I've written about Moscow in a negative light in the past, but Moscow is a whole different beast then other cities and the American factor does help a lot more in the second tier cities. Compared with DC, the competition in Russia is laughable, when you consider looks, physical shape, fashion, game, money, etc....

The ethnic thing plays more of a role the more dark skinned someone is - I wouldn't necessarily categorize Roosh as dark skinned.

Also, bear in mind that Roosh is going in May - this is prime mating season. Even in DC the girls are a TON friendlier then just a month ago! You have only May-mid September to day game. After that, good luck.

I've been living in a Russian province for 5 months now...and I concur - I almost never see any day game approaches. The youtube video was probably staged over a long period of time. Cold approaches on the street are mostly done by lower class guys - the kind women don't want! An average guy doesn't have to cold approach - there are plenty of available women they can meet through social circles.

Have you thought about doing a podcast where say once a week, you'd open the mic and share your thoughts about what it is like to live, to game, the people, men and women as well as sharing some funny and juicy stories and anecdotes? Specially now that you're in Russia, you'd have ton of highly fascinating things to say. Needless to say it would be wildly successful and open up new opportunities for you to get your message across more effectively.

You must have missed the umpteen dozen times when it was mentioned that majority of Russians(FSU in general) prefer their own men.Same in their immigrant communities as well.

It's funny. I've heard about this supposed 'local guy' advantage in every country I've been to and it just doesn't stack up with my experience.

Women, just like men, like exotic flesh. If given the choice between exotic flesh and money, then they may choose the later. But foreign+money=negligible competition from local guys.

^ they might like exotic foreigners as a romance. But when it comes to marriage and making a family they want something safe and someone they trust.
An unpredictable foreigner who's travelling around all time may not reach that standard.

Yes but I don't see it happening. I don't have time for it.

A problem I definitely see upcoming is reputation management. I'm in a sizable city but already running into the same people, and these people are bound to talk and discuss my activities. I already met one guy who said that there is a village mentality in that everyone will talk about my business. Combine the fact that my internet notoriety will be revealed at some point and I may encounter issues.

One thing I did right so far is not go all-out and spam approach, picking my targets carefully, so my rep is mostly "friendly American" at the moment, but I know this could change out of my favor. There so few Americans that I can see one girl saying "I met an American last night" and her friend replying, "Wait, does he have a beard?" Also considering that there are just a couple date spots, I don't think it will be easy to be a "player" in this town without having to be methodical about it. This is definitely a downside compared to larger cities.

What's interesting to me is that there are very distinct categories of Russian girls. For example on one hand you can have a professional player who can extract your wallet and your soul, leaving you crying in a fetal position, and then next to her is the sweetest girl in the world who who is insecure and clueless about the game. I found a very helpful screening tool to know if a girl is "good" or not:

Does she go to the club more than once a month?

If yes, she is in all likelihood a player/extractor. At the minimum she is knowledgeable about game and knows how to trick men. She is definitely looking for a big fish. I'm noticing the same girls go to the same clubs. In my city's size, that is a statistical anomaly, meaning a tiny percentage of girls are going to these clubs. Therefore if I recognize a girl in a club, I definitely don't want to talk to her, because she will have defects. In clubs you have to look for girls who look like they are having a miserable time, because they hate clubs and only went because their friend dragged them. If I see a girl who is a bit too comfortable in the club, schmoozing with everyone, especially bar staff, I avoid. Also avoid girls who say they "like" going to clubs. Clubs here are tanks full of piranhas, so if she likes it, she's probably a piranha.

This is another reason for day game, but a problem with Russia is that it's so cold for half the year, that during that time you sort of have to go to the club to meet girls. Therefore you should be smart about who you select. It seems like the skill in Russia is not so much "game", but screening out girls who will waste your time, because the sweet girls don't need much game, just time.

