My issue is with setting out to discuss the economics of sex and then getting it wrong. It's not that they failed to be "red pill" enough for my liking, it's that they failed to properly apply the economic principles.

The whole spiel about the "split market" is completely backwards. The sexual market and the relationship market are separate and will always be separate. Monogamy is much better understood as restricting transactions between the two markets than as a unified market.
