Setting up
Need help on house setup. Moving to a new apartment for college. Thinking of buying a couple of handles, mixers, cider, and wine. Have a couple paintings to put up as well. Got a ipod home music system.. gets loud of enough for a small pre-game.

List is so far:
wine glasses
bacardi
fireball
some generic dessert wine bottles
corkscrew
bottle opener
standard ciders (not the biggest beer fan)

any other suggestions? Anyone had tito's vodka - some roosher recommended it awhile back. Anything else to setup the apartment for girls?

Oh and is it bad to order cider in front of girls? Not the biggest fan of beer, but I can have whatever. I drink whiskey straight sometimes to avoid hangovers, but its not like I enjoy it.

RE: Setting up
-Patron, lime, salt (body shots)
-Deck of cards for games
-I didn't see shot glasses ?
-Juice mixers for sure.
-Get angry orchard - to put a shot of fireball in "Angry Balls"
-As for vodka Svedka is pretty decent so is Absolute.
-Ginger ale is a great all over mixer as well.
-Do you have a fair sized patio at all ?
-Beer bong

I'd never see myself ordering ciders in general let alone in front of a girl. Ordering whiskey straight or on the rocks is a pretty classy manly move.

RE: Setting up
Hookah is a good call if you have a patio. I personally don't do it, but a lot of girls really love it and it lets you have slow conversation without feeling awkward during silences.

Buy cheap booze and expensive booze. Save the nice shit for when you have attractive girls around. Expect the cheap booze to get used quickly.

Me personally, I would buy a case of 1000 solo cups and ditch the wine glasses. I would also buy a little wine rack, set it on a counter somewhere, and fill it with inexpensive bottles of red from Trader Joe's. For your guests, it's the subtle things about your home that really communicate your taste. Fortunately, college-aged girls generally can't tell if your taste is expensive or good.

I don't give a fuck what I drink in front of a girl. A few weeks ago, I was out with a girl and I ordered 3 mojitos at the same time. The girl protested and tried to stop the waitress...still ended up coming back to my hotel. If she cares what I drink so much that it affects her opinion of me, she can catch the next bus back to the shitty ostentatious corner of the universe where she fits in.

If you want a cider, man....drink a cider.

RE: Setting up
Vodka (cranberry, orange juice) and Red Wine should be at the top of your list. These are what any girl will drink.

A close 3rd is Whiskey. For whatever reason chicks will always drink one of these 3.

I would HIDE telling chicks you have beer. Beer takes too long to get buzzed, too much bloating, pissing etc...

An 1/8 of weed with a small pipe or have joints waiting and ready (most chicks won't hit bongs). An 8-ball of cocaine. <-- hot party girls like this

A roomy and comfy couch with a sizable coffee table are worth their weight in gold.

Always have your music set up with an easy click when you get back. Better leave it on the exact playlist and song when you leave so it is ready.

e-Cig pipe with flavors etc... lots of chicks will dig sitting on the couch with those

Something about being able to smoke indoors and drink keeps the party going better.

Hookah is good, just more hassle and prep.

High quality video camera on a tripod by your bed with a huge mirror mounted on the wall overlooking it.

RE: Setting up
I know small bar set-ups so I turned part of my kitchen into a small bar. I like having a variety of things to make so I keep a lot of things on-hand.

My old set-up (at least for liquor) was as follows:

- Vokda
- Gin
- Tequila
- Whiskey (Jack)
- Bourbon (Jim)
- Scotch (Johnny or Glenfiddich)

For wines, I'm looking at the following:

- Basic red (Cabernet Sauvignon)
- Basic white (Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio)
- Vermouth (any kind of dry white will do but some brands are specifically made as vermouth; don't pour any lady straight vermouth since it's meant as a mixer for a martini)

For liqueurs, I'd keep the following on-hand:

- Conitreau
- Grand Marnier

For mixers, I'd usually stock the following:

- Cranberry juice
- Pink grapefruit juice
- Pineapple juice
- Tomato juice
- Diet coke
- Club soda

If I wanted to go the fancy garnish route I'd also stock:

- Limes
- Lemons
- Oranges
- Celery

Glasses:

- Rocks
- Highball or Collins
- Martini
- Wine

Miscellaneous:

- Paring knives
- Cutting boards
- Bar spoons
- Mashers
- Fun plastic olive spears
- Napkins
- Three-piece Shakers (for easy shaken mixed drinks)
- Jiggers
- Measuring spoons
- Spill mats

If you have a small table, set it up on the patio with a few chairs. Have two empty glasses there with a wine bottle in the middle. Nothing says you or she have to smoke when you're outside; you can just have wine and admire the view.

RE: Setting up
from a pure game standpoint, you may want an easy thermostat (girls will take off their clothes quicker when it's hot). You will want your bedroom not to have any chairs in it (so she has to sit next to you in bed), easy access to lube and condoms, and any excuse to get her to your bed (see these pictures, watch a movie, charge your phone, see this painting)
