So yesterday night. I was coming back from the gym(after a 3-hour+ workout series) and I saw 2 of my pals who begged me to buy something for them. I bought the stuff, paid for it with my ATM but the cashier didn't add 2 of the products that I bought even though she billed me. In fact it showed in the ATM billing printout. We checked everything in other to see whether we were wrong, but it appeared she had made a mistake. We tried to make her see her wrong, but she ended up giving us one of the products back. We explained things to one of the security men who went to talk to her. But she said we were lieing in Turkish(that was a what got me and my friends angry). I said what I had to say and ended up using the F-word on her while I walked out(I wanted to avoid getting really pissed). Now, I've been thinking, was that the right thing to do? There is no other place I'd ask this question rather than on this Forum.

Next time just take the item and go. You have a receipt that can prove you bought it.

Nothing ever comes from you losing your cool. If you think you're going to get what you need, getting frustrated and insulting isn't going to get you any closer.

Next time ask to speak to a manager. Try to bargain, sweet talk, weasel your way. If not don't give these people the time of day. You're better then that, you're not a child.

Could you have returned the stuff, that would piss her off royally.

Your spending your hard earned money, what's the sense in lowering yourself to her level by arguing.

I know you're not in the US, but chargebacks are my best friend.

Any time a merchant gives me crap, I don't even bother with a fight. One call to my credit card and the problem is gone.

Think you can do that with your card issuer?

Wtf were you doing for that 3 hours in the gym? Did you take a nap between sets?

When you walked out, did you get the missing products?

If not you lost out on that interaction, next time in a cool voice say I would like to return these items because I have changed my mind.

You should have just talked to the manager? I dont know how things work in Turkey though. . .

No...I don't think I was in the mood to fight.Besides, I can't even remember the last time I fought; but I always end up commanding respect from dudes with my eyes, and posture when I'm getting pissed.. I'm a kind of guy that tries to command respect... Next time, I think I know what to do.

Nice reply man, really I didn't think of that. I guess it was because I was so tired. Wanted to heard back to the dorm AQAP.

She didn't make a mistake, she stole you. You can't be mistaken when you have something on your receipt.

Next time, calm down, stay on the line and block it until she surrenders.

If your credit card has charge backs, throw the stuff and use that power.
