the athletic/competitive girls who are more likely to get obsessed with Crossfit or do powerlifting. They can get a little beefy and act slightly masculine at times. With some of them you may be unsure if they are secretly lesbian. There is a tendency towards butterfaces. I think Gio is talking more about the first group. The second group is a bit weird. You would think they would be all about health, but then when you talk to them you find out that they also smoke weed, eat Doritos, or party on the weekends. They have sort of a work hard/play hard mentality.

If only you knew how bad things really are.