^^ It's a big problem in the smaller cities. When I was in Siberia, in the span of a few hours I ran into: the girl that cut my hair, my bartender from the night before, and a girl whose # I got all on the same damn block.

I also think you are on to something with the club girls, at least in the smaller cities. When I look back at my time there, the bangs I got were girls I met at clubs, but never ran into them again. The ones I did keep running into were the extractors.

In the club you best focus on the very young girls, as they are not yet as jaded, and more fun-loving and careless.

I have met the best girls on buses and hotel, but day game is no doubt more challenging than in Asia or Latam.

Well, Czech girls, even as young as 20, may have already been with 10 guys. It is not uncommon. But, there are also more gems. Definitely much better than Americans, but yea, a lot of these girls get around. They actually have good girl game though. Meaning, they don't think of feminine chores as "omg I'm a slave" 1960s, shriek!

That's interesting. But during my short time in Czech republic I found people in Prague, including girls to think of themselves as not really Slavic, like they tell me they see themselves more as part of the Austrian/German sphere.

Did you find them to be feminine the way other east europe females are? Do you think they are as sweet and nice? I did find girls in the eastern part (Moravia) to be more similar to how you would think of slavs.

If they are Moravian, or come from a small town in general, they are slavic. Very sweet. They treat you very well. I don't mess with girls from Prague. Stuck up.

Right now I'm seeing a Slovakian girl from some small town. Super sweet and feminine.

So after my initial high of arrival from the dregs of DC, some negatives are starting to appear:

-Girls who show the most interest are mediocre Western groupies. These girls are rarely above a 7, mostly hovering in the 5 and 6 range. They speak English well and are amusingly receptive, but I don't want.

-Sharp drop off in converting numbers to dates. A stereotype is that Russian girls don't give out their number much, but when they do, it means something. I'm not finding this to be the case at all. They give their number quite easily and then disappear when you go for the date. The rate is similar to what I have seen in Poland and Romania, so Russia has no advantage. Things are starting to turn into a grind like any other country I've been. One reason for this is that I've been meeting a lot of college girls. Related to this issue is...

-Strong initial interest that fades. Telling girls I'm from the USA gives them quite a buzz, but it's not enough to propel to the bang. Girls insta-date me and ask for my number, which hasn't happened to me elsewhere, but then things cool off and I'm unable to convert. I suspect they are talking themselves out of dating a foreigner who doesn't have strong roots here. The "rock star effect" is an emotional response, and then the Russian logic kicks in a day or two later. I'm not finding "sluts" that want to bang an American just to see how it is, but I'll keep looking.

-Hottest girls are piranhas and have ample choice. The best looking girls are not hurting, even though I'm in the boonies. I regularly see girls I would peg as a 7 or 8 in luxury automobiles.

My current research is to analyze how things are compared to Ukraine. There, I was not received half as well, and often labeled a Turkish sex tourist, but if the conversation did proceed and numbers were exchanged, the chance of a date was high. Here, I'm being received very well, but things simmer out unexplainably. This isn't technically bad, but hopes of this being an easy ride are quickly fading.

How has your strategy been during those instadates? Are you escalating quickly? Are you walking around with them? Are they in a place with alcohol? How are you faring in clubs?

My instadate game in Russia is quite weak. I actually try not to do more than a short walk because if they're too long they cannibalize my first date game, especially since I don't think the instadate will push things to the bedroom.

No, I haven't been pushing for alcohol first dates. Maybe I should but in Ukraine I found that alcohol isn't needed since these girls logically decide on sex. My Russia date game is still a huge work in progress, but right now I'm focusing on the approach and building an initial attraction that leads to dates.

Clubs I do okay, but the ROI is pretty low. I stay for 4+ hours and just walk away with a number or two and the next day I'm wiped. Day game is more fruitful.

The easiness of the Russian girls is directly related to oil prices.Only when oil price falls under 60$ per barrel will Russia become better than Poland or Ukraine.
