Then I finished up with pics of Watson, one with long hair saying 'Before Feminism', then 'After Feminism' including that ugly pic of her in the scarf Michelin posted, then a 'Seems Legit' pic.

I'll see what the response is.

FB has been amusing. I'm surprised how many 'adult' women seem deeply-bonded with the Harry Potter Universe.

I couldn't get anyone to explain to me why I should take Emma Watson's view on anything seriously.

I was told 'she's a great actress, that's why.'

Seeing this little viper mince around the UN and give her speech has been nothing less than sickening.

The worst part is to see that carp-faced rat flunky Ban Ki Moon, the biggest ass-sucking toady that has ever graced the Secretary-General's chair. Seems that when he's not occupied with kissing America's ass he's lining up to eat from its cultural cesspool.

Is there a difference between feminism and gender equality? If they really wanted men to get on board they should just scrap the word feminism and just replace it with gender equality. Why is she a proud feminist and not a proud "gender equalist?"

Watson makes a good attempt at trying to include men in supporting gender equality. She even brings up the growing suicide epidemic among men and also mens identity issues in formative years.

The problem is that gender equality is an oxymoron. We are different by nature and social conventions will never change that. Sex will ALWAYS sell. Men will always get turned on by sexy girls and girls will always get turned on by dominant men. The world has to keep turning and Emma can't stop it.

Developed nations have overfeminized to the point where women have more of an advantage rather than being oppressed. Her speech is much more applicable to developing nations than developed.

I read through the Facebook newsfeed while I'm taking my morning dump. It started out as a tradition to see what friends in distance locations were doing in their lives, but now it has turn into recurring humorous posts (not by intent) by only a few people. I laughed that people ate this thing up because it really didn't say anything at all.

What a load of parroted political bollocks this speech was. I had to shut it off the first few times when she started "Feminist, by definition...." HAAAAH

She tried to make it about the actually underprivileged girls at the end as an afterthought. The main speech was about her, her friends, and other girls like them...

Also, read and hear her say this passage "I want men to take up this mantle. So their daughters, sisters and mothers can be free from prejudice but also so that their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human too—reclaim those parts of themselves they abandoned and in doing so be a more true and complete version of themselves."

Tell me it doesn't remind you of the "I have a Dream speech". It is phrased the same way to subconsciously illicit that response from the audience. Whoever wrote that part was very crafty.

"I began privately funded company years ago working on a way to more efficiently and cheaply desalinize ocean water, and they have just made a breakthrough that lowers the cost by 90%...could be used in places like California or foreign countries......"

Yes. With men being forced into a white knight role, all these campaigns focus on men aiding women.

Didn't we learn from the whole "Gamergate" fiasco that 4chan has already been compromised when the Feds combed it for child porn? They are already lurking around in there for all I know.

They have already been set up to take the fall. A "9/11" scale of calamity has to happen to completely lock up the web with across the board censorship and nude photos might be it.

Women will scream in hysteria while the men will sit on their hands. I can't see how else they put internet censorship when this opportunity is so advantageous to use to push it forward.
