I've been wanting to have a go at Essex for a while now. Do you have some data to share on Southend? I usually stay in Central London; how would you deal with logistics there? Get a hotel?

^ Was there some years ago, so useless to write data sheet now. However for what it's worth:

Southend has a large promenade on the beach full of pubs, and a couple of clubs parallel to it.

Definitely get a room for yourself, this is what screwed me over since i had a girl literally tell me "ok come on let's go" but we had no where to go, and she was staying at her parents herself. This is since I was a stupid backpacker staying in London and too stingy to get a room. These essex girls in my experience - no way they're gonna go for the teenage stuff like fuck on the beach or at the hostel with 20 people around and so on. Get a room.

Another place that was a blast was Chelmsford - another essex town, with a couple of cool clubs and a great essex atmosphere and girls, if you know what I mean.

However Chelmsford is just a big industrial town. Southend is much more of an anthropological experience.

Only caveat is that this was some years ago. Things may have changed since then, scenes do change, so take what I write with a grain of salt. Not that essex girls changed, just the party places and so on.

Also, didn't see any excess of fatties there AT ALL. Mostly hot essex girls. However once again - maybe in the past few years, they started eating more..


Newcastle - was there last NYE. Tons of party places. Some fatties sure, but a lot of hot ones too. But didn't pull. Was definitely not at my prime vibe that night, so by no means this implies that you wouldn't.

Brighton - was also there last year. there's some good places near the odeon theatre, forgot the name of the street, but it's famous. Plus tons more on the beach.

In all those places (as well as the rest of england except london) - expect some whacked, whacked british girls. almost all of them dressed to the 9's, as far as body and face - some super super hot and some nothing to write home about.

The key thing to remember about this scene is that it's completely whacked. It takes some getting used to. Chances are if you haven't seen it before, you'll just sit there speechless for the first couple of nights. It feels a bit like a nutter house but all the mental patients are chicks dressed to the 9's and some very hot. But almost all of them act mental.

That slag train scene can be insane. I've been out in Croydon a few times (think the place was called Loop) and had scantily clad girls coming up to me and grinding like pros. They mostly weren't very attractive though.

One of the times I was in Brighton, I went with a friend who doesn't party much, but is extremely good looking. He had one beer too many. As he was model like looking, a girl pulled him over to have a sit with her at a table near the dance floor. 5 minutes into the interaction, he out of nowhere started throwing up right then and there. Messed up the whole table. Girl was shocked, and unfortunately for him, the bouncer witnessed it all. You know how it is in the UK nightclubs.. he was swiftly and decisively dragged out of the club and thrown to the street. Was whining about it with tears in his eyes the entire next day, as the girl was into him and was looking nice, and not being a party guy he was really excited about it and felt he missed it out badly. Well, at least he missed out spectacularly LOL

Oceania isn't that in Croydon, I have been there..

There's an Oceana in Kingston upon Thames, which I've been to. It's massive, full of hot sluts and idiots. Very aggressive vibe though. There's more aggression and tension in places like Croydon and other areas on the periphery. Lots of guys cockblocking or picking fights. I was standing outside Oceana talking to a girl at 3am when this hooligan looking lad walked up to me, stared at me and called me a dickhead ten times in a row hoping I would confront him and get into a fight. Just walked away.

There's also an Oceana in Watford. Would like to revisit, but between terrible logistics and the time it takes to get out there it never seems worth it when the local meatmarket will do.

When you absorb that film, you will see what the deal is with London.

notting hill carnival is happening in under 2 weeks, its the biggest one outside of rio

good music, good food and lots of alcohol

and loads of hot chicks of course.

riots gone guys, posh totty you need to work your way through the horsey set. where i was born (home counties) has a ton of girl-next-door-in-a-mansion-off-their-face-at-the-weekends-casual-drug-user stereotypical-upper-class totty, hell i even went to school with some of them.

I´ve lived near the place mentioned above...Warrington.

I am in South American currently. I can tell you now that it´s more dangerous going out (at night) in Warrington and similar towns than in most parts of South America! And the women are much more likely to attack you if you so much as long at them ´wrong´. Most Brit girls who go out at night in these towns are like pond life.
