Anyone ever place a restraining order or a girl?

I'm seriously considering it due to the fact she knows where I live and she is threatening me. This is all happening because I want nothing to do with her.

Do I block her so that she gets the point (hasn't stopped messaging me) or continue to let her message me and not respond so that I may collect evidence

Edit/. Most important part is that she showed up at my house unannounced.

Sorry to hear about that. I have not ever had to do that.

But I imagine a very critical thing will be documenting. So I'd start organizing all the relevant info and making sure you have a back up of it.

Tell her/send her a text that she shouldn't in any form contact you ever again and tell her that if she does, you will report the threats to the police and get a restraining order.

You should if needed start by searching on the internet for the state you are in. You could also ask the police how to do it I suppose.

Sort of off-topic, but telling girls that you've had a stalker, that you've had to file a restraining order on a girl, that a girl traveled around the world to see you unannounced and uninvited (got that one from Roosh), is a reliable pussy wetter.

Not exactly unannounced, but one of my exes invited herself to come stay with me in SEAsia for AN ENTIRE MONTH in my first year here. She decided it was time to let me know after she'd already purchased the ticket.

I don't know, man. If you live in a county where the average response time for your local police department is incredibly slow then a restraining order won't do you too much good. Really, all it will do is add an additional charge ("Violating a Restraining Order") to whatever the bitch does when she shows-up; it's not an iron-clad document that will keep her away from you.

The best thing you can do is not engage with her. Getting a restraining order is engaging, blocking her so she knows you're blocking her is engaging. And of course, responding to any text or call is engaging.

To not engage is to literally ignore all communication and don't respond in any kind of way. That is truly stopping the dance. She will up the ante of course to try and get you to re-engage, but you must be strong enough to not respond.

She will eventually realize the dance is really over with you and she'll find another partner.

I've had a girl do this, but I simply ignored it at first. I fucked her maybe four times, that's it. I knew her from my social circle but there were quite a few degrees of separation. Anyway, when she would call or drive by my house I would ignore it. She wanted to "have another chance" she said so many times in the texts but I never responded to any of it. I stopped talking to her in the first place because she was hinting she wanted a relationship and basically told me she loved me so I told her I wasn't ready to get in a relationship again and that were better off friends, and then after that she texted me with an ultimatum saying that I either be in a relationship with her or were nothing.. She's sick. And that's where it all started. I only ignored it to a point but she showed up at my job twice and was somehow getting my brothers' phone numbers and calling them pretending to be someone else. They urged me to file a restraining order and it was granted but only in order for three months.. I guess they feel she will have gotten over it by then. The order has expired so technically it wouldn't be a crime for her to contact me but all she has done is like some of my pictures on Instagram(I don't follow her and she doesn't follow me, but she goes on it anyway).
So yea, restraining orders don't usually last forever, but I guess they help. Worth looking into.
