I don't like this! It completely takes the fun out of the game. Literally EVERY SINGLE person I've swiped right for today has been a "match". So there's no more anticipation or anything. I know that everyone person I'm swiping for will be match if I click yes... I've been though about 100 or so profiles today and it's just not fun anymore if I already know the answer!!!

Does anyone else dislike the fact that Tinder does this?

I prefer to use Tinder to have good conversations with people and I also want to play the game but the game is gone if I know the answer and I can't reply to everyone's "hey".

This kind of solipsism is enough to turn me into a misogynist.

Since my main picture already features a cute & cuddly animal, I think I'd be foolish to swap it out. I knew already that it was a panty-dropper, but not that its influence was so strong!

She sent me snapchat pictures later. Turns out she's not fat. Actually pretty cute.

I just hope somehow some way that even average girls on Tinder will start to realize guys all swipe right just to bone them, therefore on some level lower the collective self esteem of all women on Tinder by knocking them down a peg and showing how easily replaceable they are for boning purposes. Kick them off the pedestal.

Tinder may come out to be a good thing for guys. My good friend that has little game got a Tinder bang (no previous online dating experience) and now I can feel he has kicked girls off the pedestal a bit by seeing how easily he could bone another chick (albeit an average chick, but 5 to him is a 7 to us haha).

Unless you're so physically attractive that your match rate will be very high, it's really a hit and miss with such tiny samples. The only thing I've managed to squeeze out of Tinder in the last few weeks was cybersex with one girl.

I'll keep that in mind. I've seen about 10 foreign girls' profiles in Split so far, but it's far too small of a sample to know whether I've gotten no matches because I'm not attractive enough or because they are not using Tinder at all during their short stay here.

Why do you think it hasn't taken off in Croatia? Are people less aware of it? Or are smart phones less common? I guess there's less of a casual hook up culture than the anglosphere. I might pass through Croatia in July.

From what I know and see, smartphones are very common and internet coverage is adequate; it's just that this sort of app hasn't become popular like Facebook or Instagram. Can't really tell why. We have a local dating site Iskrica (literally: "Spark") with more than 20 000 female members, so it's more like sluggishness in hopping on foreign apps/sites. It can't be the language barrier as most people know at least some English, and young people speak it well. OkCupid is miserable too, with the number of profiles similar to Tinder.

While there's less of a hook up culture than in the west, don't mistake this place for Poland or Ukraine and think that it makes girl need any less game.

Ok I'm a little confused as to what do do, I've been getting matches with a lot of cute girls, but are you supposed to straight away cut to the chase and ask for number,meetup location etc?
I've been just testing the waters with a convo opener off the bat, but many just give like a couple word replies or no replies at all like wtf?

How do you approach someone at a bar? You ask her number immediatly - most of the time you don't.

Ask/say something to gather her attention, get some small comfort talk (few lines, not a whole chat), ask for her number for whatsapp/sms, continue there. After a few lines there mention you rather talk to people in real life instead of chatting over cell and propose a time/place/activity.

Normally once you opened them up and have them off tinder it's not that hard anymore, so that's your first goal.

A suprising amount of hotties on Tinder here. Less swamp monsters and roadblocks than I expected. This might be fun, even. It's a small town, but I haven't seen too many of my friends from the University yet. Odd.
