With no languages other than English, I would shoot for Finland or Iceland. Read Roosh's blog about his experiences there.

If money wasn't an issue, I would personally go to Iceland. Always wanted to go there to check out the fjords and geysers. Nightlife is supposed to be rad as well.

Besides that I would go party it up on one of the Greek islands. Again the natural beauty of the islands being the main draw card, the nightlife and loose wimmenz being the kicker.

Mexico, DR, Colombia would be top options, I am sure you can pipeline and smash a few things.
If you read through the threads you can see most guys are strong on Poland, DR, Ukraine, Colombia etc.
Barcelona always gets great reviews and there will be a lot of tourists you can game.
It sounds like you are rolling solo.

Planned on it. most my friends cant save enough money to go on a trip

I read bang Iceland but I am not sure how well I could budget there. That place is expensive

DR seems like your best bet, anywhere too far will chew up too much time travelling.

I agree with other posters about Iceland. Iceland is the most beautiful country I've ever been to, and Icelandic people party harder than anyone else. The nature is mind-blowing, and there's a high chance of getting laid on Friday and Saturday night. 1 week is actually sufficient time to experience the place, and it's only a 5 hour flight from NYC. Check out nature during the week, and return to Reykjavik on Friday and Saturday.

You say that you are willing to spend 1-2k outside of the airfare and yet you don't think that you could survive one week in Iceland on that?

If you want us to be able to advice you, you need to answer the previous questions about you. Those factors (when to travel, what is your style and is getting laid important) are important when choosing destination(s). If you don't let us know that, I agree that you shouldn't be asking here and just read the general advice that is already out here on the forum and decide based upon your circumstances and priorities.

Amsterdam is another option. It's not discussed much on these boards. But, it's a great little, fun city, lots of tourists and locals who speak fluent English.

Not trying to be tough on OP, this is just a better thread for decision making than travel. I have similar questions about where I want to travel and what I want to do, but I'm not going to post a blank 'where should I go?' thread. There's tons of threads on travel here.

1. Answer is what has been said...1 week (short Int'l, time zone issues) = Americas, prob DR
2. Or randomly choose 3 potential places...less options makes deciding easier and helps you figure out what you want
3. OP this is good for you...part of travelling is learning how to make decisions with an infinite # of options (something I have yet to do)

Iceland is a good choice but it is a friday/saturday spot for partying. If you plan on doing some nature tours during the week then there is nothing much to do. Daygaming is non existant there, the natives are pretty reserved. Many Iceland reports on here.
I would also concentrate on places that are a direct flight from DC.
Places like the Greek Islands/Cyprus are a trek to get too and you only have a week.
I say DR is your best bet and hook up with the Driver or some forum members that live there.

Honestly, I don't know.

I think they're very relevant - you'll get away with being short to a much greater degree in some countries (particularly those in East Asia).

I wouldn't be surprised if being overweight similarly holds you back to different degrees in various locations.
