This shall be an RVF version of /fa/'s waywt threads.

How this works: Post pics or a description of what you wore today along with a description of the context (if needed). If you post pictures of yourself, be sure to upload them as attachments, if not try to be as specific as possible and/or link pics of similar items so we can develop a clear picture of your fit in our heads. If a picture is too big upload it to imgur and resize it to "Large Thumbnail" so it doesn't blow up the page. Today I went to university. It was a cold, kinda wet and overcast day, what I wore was pretty typical for me in Aussie winters.

I wore a dark navy (almost black) peacoat, a blue gingham shirt, black jeans and honey tan brogue shoes. My hair style is a classic undercut: back and sides shaved to a 1 with the top styled straight back. I was clean shaven (stubble reduces my attractiveness for some reason).

Exact coat, worn with 2/3 buttons done up (never do the bottom button)

Jos A Banks French blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up

Light grey, textured (almost pinstriped) waistcoat

TieBar tan pocket square with blue blossoms. The blossoms are slightly less blue than my shirt and the tan of the square is slightly darker than my pants

Marled brown Banana Republic straight leg dress cotton slacks

Brown, skinny, J. Crew belt

Express dark blue argyle socks

Ecco burgundy/brown oxfords, kind of like these

Early career business professional in the aerospace industry in SoCal.

Shirt: Eton blue, red and white stripes on a blue background.

Pants: Express flat-front, mid-grey

Shoes: Gucci loafers, dark (not quite chocolate) brown

Socks: Cole Haan blue stripes on black.

Watch: Stuhrling Automatic

Bracelet: Tods red braided leather

Necklace: Tetossian colorblock shield (can't really see it though, I wear it for me.

All from Nordstrom Rack, I love a good value.

Something like this:




I rocked a grey suit, in this shade. Bought it at Nordstroms and got it tailored.

A white Brooks Brother's dress shirt. Spread collar, button cuffs. Looks sharp and is easy to deal with. BB dress shirts are a staple of my wardrobe.

Brown Allen Edmond's shoes. I rock the Park Avenue in Walnut Cloud. They look fantastic.



If you get your suit tailored right it lets you seamlessly transition between work --> happy hour --> nightlife so you don't have to waste time running home and getting changed 3 times a day.

Here's what I actually wore pretty much to a T, except the shirt was burgundy like the one with buttons in the second pic and I wore a leather band and gold face watch. Everything else the same.

This thread reminds me I totally dress like shit.

Ugly new balance sneaks, Black skinny Levi's, and a black Mexican Day of the Dead shirt. I was doing yardwork for some family members though, so I'm not exactly dressed up.

'Kush' colorway Nike SB 6.0s, white Fyasko boardshorts with banana bunch print, and a green camo tank top. Finished with a brown watch from Nordstrom, some $5 gold mirror sunglasses from Hot Topic, and a Death Star pendant hanging on my neck.

I'm on a longboard in South Beach checking out the Gumball 3000 cars.

I just got ID'd for cigs (I'm 28).

Going out tonight for a 2nd date. It's winter here and pretty cold tonight, but thankfully not wet. I wanted a way to stay warm but still show off my physique, because this girl hasn't had a chance to see it yet. I'm wearing a patterned cardigan, a grey crew neck pocket tee that shows off my rig, black jeans and grey suede desert boots.

I second the desert boots, I'm rocking a good pair now and I get compliments on them regularly. I think men should start wearing them more often.



They are manly and give off the expensive vibe even when they aren't.

Also if you don't live somewhere with extreme weather they can be worn all year round and with a wide variety of outfits.

Now, of course you'd want to roll/cuff your pants with boots as they usually look miles better that way.

Today I'm wearing Levis 501's in black. I don't think its the most fashionable cut, but I got them a little while ago and they're pretty good if you have bigger legs.
   
I'm also wearing this: (H&M maroon v neck).
   

These brogues (Hudson): They look good in the flesh, and are a little darker than in the picture.
