I was chatting up a bartender, 8/10, for an afternoon the other day. The conversation started pretty icy and she let me know she had a boyfriend. About 30 minutes later she told me her boyfriend and her were on the rocks and living in different cities. She started showing me pics of herself in bikinis and other girls to get my opinion. Finally, about an hour later she blurts out, "I'm single."

I haven't gotten the bang, but this isn't the first time this has happened. Girls who are good looking get hit on all the time ( I know genius observation right) and they just say they have a boyfriend, but if they are truly into their boyfriend they will ice the conversation. As long as she's still engaged its game on.

I think this is confusing for people new to the game. A big part of the game is being strong enough to steal another guy's woman. I'm not advocating stealing women, but getting what you want isn't always easy or clear cut, and you gotta understand the signals. "I have a boyfriend" has become no different than any other common shit test.



Also, I've been way more carefree lately and girls have been opening up and telling me the most outrageous things. As soon as I think I understand how depraved women are I keep getting proved wrong. For an example, a girl told me on our first hang out that one of her fantasies is to be gang banged. My face displayed my utter disappointment of her before I quickly regained composure, but come on! I can only imagine some of the stuff some of the older players have seen in their day.

It's not relevant if they say they have a boyfriend in the beginning of the conversation. But it's a sign that failure is looming if she insists on that point several times, or if that card is shown later in the conversation.

One of the reasons women say they have a boyfriend when they really don't can sometimes be that they want to seem more attractive. People who have a boyfriend or girlfriend are naturally seen as a little bit more attractive than if they didn't have one simply because, as stupid as it may sound, someone likes them back.

Where I live.....8s and above often do have boyfriends. I live in the deep south...I think there's more alpha males here as this area hasn't been feminized / hipsterized yet. When a woman says "I have a boyfriend", I am immediately not attracted to her anymore. Whether it be true or untrue, she only tells you this to repel you. Here's what worked for me, I used it to steal a girl right from under another dude's nose:

Subtly (or in some cases no so subtly) hint that he's broke. Use evolutionary psychology. You don't actually have to be richer than him. Just look and act richer. Women jump.

I'm also a big fan of disrupting conversations (in favor of other more interesting ones).

I think right off the bat the bartender angle makes her a bit of a different animal than a so-called 'normal' girl. I know girls will be girls but in terms of attention-whores / drama queens I'd say bartenders are right up there maybe behind waitresses and strippers. That industry is chock a block with women who get in the business for the money and also the access to guys who will constantly be giving them attention. I know there are probably plenty of nice girl hot bartenders but honestly with all the guys coming in there + the attention they get from every beta in the bar makes them different.

I really don't think the hot bartender with a heart of gold who ignores every guy's approach/is just looking for a good guy etc. (a la "She's the One" or Coyote Ugly etc.) really exists. That said, ok maybe they play the 'I have a boyfriend' angle a lot but I'd assume it's more of a standard lie for them than your average girl given how many men they have to fend off all day, every day.

Anyway, the boyfriend line is crap and I always pry more and say stuff like "oh is it serious are you getting married" etc. No need to let them off the hook easy let them do a little more work.
