On the gayness of 'hehe' in texts
Chatting with a girl on PoF.

I think she's trying to be sexy / seductive by saying 'hehe' in her messages. Her inability to spell is hampering her efforts, however.

Does anyone else absolutely hate getting this in texts?

But you're annoyed by playfulness/attempts to be cute on their part? The fuck? What's the preferable alternative, her being cold? I'll take a girl saying "hehe" over some dolt feigning disinterest any day of the week.

Why are you chatting on POF? Why aren't you calling her?

Might solve some of your issue. If she's just as annoying over the phone, probably not worth a meet up and you've saved yourself a lot of back and forth.

+1. Hehes and lolz are signs she is mirthful and emotionally engaged. Believe you me, when that shit disappears from the discussion it's a guarantee the tingle has gone cold.
