Ban lifted on Medicare coverage for sex change surgery
Ban lifted on Medicare coverage for sex change surgery

The Obama administration on Friday ended a 33-year ban on Medicare coverage for gender reassignment surgery — a major victory for transgender rights and a decision that is likely to put pressure on more insurers to provide coverage for such services.

This will be one of the markers on the road to the demise of what was once America.

On a more positive note, break out the popcorn as we are going to see transmen push into female spaces and create a ruckus. E.g., women's sports are going to eventually be dominated by shemales (it won't take many of them - imagine a WNBA team with what is effectively a male; other teams will need their own male to compete). I look forward to the feminist firing circle.

I thought medicare was primarily for 65 and up unless they have certain medical issues. Is this for geezers that want a sex change?

This is good news if, like me, you're looking for new disses for your homies.

"Yo, now that the ban has been lifted, are you going to use your Medicare card to get that sex change you keep talking about?"

RE: Ban lifted on Medicare coverage for sex change surgery
I'm curious, do men that get their genitals lopped off and get fake breast implants actually think they are women?

Now I've done some reading on this topic and I've come to the conclusion that transgenders like gays probably were born that way. That their brains got a bad batch of prenatal hormones that made them "feel" as though they were born into the wrong sex. There is actual science behind this stuff. But I think people should just learn to live with it. This massive expense will be paid by taxpayers to butcher a human body and make it into an approximation of something it'll never be. Now if they want to do this mutilation on their own dime, more power to them, but taxpayers should not be on the hook for this.

Edit --

The one saving grace is that they are a tiny fraction of the population. I'm guessing less than a percent. So hopefully this won't be too financially burdensome. But given all this talk about "entitlement mentality" due to recent events, you have to be pretty damn entitled to feel that society should pay for your sex change. That's a lot worse than a man feeling entitled to get laid.

Does Medicaid also cover stipends for guys to take off from work so they can hit the streets to run some day game?

In all seriousness, if they are going to do this, they should at least legalize prostitution and provide guys who will have very low chances if getting laid due to mental or physical disabilities the right to hookers.

It the same shit with medical marijuana.

Correct.

The article addresses that:

Although Medicare coverage is only for people 65 and older, and the transgender population makes up only about 0.3 percent of the U.S. adult population, private insurance plans often take their cues from Medicare on what should be considered a medically necessary covered treatment. As a result, the ruling is likely to open up more options for transgender individuals.

Therein lies the problem.

I work my ass off to live a good life and now my exhorberant taxes will go for some dude to become a trannie and then cockblock me in an LA club.

If I'm still in the US in 5 years I'll be surprised.

I know I was born with the gene that makes me want to sit around and drink beer all day.

Is there coverage for that?

Medicare should cover only treatments that are medically necessary to ensure survival and basic health under the circumstances.

Selecting a different gender for oneself is never medically necessary.

Medicare dollars should not be spent to advance one view in the culture wars or to advance one side's gender politics.

Trannys are a different breed. You can argue environment morphs and tirggers homos with a deposition to be hard wired to certain traits. Trannys are basically delusional, half a mental ailment that manifests on a physical level.

Why? Many troll. A dude will go MtF but still keep his piece because he dosn't want to loose the feeling during sex......? Then they keep trolling and just fuck lesbos and deranged Femenists whom hate regular men. Some maybe do have a complete feeling like they are the other and go all out with operations and try to live their lives. People can do whatever they want, just don't expect me to pay for it.

Trannys for decades has to face the reality of then simply being mentally ill as they can't hold jobs and function in a normal setting. It's all a game to them and they see nothing wrong when winging a job application with the name "Shawana T. Dazzle", showing up to a interview for a secretary dressed in stripper heels, but showing Federal/State ID with the name "Peter Smith" with the assigned sex as "Male". For the perspective employer they think this person is trolling of off their fucking tree. They don't get the non and go home and cry that the world is a evil pale when if they would of acted either the lines that a normal workplace and society warrants, nobody would give a fuck. Employers have to worry about theft and other BS, if Peter wants to play dress up in woman's clothes but still does the job well most likely wouldn't care.

This wave of tranny propaganda is troubling. They offer no value and are being used as pawns for a larger goal. Androgyny is what they want with masculinity being sent out. Men out of desperation of not getting pussy will simply just get operations or sleep with these science projects.

For me what I worry about most is the explosion of women "experimenting" with sexual deviances. Trannys and bisexual men are littered with STIs and have high HIV rates. Strait women whom drink the Femenist kool-aid actively now "try it out" in sleeping with Trannys and bi-sexual men for kicks and risk, getting exposed to disease, which then gets passed on to is hetro-men. You will soon see an explosion of infection rates among hetro-men in due time because of this. It's a deeply troubling trend I forecast in the near future. Apologies if I sound alarmist in that last section but like always I am just keeping it real.

