I think it's just a matter of preference. You can also see it in a positive light. Girls want to have sex with you and they are very honest about what they want. I don't know, it's just that I am seeing trends that I find troubling. Young guys are acting more and more like girls did. At the same time, girls are becoming more masculine and requiring greater and greater dominance just to get turned on. (As Icarus experienced) I have been very fortunate to have been with a very wide range of women and I have a very good instinct about women. A lot of women I am meeting these days are what I term DG = Damaged Goods. I don't feel good interacting with them. I don't feel good spending time with them. I don't feel good even having sex with them. Because experience has taught me that nothing good comes from being in the company of these messed up women - yet, men seem love them.

The way things are going is great for the top guys - the 5% percenters but it sucks for the average guy. The reality is, most guys will never achieve that top 5% of either game or looks. For the vast majority of guys out there, none of this is good for them.

Great post Nomad. Something that has been on my mind as well for a while.

It's not uncommon for woman now to initiate the ONS now, only to never hear back from them again.

Hell, I've been aching to tee up with a few attractive women following a ONS, only for them to go off the radar.

At times I think it was buyer's remorse. Or MY game/logistics.

It's been hinted at in this thread, but I'll come out and say it: the gender roles in Western countries are reversing. Men still earn more than women, but under 35 women earn more than men. More women go to university. Men are the ones wanting to settle down with kids, while women want to keep riding the carousel (until the wall hits) I predict that in 30-50 years time, the gender roles will be reversed entirely (with the exception of child-rearing) It will be good to be in the top 5% of guys, but the remaining 95% will experience something akin to 1950s America with gender roles reversed.

The only solution I can see? Become that 5% of guys: lift and workout so you're in the top 5% of physique. If you can't do that, become the top 5% of earners. And most importantly, if you can't do any of the above just don't give a fuck (figuratively, not literally) Just like women used to be slut-shamed, men will start to be man-whore (for want of a better word) shamed... it's already happening, but if you don't care what people think of you they can't hurt you.

I have a 16 yr old niece and I have taken her to meet a lot of her dates. I have also seen her friends interact with guys. For example, there is a mall here, The Falls, that if you go to it on a weekend it's a hangout for teenagers. Just look at the girls and guys. In 90% of the groups and couples it is the girl that's in charge and leading. In these teenagers the role reversal is almost at 80% complete already. I meet these guys and I silently weep inside. The solution for guys in the U.S. and similar countries is to either: leave like Roosh did or move to a big city with lots of foreign girls and make Americunts irrelevant. I have no doubt my standards are high probably absurdly so. A good friend of mine once told me that my idea of a six is like an eight to him. My definition of affection is the feeling you get when someone really cares about you. You can sense it in their touch and they way they look at you. The ultimate expression of this is what a mother gives to her baby. The average American girl I meet won't ask more than two questions if that much about me.
