I am going to have to agree with Horizonz here. Each city has well known party hostels. For example the youth hostel in Lagos in the Algarve is a well known party hotspot. The best hostels usually have a bar attached. They Flying Pig and Bulldog in Amsterdam, Generator in London etc. Sometimes it is the luck of the draw. You end up at a hostel and it's full of Australian guys. Just as you are checking out the next day, you see a group of Swedish blondes coming in.

Years ago when I travelled to Europe with a couple of buddies we stayed exclusively in hostels. My game was non existent, so I didn't get past a couple of drunken makeouts with the hostel girls. But, there were guys and gals in the hostel hooking up all over the place. They were doing it in the bunk bed in a room full of 6 people, in the bathrooms etc. One time I came back from a drunken night in Ios, a Greek Island, and one of the Australian guys was getting a blowjob in the main common area from this absolutely beautiful 18 year old girl from the UK. This was a place that was recommended in the Lonely Planet guide. Another guy had sex with 2 girls on the same day in the hostel pool(different hostel).

If you are just going to Europe to get laid, and are not particularly hung up on scoring with a local chick then hostels are a great option. A lot of hostels have pub crawls and all kinds of activities to get people together. You are basically forced to socialize. If you are a shy guy and have trouble opening conversations then a hostel is a good choice. Hotels can get very lonely.

As for how long it takes, I would say pretty much the same night you check in. Everybody is thrown together. Girls that travel alone to Europe from places like the US and Canada are going there to get laid. They can be as slutty as they like and nobody will ever know. They stay in hostels for the same reason we do, they know the deal. That hot blonde 8 in Canada who won't give you the time of day when you see her back home will be much more likely to let you bang her after a night out drinking in some European beach party spot.

I don't disagree with any of this. If you want easy lays and don't care if they're local and are lax on the quality, then yeah, hostels are great.

Horizonz, at 22, hostels sound like a perfect fit. I did them too at that age and loved them. But I'm going on 28 now and quite frankly, am over them. I banged plenty of girls from them, but I don't enjoy them nearly as much as I used to. Hence my "under 25" argument.

Not all hot 21 year olds are rich. In fact, most of them aren't. You think that the majority of hot 21 year olds from Poland, Czech Repub, Slovakia, Spain, Italy etc. are rich? No way. One of the basic prerequisites of getting laid is having access to the girl. If you are in the same hostel with her drinking and partying you have continued access to her. It really depends on how easily you can access the local girls. In some countries such as Spain and Italy, the girls in the clubs just don't give a damn about foreign guys from my experience. Staying at a hostel in that case is a good back up plan if you come to the conclusion that you're not going to pull any local girls.

Who says you have to go on organized pub crawls etc. ?

You get a much broader cross section of girls. The girls you meet at a hostel in Paris are going to be a lot different, and the variety is going to be a lot more than the ones you find at your local music festival. Besides travelling and epxloring different cultures is fun. It's not exclusively about getting laid.

Yes, in most Southern European countries, i.e Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal etc., chances of banging the local hotties are very slim. Most of the time you are going to end up with another tourist. Staying at a popular party hostel is a good way to increase your chances significantly.

Hostels are like traveling frat parties. Yeah, they can be fun, and yeah, there's the rare gem attending, but not my thing. I get far more pleasure out of staking out my own apartment and hooking up with the local talent. But that's just me. It requires time, money, experience, and often knowledge of another language. If you're blasting through a city in 3 days and are horny, by all means, do the hostel thing. But please, stop with the, "Hostels are the best way to travel and get laid," line. It's not true.

Again, it may not be true for YOU, but it may be true for somebody else. A couple of friends of mine travelled through Europe and got laid exclusively through hostel game. They had a good time, they got laid, they enjoyed their vacation. In their mind, that was the best vacation of their lives. It's what they know. It was the best way to travel and get laid for THEM.

95% of the guys out there don't have the money or game, you or Mixx or G have to travel around and get laid. So what are they supposed to do? Hostel game will work a lot better for them than what you stated. As you said yourself, it takes time, money and experience. Your way is one way. But, definitely not the only way.

Well that's c0mpletely different. If you lack the means for good hotels/apts of course you should adjust accordingly. Iy's definitely better than doinf nothing. But saying stuff like there's "10 hot 21-yos in hostels for everyone 1 in a hotel" is just unhelpful BS and borderline trolling.

Stayed in a hostel in Kiev last night for the first time ever. Had some nice convos, there was a hot russian girl to stare at. Eight people were piled into one room. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating because someone decided to turn off the air conditioner. If you are willing to give up comfort, hostel's have something to offer. For me, I'll be reluctant to try that again.

I'm 26 and I stay in hostels. I like to go away for 6 months at a time and the amount of money I'd need to do that if I was staying in hotels and apartments would be stupid. I've stayed in 5 star hotels many times in places all over the world but they are no fun for me. I enjoy hostels, there's a good vibe usually, everyones up for a laugh and being social, people have got stories to tell about their adventures. You've also got people from all over the world in them so it's not like you're just hanging out with people from back home, you've got a dozen different flags to try and capture.

Just because I stay in hostels doesn't mean I spend all my time with other travellers, go on package tours, use the Lonely Planet as a bible or get herded around like cattle. I mix my time up with the travellers who are free to do anything / go out at night any day of the week and the locals who are usually confined to being free at the weekend because they study or work. Never have I went somewhere and not spent tons of time with locals. I end up with a good social circle in most places I go and I'm welcomed back with open arms if I return.

