Wink Where to stay in Montreal
Im going to Montreal from Los Angeles for 3 weeks this summer with a friend. (June 15th to July 5th). I am 20 and looking to rent an apartment for the time I am there. I am open to any suggestions on where in the city to stay and/or where to find an apartment. 2 bedroom is preferable but I know that can get expensive. Any feedback is appreciated, also if anyone would like to meet up there that would be cool too.

I just got back from a month there. I stayed on Saint Laurent Boulevard. Worked out well for me, lots of clubs and bars there, although locals might sneer at it a little bit. I hooked up with a cool French Canadian guy off this forum who showed me some of the more local hangouts.

Depends on your budget but.

You will want to stay near the main streets of city so you can move from spot to spot with ease. So you will want to stay near University, Sherbrooke, St Laurent, Ottawa for quick access to nightlife locations.

Square Victoria, St-Paul, Notre-Dame (before Guy Street), Peel Street above Sherbrooke are all slick spots with good nightlife down below.

Check out the The Montreal Thread for some good info.

The middle of Montreal is very cheap for renting.

Stay near Saint Laurent. You can't go wrong.

If I want to fuck as many hot young girls as possible where are some specific places I should go? I have an apartment in the Plateau area bordering Mile end about a 5 minute walk from Saint Laurent.

If you want hot young fine pussy than you should definitely get close to Sherbrooke-McGill intersection. McGill university is a daygame paradise! Always a cute lil bunny reading somewhere or walking casually!!

I would think that there would a mostly older crowd there. Im 20 and yeah I probably wouldn't want to spend money there.

What are some good spots at night? Ive heard of the stuff all over the internet like Tokyo Bar and New Gas City(if thats how its spelled) but are there some low-key spots that I should hit up? Also read on the forum that Saint Laurent can be pretty dead during the week, would that be when its not summer? Im going June 19- July 5th
