I was in an ltr with a feminist. The kind who reads Bitch magazine, loves Ani diFranco and a supporter of womyn's rights. I was a young liberal then and we clicked. She loved to fuck and we did more than 1k times that first year. So even though she said she couldn't have kids due to a medical thing, it should come as no surprise that she got pregnant.
We split up after a decade and because she had no resources of her own because she wouldn't work(she was a stay at home mom who thought I should be paying her a wage for cleaning, laundry, cooking, child care etc) I let her take the car I bought her. I kept the insurance, maintenance costs because she couldn't afford to and besides, my child would need necessary travel to Dr and dentist appointments.
Eventually the repair costs became too much for me to handle and having tried unsuccessfully 3 times in as many years to outrtight give her the car for nothing, I sold it. I used the money to make repairs that I'd been putting off to my own truck and paid some bills. She bitched about not having a car and would ask me constantly if I was going to get her another car. Eventually she quit asking and started demanding. She would tell me [her friend] thinks I should buy her a car and [some guy] bought a car for his ex. She can't see that all her friends have a bias. They wouldn't tell her she was wrong. She only hangs out with people who think like she does.
I pay my child support every week, I have visitation 3 times a week and every other weekend and I still pay for her cell phone so I can contact my child.
In my view, a car is just a tool. I use it to perform daily mundane tasks. I dont see it as a necessity though, more like a luxury item. Plenty of people get by just fine with bicycles and public transportation. Am I right in thinking she's fucking dumb or am I wrong? I don't need to buy her a car do I?
I've gotten pleas from her son from a previous marriage and her mother just called today asking for a "donation" to this charity case. Fml

It will all be said by other users so all i can add is a note about the repair bills. Chicks do not take care of cars they own, and take even less care of others they borrow. Have you ever seen a girl freak out about a dude throwing a dry clean only sweater in the laundry? That is them with cars.

I wish I could say that this is a troll post but this is my life. If I had 2 kids, then had a vasectomy, and then met you, would you automatically assume those 2 kids weren't mine? Her medical shit came up after she had her first kids.

Get her a 93 Corolla. Easy to fix, good gas mileage, and should be dirt cheap. You can fix it yourself, should give you plenty excuse to see your kid more often.