Also this idea that it's fine to spend time with a French girl in France but you don't want to spend time with that same French person when you're in Peru is a bit of a contradiction. Makes no sense. Everyones a local somewhere and a foreigner somewhere else. I'm happy to meet good people wherever they are in the world.

There are hot girls in hostels, hot girls in hotels and hot local girls everywhere. You're definitely going to have more access to the girls in hostels as you'll be sharing a room with them but on the downside you've not really got much option for where you're going to fuck them and you also can't bring local girls back to most hostels so there are pro's and con's.

It's not different. It's part of the same argument. If you stay in a hotel, you are not going to see any hot girls around in the hotel itself. So, you are going to need more game to pull them back to your hotel. In the hostels, they are all around you. All you need to do is start drinking with them at the beginning of the night and stick them till you come back after a night out and make your way into their room. You don't need any excuse to go to their hotel or to bring them back to yours. You are just there. She is drunk, she is horny, she fucks you. I have seen this scenario repeated countless times.

If there are any hot girls in the hotel, you are not going to see them much, even if they are staying there. So, yes you will see a lot more 18-21 year old hotties hanging around in the hostel than you will at a regular hotel. They are not going to stay in $150 a night hotel rooms when they can spend $20 a night at the hostel. It is just not going to happen. Most of the time they are out drinking and partying. They dont want to spend money on expensive hotels.

Now granted you are not going to see many 9s or 10s in the hostel. There are the rare 18 year old gems who are a 9, but don't know it. But, mostly you will see 5s to 8s. If you are after 9s and 10s exclusively then by all means do the hotel game. But, if you are happy to settle for 7 or 8 on a regular basis then hostels are a good bet.

Btw, it's probably worth mentioning that my opinion is based exclusively on European hostels, where the quality of girls in general is good. Even the N American girls you will find at the European hostels are mostly decent. The fatties here will not strap on a backpack and travel around Europe.

How many people on this forum stay in the "finest hotels in the world"? I am talking about regular mid range hotels that most travellers on this forum would choose over hostels. Sure, you might see a few cuties around, but nothing substantial. You mostly see older business travellers at these hotels, or families with kids. The probability of you seeing a group of Swedish blonde 18-21 year olds is a lot higher at a hostel than your local Hotel Ibis.

I diasagree with this. I like hostels, I also like local girls. I manage to combine the two. Going to a festival at home is nothing like being in a hostel when travelling. If I go to a festival here I'll meet people from this country only, if I go to a hostel when I'm travelling I'll meet people from all over the world. I won't be banging anyone apart from people from my home country at a festival in this country.

In my first 2 weeks in Brazil I fucked 2 different Brazilian girls who were staying in the same hostels as me. First one was in a hostel in Buzios, the girl was from Brasilia and in Buzios for the holiday weekend. A week later I fucked a girl from SP who was in Rio for the weekend staying in my hostel. It's possible. I also had access to Swedish, French, Argentinian, Chilean, American, Dutch and many other girls. Staying in a hostel really isn't as bad as it's being made out to be.

For guys with weak approach game, hostels are great because of shared common areas where you're forced to meet "bangable" girls. But if your game is tight and you don't like smelly backpackers, a budget motel will make logistics ten times easier without putting a dent in your pocketbook.

I like hostels for general social interaction of people from around the world. But it's not so good to meet women who didn't pack their makeup kit and insist on wearing hiking pants and sandals 24/7.

I usually book my hostels at http://www.hostelworld.com and they have a great rating system. I usually try to book hostels with an 85% or above rating. If you want any recommendations I have a list of all the ones I really enjoyed. I am not quite sure where you were staying but most hostels have female only dorms in addition to mixed and they are always booked, so I tend to see a fair amount of girls. But I have stayed in some sausage fest hostels that just sucked. The best thing to do when booking a hostel is to MAKE SURE they have a bar in it. This is where I meet a ton of people and girls come there to mingle before going to clubs because drinks are so cheap. It is also important to remember these girls are in a foreign country and many (not all) are definitely outside of their comfort zone so meeting someone where they are also staying is much safer for them and yes I love to exploit this (they know it's safe with me and they are at least comfortable with the hostel).

I usually stay 3 nights per city and yes I do bang a lot of these girls, pretty much 1 per city. It really varies sometimes the first night we fuck. If I am sensing they don't want to fuck that night I invite them to tour the city with me the next day which just works perfectly. You are with this girl for like 8 hours doing the day and now she knows you and then you get wasted that night and usually I then can bang them. It's all about comfort with these girls and just remember a lot of them have been traveling for months and are also looking for sex. Feel free to ask anymore questions.

I will say that South American hostels and European hostels are a whole different world. I kissed more hostel girls in 2 weeks in Spain that I did my first six months in South America.

Besides some exceptions to the hostels in Buenos Aires or Rio, South American hostels are cock farms with pasty, ugly Western chicks. I'll be curious to hear from guys who have done well in South American hostels.

KEY point. In a hostel you have women that are ready and want to bang available and easily accessible to you. They are travelling, they are away from friends and family. If you are able to build a little bit of comfort quickly, you are in.