RE: Ban lifted on Medicare coverage for sex change surgery
Read this scholarly article on why the correct term is transgender, not transsexual, as it is a choice to decide for men to transition to being a woman.

Honestly, the intense political pressure put on the psychiatric and medical communities by the LGBT lobby has been intense since the 1970's and now with X-way progressivism/feminism fully on board, the pressure is intense for the community to accept personal claims of being the other sex.

We see this sort of manipulation of the medical community all the time. Take ADHD diagnoses in young boys. The medical establishment has to bow before social and political pressure to find something medically wrong with the boy, not the immense problems family breakdowns cause, much less the artificial, sterile atmosphere of the classroom.

I can't imagine what exact science would back up of the concept of transsexuality (especially since it would most likely destroy feminist gender theory). Is it an evolutionary adaptation? I'd like to hear that theory. Being intersex isn't the claim because the transgender appear, physically, to be male or female (they claim that we are all assigned a sex at birth). So, what's the science? Have fun asking that question in society, because society has already decided we are to accept transgender's claims of being biologically the opposite sex.

EDIT: The transgender on the cover of TIME, Laverne Cox, recently said this, too much cheering and applause:

Quote:When a transwoman is called a man, that is an act of violence

Quite the woman...

Is this for real? Unbelievable!
This should warrant a full scale outrage by the real men and all the other hard working people who are being taken for a ride to pay for these deranged and mentally sick people who want to feel as a woman but yet want others to pay for it! Heck, why don't these sickos go to BKK for example where a sex change is a mere 1600$? Cheap and fast and efficient!

I feel for you my fellow American brothers who have to be stuck and obligated to pay for these lunatics!

You guys know what this means? This is a sinking sheep that is beyond any hope of salvaging it! Thus, the only solution left is to build your capital, build a skill and expatriate to more saner and truly greener pastures.

In all seriousness, can people that old survive that kind of "treatment"/surgery? Seems like quite the liability for "healthcare providers" in this industry.

I see some benefit from this:

1. Fewer white knights
2. Ultra-feminists now have to deal with the issue. What do they consider trannys, women or men?

I don't understand how this is 'medically necessary' if its then I think fake tits, liposuction, botox and collagen treatments are also medically necessary and this country will go bankrupt but have the hottest bitches living in poverty that the world has ever seen.

RE: Ban lifted on Medicare coverage for sex change surgery
I work with a pre-op transexual. And a post-op transexual. In a small office...

I have a hard time getting my head around it. It feels like saying you are a dog born in a human body. Or a white guy born in a black body. Or - a man trapped inside a woman's body trapped inside a man's body trapped inside a horse's body trapped inside a woman's body.

At what point does this 'trapped inside the wrong body' logic become stupid?

The UK is way ahead of the US in this area. You have being able to get sex change operations on the NHS for decades now. And as of about 3 years ago - you can get your birth certificate and passport changed to say that you are no longer the sex you were born with.

This is an important point.

You can no longer use a birth certificate to show what sex you were born with - since you are now legally allowed to change this. I think we will see some people caught up in marriages in the future who will get duped and fucked over because of this.

I think being a transexual is a form of mental illness. But - that doesn't mean I oppose sex change operations. On average - people are happier after a sex change operation than they were before. And for me - that goes a long way to making up my mind on this issue.

If people are happier - then what is the big deal?

Still - I think it is wrong to be able to change your birth certificate. And I think transexuals are fools if they think they can ever become the opposite sex.

There are three sexes - men, women and transexuals.

Having a sex change means you may mean you are no longer a man - but it doesn't mean you are now a woman. It means you are now a transexual. Not sure how much better that is in the long run, really...

The problem is that you cannot debate these issues in a reasoned manner any more. This is definitely the next front in the culture wars. In the UK - we have a fight over euthanasia and the abolition of the monarchy coming up. But for now - the promotion of transgender rights is the fight that is uniting the left here in the UK.

And even now - it is getting to the stage where saying you have a problem fucking a woman who used to be a guy is considered a 'hate crime'. If I was caught saying this at work - I would lose my job.

And I suspect that the drip drip mantra of 'tolerance' is starting to brainwash beta dudes.

In the same way beta dudes can convince themselves that they don't mind that their wives are fat 'because she has a great personality and helps keep me in check' - I sense that some liberal guys are starting to embrace the idea that gender is a social construct which can be changed on a whim.

Anyway - I wish you all the best luck in the world. As a MGTOW myself - these are not issues I am ever going to have to worry about.

Actually I think the next step is probably racial re-assignment surgery.

This all leads to general identity re-assignment.
