RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
^ Man, the Canadian/Dominican girl I met made sure to let me know she made good money. She mentioned it quite a few times. It actually kind if turned me off just because she tried rubbing it in so much. That's not what I'm in the market for at all. I don't give a shit if the girl makes $100 or 10000 a month. I can make my own money.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
I went on a couple of dates with a girl who had a good job in an advertising agency. She made 70,000 pesos ($1,500) a month and said you can live "very well" on that in the DR.

We split the bill both times.

That is very rare though. Most girls won't move a muscle when the bill comes.

Like Pitt said, it doesn't mean she's a pro its just a culture where the men hold the financial resources.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
When we gave our buddy $125 for showing us around for 5 days, he almost cried. On top of that we paid for everything while he was with us. He was so grateful. I left one day after my friends did. The last day he came to meet up with me and my girl. I bought them both lunch, and during lunch he told me how happy he was. He was able to buy 1 months worth of diapers, food, etc. for his baby. He told me he had spent $500 pesos that day, going out to meet up with us and other things. I told him not to worry. He ended up getting me a ride to the airport, and then my girl a ride back to the bus station all for only the price to the airport. I gave his cabi friend $2000 pesos, and told him to give the $600 pesos change to our friend (who I obviously told to grab from the cabi). It actually felt good to help him out. I could tell he was a genuinely good dude, and I was happy I could feed his kid for a month. All it cost us was $25 each. Chump change, and it made the whole difference in his next month.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedbacks.

I Totally understand their situation and I dont mind paying for dinner/drinks, I consider it normal in regards to the difference of income.

What I want to avoid is chicks taking you to the most expensive places in the city, expecting you to give them money and to take them to 5 stars hotels.
I ve been in touch with a women from SD through badoo, had her number and after 2 days on whatsapp she asked me to send her 50 bucks, this is the kind of chicks I dont wanna date.

If the girl really likes me then I dont mind spending money with her but if the only reason she's with me is money then it's a problem.

As I said I like seducing so if I feel that a chick could go with any other random guy showing dollars it breaks my motivation.

Otherwise I usually approach the women I m attracted to without hesitation so it should be fine, I have to work on my spanish before getting there.
which period of the year would you recommend?
I am actually working like crazy here so I m even considering staying there for 2 or 3 months but if I choose this option it won't be before 6 or 8 months...
Thanks again for the precious feedbacks!

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
The girl that I spent the most time with when I was in the DR never once asked me for anything. Low 20's, no job but goes to school. She always took public transit which is very cheap to meet me, and she even brought me food a couple times. Besides covering her whenever we got breakfast/meals which weren't much, the only other thing I bought was a bottle of wine that we split on a sunday night before going to dance/walk the malecon. That was a fun night.

Other girls I had on pipeline asked me to help with their bills/get them a new phone because of x when I hadn't even met them.

Screen, screen. There's some cool girls out there that aren't out just for your $$.

If you pipeline 20-30 cute looking girls like I did, maybe half of them you will be able to screen effectively (not only for $$ hunting, confirm they are actually cute with more pictures or video, etc), and half of those will come through on a date without flaking.

One girl I met for a drink that was 21 also had her own car, was in school, and in a well paying part time position. Spoke 4 languages too. She had a great body, but I didn't vibe with her, too bad.

Screen, remember that there are cool girls there that don't just want your money, and speak spanish!

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
Just got back from a 4 day solo excursion, all in Santo Domingo. It was my first time in the country. Ali-B's and some of Fisto's thread were the inspiration. For me, it is simply poosy paradise. It's chock full of women who are very friendly once the ice is broken (shout out to pitt and kavakid for the easiest most effective opener of all time). From the workers at the airport, to the casino workers, to the women in the mall, at the grocery store, to women walking in the street, they're abundant enough to feed the multitudes. Will return to check out Santiago next trip.

This is intended for daygame and for intermediate to fluent Spanish speakers to be used on Dominican girls in the DR: to be said in English, "excuse me do you speak English?" Instant DHV and they always try to help in their limited English. After opener, ramble a bit, wait for personal question, number close or more.

If only we could find out a way to use this opener on American girls.... Perhaps by making a whole fake French persona, with French accent? "Excusa me, do you speak ze englitch?"

