Men understand consequence - let me rephrase that - real men who have experienced battle, strife and violence first hand.
The first rule of violence is overwhelming force - they guy probably has an 85 IQ. He's a fucking animal, like no one knew this?

If he wanted to send her a message, he could have given her a Sean Connery smack. Assuming this video is 100% legit and untampered with, Rice took things way too far. This is pretty bad and Rice deserves more than just a two-game suspension.
Just goes to show that too many dudes join RVF to hate on women rather than learn how to fuck them...
Ray Rice is a Rutgers graduate. I highly highly doubt he is low IQ. I know guys that had classes with him. Before this drama they told me how fucking smart he is and all these wonderful things about him. I asked one of them a while back about Ray, and he had a hard time talking about it. It was like a close friend died or something, he was extremely dissapointed.
One thing about Ray Rice I always thought was interesting was that he once said on Jim Rome in an interview that he had never had a concussion. Not in college nor in the pros. When I heard that I laughed out loud. I thought that was complete bullshit. It's possible to have a slight level 1 concussion and not get many symptoms out of it, hence why some players can pass the concussion protocol test quickly and get back out there.
CTE's biggest issue is the way it affects judgement and decision making in the front part of the brain. For a guy that never had a concussion "allegedly", he certainly made a decision so terrible, considering his great intelligence and spotless reputation.
Then again, maybe he was an asshole that none of us knew?
Not to argue semantics, but did Rice actually graduate from Rutgers? He did leave for the NFL after his junior season and was never redshirted.
Rutgers football does pride itself on graduating a very high number of its athletes (especially football players) so I would not be surprised if he took the steps after his junior season to finish his degree.
Good question. I have found this on a scouting report:
Quote:As a junior, Rice totaled 1,332 yards and 21 scores on the ground. In the season opener vs. White Plains High, he gained 105 yards on just four carries. He also excelled on the basketball team, starting at point guard. He led the team to the state finals in 2003-2004. He graduated with a 3.7 GPA.
Rice enrolled at Rutgers in 2005, turning down scholarship offers from Arizona State, Penn State and Syracuse. Rice earned Freshman All-American honors as he totaled 1,120 yards and five touchdowns on 195 carries (5.7-yard average) and 1,185 all-purpose yards, despite starting just five of 12 games that year. His 1,120 yards set a school freshman record and he was the team's first 1,000-yard rusher since 1994.

Ray Rice is no dummy ... telling TMZ Sports he's GOING BACK TO COLLEGE so he can finally get his degree.
The Baltimore Ravens running back was out in NYC last night when he revealed that he recently enrolled in online classes at Rutgers University in an effort to lock up his diploma.
The 27-year-old admits he's still a long way from donning the cap and gown ... but says he's determined to finish what he started back in 2005.
We've learned ... Rice is currently taking 4 courses:
-- Intro to Logic
-- Public Speaking
-- Employment Law
-- Diversity at work

So far that is all I can find for now. I would like to know what his major was. I recall one of those guys that knew him said he got into Rutgers on his own without a scholarship and walked on to the team. You cannot have an IQ of 80 something and have a 3.7GPA in high school, nor get into Rutgers and work 3 years with an IQ of 90s either.

And this is why no one should care.
Why people are white-knighting for a wild broad who gets the tingles thinking about how her man can take care of business and doesn't take shit from anybody is beyond me.
She was an idiot for marrying him. I imagine she did it to protect the gravy train. And now, thanks to TMZ, that gravy train has ended or been seriously damaged. So in the end, she should have had some self respect and not married him. And sued in court, etc.
They probably shouldn't have married each other, but they did. We can guess at their reasons. The fact is that Janay Rice could've called off the engagement, sued Ray's ass for half his future earnings, and have been the next great heroine of Feminism. She probably could've won a seat in Congress with all the residual fame.
But the fact is that his wife is against the decision. Some chick on twitter posts that "she's so sad to read Janay Rice's statement"
https://twitter.com/marikatogo/status/50...5706344449
Why is she sad? Because a woman is making a statement about what she wants for her life?
No, she's sad because Janay Rice's desires don't line up with hers. Janay Rice, whatever her reasons, wants to move on, but the rest of the world wants "justice" regardless what the victim wants. Women are fully capable of managing their own lives, except in the case of domestic abuse, and then they need the full protection of the State and Society, whether they want it or not.
Quote:If your intentions were to hurt us, embarrass us, make us feel alone, take all happiness away, you've succeeded on so many levels.
Seems to me that Janay Rice sees right through every SJW and white knight's motivations. In all the discussion I see around Ray Rice, Janay Rice's statement is being almost universally ignored.

Rice was set to go to Syracuse in 2005, until they got rid of Pasqualoni as head coach, then Rice switched his commitment to Rutgers, so he was always on scholarship. I also came across an article when then Rutgers AD Tim Pernetti asked Rice after his Super Bowl victory if he was on pace to get his degree. Though that would've been in 2013.
I hope he has or does complete his degree, cause he'll need it after this shitstorm.

Great point, the one who was harmed wants to move on and yet the public wants to continue to make it an issue. They will claim that if her situation is not treated with the utmost care, etc. then other less "famous" people will have lessor chances to get justice. Just sort of nonsense. Also, that maybe they were not brave enough to get justice in their situation so they want it vicariously through someone else. As usual, women want someone else to be the leader.
There was a woman on Chris Matthews who said something that had Ray Rice punched a man then he wouldn't have gotten the counseling program he was admitted to instead of jail time. WTF? How would she know, his fiancee/wife was fully supportive of him. That was the only way he got to avoid jail time. But the lady forgets that. Because that wouldn't help her position.
I have been feeling this way for a while, but I am pretty much done with Western women. I operate under the no victim mentality. That it takes 2 to tango. You got into a fight with some asshole at the bar, both of you are at fault, you both decided to go to the bar. If one of you didn't go your fight doesn't happen.
You have the right of way and are crossing the street but texting and get hit by a car, sure legally the driver is at fault, but in reality you were not being responsible. No victims both responsible.
Ray Rice beats his girl, is that the first time? Or were there other signs before that. Because if there were and she chose to ignore them, well then she has to own the problem also.
