A week to play with in November
Mid-November I'll have 6 days to fly anywhere from London.

I was thinking somewhere warm (Morocco/Egypt) but the nightlife will be weaker. I considered Scandinavian countries but I rather go next year in the summer. In terms of city trips, I might try to see two different ones if you can think of any that are close by.

Anyone know if Spain/Portugal have decent weather around then? Barcelona/Valencia/Lisbon seem like fun.

All suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

RE: A week to play with in November
Malta.

-Lots to do.
-Great weather and beaches.
-Developed with great restaurants.
-Everyone speaks English (In fact, many students go there for the English Language School).
-A lot of history/culture there.
-Fairly concentrated nightlife, that's pretty good, as well as two casinos. It shouldn't be that bad in November, but the only downside is all of the "kids" there...18 and 19 year old idiots getting super drunk.

I went there 4 times, and always had a great time.

Thanks, I had never even considered it beforehand. You sure kids would be getting drunk there in November? I would imagine that most of them are in school then...

Yeah, november should be good to go. Still a number of tourist, especially from Eastern Europe, but not insane like the summer months.

Hank, are you on exchange this year? I was of the impression from prior posts you were a law student. If so congrats on what I assume is your last year. I'm articling at the moment which is surprisingly enjoyable.

Seriously...ha, ok.

They're not right out in the streets like Berlin, Bucharest, etc., but almost guaranteed there are escorts online any place you go. Not that it matters...I don't hate on P4P, but there are plenty of options there to not have to go that route.

I'm not a P4P guy haha, I just laughed at the thought of Cardguy trolling Europe for hookers.

Malta is becoming quite tempting. I'll look into flights this week.

RE: A week to play with in November
If you want sex and you only have a week it makes sense to go somewhere easy. If you are looking into short-distance don't consider temperature, even in Morocco the temperature in November will be no higher than 22-23 Celsius.

If you want a mix between easiness of girls and temperature, get as close to the Ecuator as you can. Go to West Africa, a week there gaming will be one of the most memorable experience of your life. If that is out of reach and you must stay in Europe, everywhere will be cold, even Southern Europe. All of Eastern Europe is a gamble with just a week, so Scandinavia is really your only option if you want a sure thing. If you want a gamble, go to an EE spot you always wanted to check out and play it out there. If you just want a fun game experience, maybe head out to Minsk and challenge yourself to approach girls you are scared shitless of. When I started game, a warm conversation with a 9 did more for me than banging a 7. If girls isn't a consideration, then just go wherever you are interested in culturally, that is different for every person. If you just want to relax with good weather and without going too far, then perhaps a pleasant 22 Celsius on the coast of Morocco would be alright.

It all depends on your objective.

RE: A week to play with in November
Sorry to revive this - I've been really busy lately - but I'm now between the following five places and have around 6 days:

Morocco (Marakesh and Rabat probably)
Copenhagen (and maybe a day trip to Aarhus?)
Stockholm
Barcelona
Malta

Any info on the weather in these places is especially appreciated, as well as gaming and if I'm spending too much/little time in each place etc.

Cheers.

You might also consider the Spanish owned Canary Islands off the cost of Morocco if you want a warm sunshine/game balance. They're mostly quite chavvy but the 'party' destinations do have a bit of a buzz year round. I was in Playa del Ingles on Gran Canaria one year in December and while not slammed busy, there were still enough bars and people to do some gaming. They will mostly be pretty ghetto people, though.

I'd recommend malta. The weather should be ok then. Barcelona is also another good option. If you decide on Malta, we can roll together because there is the possibility that I will be there around early to mid November

Nah man I think it's too chavvy and culturally vacuous for me.

Doce: are you Norwegian by any chance? What do you think about the region? (If I pick Malta then definitely, by the way).

A note on Scandinavia, the friendliest girls are in Finland and Norway. Denmark and Sweden are suprisingly bad for game.

I was in Malta a couple years ago during the summer and it was the biggest sausage fests that I've ever been to. Most venues seemed like gay clubs after 2:00 a.m cause there were hardly any girls and plently of horny Italian guys with low standards. Maybe it gets better during November in the off season.

Chavvy and culturally vacuous? I've never heard such things of the Canary Islands but yet again, I've never been there. Culturally they have a lot of their own thing going on, a bit like the Andalucians have within Spain.

I am not Norwegian. Most people who have been to Norway will tell you to forget it if your aim of visiting is just to get laid. You can meet Norwegians in their holiday spots, so why go their rather expensive country. To make it worse, it is more or less a one- city country for getting laid, mainly because of the small population. However, it you have cash to burn, it's worth a visit because in addition to the possibility of capturing a Norwegian flag, you get see a very beautiful country (summer visit is recommended, also moving as far north as possible)

When going to any place that is likely to be overrun by Italian tourist - cheap places with geographical proximity to Italy - the month of August, later part of July and early September are not the best time to visit. That's my personal opinion, some other person might disagree

Disregard Rabat , it's the equivalent of DC in the states . Government structures and embassies all over the city . Poor nightlife , cold women and cheesy people .

I highly recommend Marrakech . Affordable accomodation , you get to book a 4 star hotel with great standards at a reasonable price. Nightlife is awesome, one of the best in Africa if not in the whole MENA region.
You can warm up your night by hitting "Comptoir Darna" or "Highway" . If you're into clubs I strongly recommend "Actors" or "Theatro".

In terms of chicks , you'll be amazed how moroccan girls have this unique exotic-moorish beauty . Pulling should be easy if you go in soft and non-needy .

As for the other city I can recommend , definitely "Agadir" . It has a sunny and cloudless weather during November. (25 degrees celc.) average , great beaches along the region . Nice marina ,clubs and bars. A bit more pricey than Marrakech but definitely worth the visit. It should be a suitable place for you if you want to develop a tan ,chill and sip a cocktail on a private beach .

Finally , if you decide to extend your journey by 1 or 2 days ; Come visit Casablanca . I'll be happy to meet you and show you around.