Hmmm I've never taken that approach. I'm gonna try it. I usually go with the "I'm not a dumb gringo" card and it seems to work well. I always try and set myself appart from the typical gringo that doesn't speak Spanish and dresses bad. I had multiple people tell me it seemed like I had been to the DR before even though it was my first trip. I want to try the English opener though and see how it works.

My hunch is that if you are white, then you would NOT need that English opener...

Yet, I would like to personally find out too, what works... b/c I would assume that if you are white, there may be some assumptions that you are either NOT from there or English speaking...

I have a friend who keeps asking me to travel with him to DR..... (I would be coming from LA, CA) and I am contemplating a possible trip this year. He is building a house near the beach in some rural area near punta cana, yet I believe that I would prefer to hang out in a city area.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
I think being the dumb Gringo can work in places where they don't meet Gringos often. If you speak Spanish you can choose to open more direct in spanish. "What is your name? Do you live around here? Are you a student?" or indirect: "Do you know where I can find ______ ."

to me this is all pretty straightforward Roosh elderly daygame openers. Except for the direct opener I mentioned.

Being white here is pretty neutral in non rural areas. Yes, you are a little exotic but there is a bit of a taboo among the lower classes as well. So girls are not going to jump at the chance to talk to you. You still have to open smoothly, especially if she is in a group. A simple "Hi" can work, but you should have a follow up ready.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
"Excuse me do you speak English," was suggested to me since I struggled with walking women just saying, "Hola." They would say, "Hola," in a barely audible tone and not slow their pace to chat. I was stubborn with using the English opener at first since I was getting marginal success with my own style of openers but Damn near every woman stopped to "help" me once I began to adopt it. I would use my own style of openers for women who were otherwise stationary: receptionists, cashiers, notified workers, security guards, etc.

That opener works ok for everyone, but especially for those who might be mistaken for being Dominican. Just like if I am in Russia (being a white guy) and say hi in Russian I might not get attention until I start speaking English.

RE: Pitt's Santo Domingo (DR) datasheet
I think due to the fact there are a lot of foreigners, it's important to set yourself aside from the dumbass tourist that wears flip flops, a tank top, and shorts that doesn't speak Spanish. People respect that. It also doesn't make you look like a sex tourist. I could see the opener working well though. I suppose if you do speak good Spanish and the girl asks why you opened her in English, you can just say you prefer to speak English. I'm going to try it a couple of times next time I'm in the DR and compare my results with approaching in Spanish.

I'm thinking of going back in October before I move to Miami. If I have enough money saved, I'm thinking $1200 should be good for a 5 day trip living comfortably. I'll probably stay in the same hotel as the first time in Santo Domingo. I figure a flight from Florida round trip shouldn't be more than $400. I already have a few girls who want to meet up that I've exchanged whatsapp with. Plus, I'll have the girl I banged the first time, so I'll have a ride from the airport and a car to use when I'm with her. That leaves me around $100 a day for 5 days after paying for flight and hotel. Definitely doable.

Yeah, I think Miamis the type of place you love to hate. When I moved to Miami at first I loved it. When I started to see how pretensions and flakey people were, I started to not like it, but once I found a good crew of friends and made some connections I started to like it. I think having a car now will make it way better too. And of course, those cheap flights alone to the DR are worth living there. Not to mention the wide array of Latinas. When I narrow it down, Miami is the best place in the US for me. I love the beach, warm weather, and hot babes. Miami has all three. Miamis also money for the industry I work in.

@kavakid I was assumed to be Dominican multiple times but as Brasileño after I spoke my shitty Spanish. Had no problem with that opener since they slowed down their warp speed Spanish to accommodate my snail paced espanol. Remember the one handing out those free beers at that grocery store? I ran out of time to make plans with her. What a sexy woman she was. I'm jealous you get to live there.

@ip Where did you stay in Santo Domingo? From what you've written on your sheet, it seems like we stayed in a very similar hotel.

Casa Conde. Super legit. Breakfast included. Super clean and impressive if you bring a girl back. Rooms are real small though. I also had many issues in my first room and had to move, but once I moved everything was fine. It's new so they're still working out kinks.

Ok I was at Hotel Discovery. Nice rooms, nice location, balcony, refrigerator, rooftop pool not jacuzzi like they said, chicks had to leave their IDs at the front counter, restaurant for $60/night, not bad.

Jaja no way man! She's cool, I'll definitely kick it with her again, but I'm not trying to get serious with a girl that lives far away. There are too many girls out there to pick just one.
