Is that the norm at the higher end clubs like X2 and Dragonfly? I better curb my alcohol habit. To those who have been around Central Jakarta recently, which club are you feeling most? Seems like the last few Dragonfly reveiws were good but back in older JKT threads it gets less love. Immigrant reopen yet?

Immigrant still closed, X2 closing for renovations soon. Dragonfly is the best as it has the most bule hunters. Blowfish is a nice place but i dont think the indo-chinese girls there are interested in bule so i wouldnt bother soloing there if X2 and dragonfly are options.

High end clubs drinks are $10 - 15 AUD.

Yesterday (sunday):
My hottie from the previous night left at 6, then met a new chick at 8 for dinner, great face but average body so i wasnt too keen, came back to mine but i was too lazy to caveman her. Then she asks if i have had sex recently im like yeah.. then she like ok im leaving then stood around for 30min waiting for me to force her back in bed i guess as she has been texting me a lot since. After she left i hit up Kemang again $7 drinks, English levels are horrid there and i was the only white guy out and struggled to get a girl to hook. Danced and made out with this tall girl for a while but she went home with her friends then met another girl but i think she just saw me as a walking ATM so i ditched her and went home alone at 5am.. kemang is good fun but not many Bule hunters around. Got busy from 1am till about 3am.

Go a regular coming over now then date with new girl at 3pm. Jakarta is great.

X2 closing in a week I think for Ramadam (sp?).

Reopens in a month, apparent the weekend before Ramadam is absolute killer everyone is out and about before alcohol restrictions and early club closures (2am a couple girls told me).

X2 will be closed for 2 months
Immigrant wont open till after ramadan
All the other big clubs will be closed or not worth visiting during ramadan (they generally hold alcohol free concerts/bands during this time for cash). I would skip Jakarta during ramadan if I were you. After this weekend things are going to get dull.

Bali is where young jakartans go during ramadan to party.

I arrive in Jakarta on July 30th, just after Ramadan ends. I expect people will be looking to party. I hope Immigrant is open. Looks like X2 wont be. Anyone been in Jakarta just after Ramadan?

Monday:
Regular came over at 11am, boom boom then had lunch, then met an 18 year old for 2nd lunch but i wasnt too keen as she looked very young, she left at 6 and i met another girl for dinner. She came back to my hotel, great ass, she left at 9 to get back home as its a 2 hour bus drive away.

Went to Kemang again, seems like its the same group of young sober kids there each day, went to Attics which is next door to Nu China, everyone was dancing in a line, looked good. I ended up dancing with this 18 year old hottie all night but she didnt come back with me. 0/3 in Kemang, its hard work here 80%+ males, i was only white guy again. A lot of the crowd has tattoos there too, not sure how to pull as everyone seems to know each other, the guys are friendly and always introducing me to the girls. Drinks were $5.5 at Attics, cheapest so far.

Your posts are useful but might be more read if they're on a Jakarta specific thread. Afarang, i guess thats an issue with a multi-country thread. Perhaps its better to have single city/location threads like your BKK one. Just a thought. The info here is good, but probably will end up being tougher to locate.
