Haha i've noticed this, no homo but a lot of Australian guys just have it made. They have the only good qualities English men have, that old school cockney charm. But then they are just 10x more healthy and are happy.

Lol i totally agree, i became friends with two australian guys last year, one of them is in the army and the other is like search and rescue guy, they had a table next to me, one of them scored one night with a very young russian girl i remember she stayed with him couple of nights, the other just couldn t do it for the entire week, he was cool dancing with his mates , tried to hook him up one of those nights he was doing ok until alcohol kicked in and then he messed up. Honestly, feminist nonsense aside, Australia is a great place to live. Great beaches, parks, entertainment. It is pretty damn expensive & the women aren't great but I honestly wouldn't live anywhere else.

You probably have a 50/50 ratio of overweight guys & jacked guys - There really isn't any in between. Woman are around 80% overweight & 20% thin.

There are so many tourists though that you really don't even need to bother with the locals [If you don't want to]. The other funny thing about Aussie guys is that when they travel overseas they don't expect to get pussy. In Australia most of the guys are used to mass rejection, then they head overseas & have this major culture shock where far hotter girls are suddenly approaching them.

They don't care because most of the tourists in Thailand are banging prostitutes or shady chicks. Hookers are a small percent of the female population. A middle or upper class Thai guy has all his girls in check. Go to a Thai nightclub that is not packed with foreigners and it's hard to game a Thai chick. Many Thais probably don't even realize that their is a ton of prostitution cause they never see it in the places they live or visit.

That said, it's surprising the government does not crack down on all the shady characters visiting the country. I imagine it's a combination of the sex industry being connected to gangs, who bribe government officials, and the realization that if you crack down on sex tourism then tourism in Thailand will go down 50%.

I did a round the world trip (complete circumnavigation of the globe) 5 years ago which took me 2 years and 3 months and took in 53 countries.

Australia was my least favourite country in the world. Could not wait to leave.

I have never met so many angry and miserable people. It's expensive. Both women and men in bars and clubs are incredibly rude and aggressive (in sharp contrast to Aussie backpackers you meet around the world who are usually friendly).

Place has turned into a nanny state in regards to its attitude towards alcohol. I actually saw a sign in a bar that said that patrons would be ejected from the premises if they were "approaching intoxication". Erm you are "approaching intoxication" when you take your first sip of your very first beer.

My cousin (who lives there) got thrown out of a bar for doing nothing. They said that they threw him out just because "he had been there a while".

Apparently bars gets big fines now if anyone is drunk on the premises.

It didn't used to be like this either. I live in Oz for an entire year (6 months Sydney, 6 months Melbourne) back in the 1990s and I really enjoyed it. It was cheap, fun and people were not so miserable and aggressive.

Place has seriously hit the skids. I dont plan to go back.

Australia is definitely tough on alcohol and dudes (due to fighting, skewed male/female ratios at bars) but it's hardly the worst place in the world.


Koh Samui is cringe city central for any Australian who dislikes seeing the country's rep in ashes - rows of tacky soul-destroying pubs draped in the national flag colours (a flag that has been hijacked by Cronulla Riot "White Australia" ultra-nationalists since 2005).

Aussie pubs are not about laid-back good natured fun as we promote to international audiences through our tourism videos; rather they proclaim a safe haven for bogan thugs and drunkards, and warn hot women not to enter as the ratio will be at least 4 thirsty dudes (shirtless and cyling roids of course) per sloppy girl.

I don t see why attacking a country has to do with anything, every country has it s goods and bads, from a tourist point of view yeah australia would be expensive because people in australia make a good living. It's not the "whole" population and not even close to that. The middle and upper crust of thai girls can be pretty exclusive about who they date and bang. The vast majority of foreign men are banging the same Isaan or southern tip girls. A few foreign guys with any combination of game, money, and language skills penetrate the cream of the crop but it's still not that common.

I'm in Samui now.

I came here 3 days ago with a few girls in the pipeline via ThaiFriendly.

Side note: I've got a LOT of work to do on my night game and social circle game. Online game in Bangkok has made me lazy and dull.

Well, I was staying Phuket for the last month or so. The fighters on this board already know this, but there's a street in Phuket in the Chalong area called Soi Taied. It has 2 huge MMA gyms (and a 3rd one 15 minutes away by motorbike) and a bunch of Muay Thai camps. Basically, people come there to train and there aren't any women (none worth banging anyway).

I did bring a very sexy girl home from Thai Friendly the second day I arrived, but then I focused solely on training. I could've gone to Patong but I honestly was just way too lazy to deal with the logistics and the bars and all that shit.

The first week I was going crazy without sex. Then I settled into a training routine and realized how much time and resources I spend chasing tail. I must've double my jiu jitsu in 3 short weeks, fought in an inhouse competition, and made a handful of great friends. It's like the Seinfeld episode where George stops having sex and becomes a genius. There's some truth to that...

Spent 5 days in total in Koh Samui on this Thailand trip now and I have to agree with the OP's thoughts of 3 years ago. Nothing has changed. There are actually quite a few cute girls walking around during the day seem it's peak season but they're completely unattainable due to having boyfriends with them or being with family. What you have left is a nightlife made up of 75% guys and 25% ugly Thai girls/westerners, hookers, and a few 6 or 7 bangable girls sprinkled in there. Obviously these are the ones to target if you're stuck in Samui for whatever reason, but I just can't wait to get out of here and back up to Bangkok. The weather has also been terrible. Constant thunderstorms and no sun in sight.

I landed in Koh Samui on Sunday. Staying in Lamai so there is plenty of saggy old women on the beach that I would love to forget. The beach is nice and the main strip isn't very crowded so that's a plus. I'm enjoying my time here so far.

Who the hell goes to Koh Samui for pickup?
In general I found Thailand to be great for white chicks.. i generally don't like white chicks but man they were smokin out there with pleasant personalities to boot (at least in Bangkok). I have yet to pull a Thai girl, they don't seem to travel much outside their country ... In general Thailand is where many degenerates end up but i find it quite easy to ignore them.

Has anyone been to Ko Samui / Ko Pha Ngan / Ko Tao in May - July? How was the weather? I am currently in Krabi and it is rainy, strong winds, rough see - not a good place to chase chicks in bikinis. So, I am wondering it it is better on the Gulf of Thailand islands.

Phuket/Krabi has great weather from late November till late April (generally speaking). From May till November is risky, especially September and October which should be avoided at all costs.

Koh Samui is generally better weather than Phuket. In May/June you should expect the odd heavy downpour in the later afternoon or early evening which will last about 2 hours.
