Anyone who's a voice expert chime in on this, because I'm no expert.

I smoke a pack a day and drink like vodka is going out of style, which will deepen your voice, but it's always been masculine like since I was around 17yo.

If you think I'm gloating, you're missing the point.

I'm providing photo evidence to back up my posts/blog and life.

It's not to boast at all. I know humble beginnings, being broke and fucked in every aspect, but overcame it.

That's the message to other guys, that they can too if they bust ass, hustle and don't quit.

EDIT: As far as $500 that's news to me. I have friends with jets and one of them gives me lessons. I'm far from completing my license because I'm pursuing it casually, but let's keep it clear: that's not my jet and I'm not spending thousands to fly.

I actually didn't know it was that cheap to fly private jet. 500$? That seems absurdly low. I hate airline BS, so I might have to look into that.

Everyone has different physiology, but Christian is speaking from his chest voice.

This means that when he talks.. it's resonating in his chest.

Try this: Sing from hi-pitch and slide it down to a low pitch. You will feel the vibration move from your head/nasal cavity down in to your diaphragm in your chest.

If you want to get that alpha rich sound, you have to cultivate your chest voice.

Also, some people's heads color their timbre differently.

It's stereotype that black guys have very low sounding voices compared to a lot of white guys.. this is probably do to a difference in formants. Formants are cavities inside your head that resonate when you talk.

A guy like Barry White probably has larger formants than someone like Chris Tucker.







Even if you don't have super masculine formants, you can still work on your chest voice.. it's got a more athoratative sound than speaking from your nasal like Richard Simmons (who is probably doing that on purpose because his whole thing is to be the opposite of threatening).

I see a lot of posts noting that Christian is a good-looking guy, has his style and presentation together... "no homo".

Do we need "no homo"? Or should men, in gatherings of men, not even assume that things like that could have a homosexual connotation? Maybe on RVF we could sort of maintain "1912 rules," where homosexual things are so out there, so ludicrous, so assumed-to-not-be-the-case that there's no need for this little quip?

I hope so too. If I can get location and financially independent before that happens, I would like to follow in you and Christian's footsteps as well. Pictures and faces are worth countless words when conveying a message to others needing hope.

My only advice to Mcqueen and MikeCF though is to be careful about showing pics of girls you are currently dating. If you have dedicated haters, they may find them on social networking and harass them saying you have AIDS and shit and that will be a headache. It's better to show pics of girls you are done with.
