Besides gaming what do you do in your free time?

Currently I:

• Go to the gym
• Run 2-3x a week
• Socialise with mates
• Keep my apartment clean
• Cook
  

I'm saving my money at the moment so have had to cut a few things out (snowboarding, sold my trials bike). This means I have 2-3 hours after work with not a lot to do except browse the forums and waste my time fucking about before going out.

Hopefully this thread can be a good place for everyone to bounce some ideas around.

Sunday night: lift
Monday night: teach myself electronics with an arduino kit
Tuesday night: lift
Wednesday night: practice Indonesian language
Thursday night: lift

I'm a pretty decent cook, so ogood nutrition most nights.

I keep friday and saturday free, usually local music, being 1 of 12 people in the crowd... or something involved with wine.

Looking to become an associate in my career soon, I'll see what it does to my free time.

Besides game...

Personally put health first ie: juicing vegetables and the gym, dance class once a week

After that I sit down read as much as I can on topics that are going to help me increase my income. If I can't earn from it, I throw it in the trash can.

When my brain dies I practice Spanish and portuguese, staring to see real improvement here.

my free time is used hiking.

I don't really consider the gym 'free time' its something I have to do like brushing my teeth. Otherwise, like west coast I'm reading something about progress, business or income producing. There is a blurred boundary between being an entrepreneur and having 'free time' for me, its like I have 24 hours of 'free time' each day and i choose to spend alot of it on my own business.

I agree that it's not 'free time' because as you say, it should be incorporated in everyone's routine. However I think it's beneficial to include things of that nature as someone might realise they aren't doing something important / beneficial when they should be.

My schedule is usually like this if I'm free(not in this order):
1. Read(anything from manga to political theory to posts on RvF/RoK) Huge part of my daily life.
2. Think. I usually isolate my own thoughts and just think for hours on end from when I'm in the gym, out in a coffee shop, or lying on my bed.
3. The Gym(since I'm a student I don't have a lot of free time so I go when I have 3-4 hours free on any specific day).
4. Video Games(probably the one I'm most ashamed of since jumping on the Red Pill. On rainy days or days where I'm just plain tired I play on one of the various emulators on my laptop, my PS3, or League of Legends).
5. Game. If there is a woman I find attractive, I will approach her ASAP.

Reading, read about things I didn't know is fun
Cardio excercise, workout
Video game, mostly older RPG and good challenging action games I find it keep my cognitive function, number crunching skill and reflex in check

I spend my free time:
-Sitting at my parents' basement, staring at the wall
-Drinking on my own, getting so drunk that I have to crawl to bed
-I don't read much except for useless forums. Sometimes I also post useless comments.
-Thinking about the same shit, pretty much repeating the same thoughts in my head over and over
-Beating off to pornographic JPEGs, also beating off to memories of my (very rare) encounters with women when I'm too lazy to find pornographic JPEGs. I don't beat off to video porn, because that's only for Alpha Males, which I am not, as you might have guessed by now
-Trolling bitches on dating sites knowing that they don't want to meet anyway
-Fantasizing about the lifestyle I'll never have
-Talking to the same bunch of losers on Skype from time to time, but even they don't want to talk to me anymore

Westcoast -- Can you throw out some topics you read on which help you out with your income? Or in general any books that you recommend? I know you are in finance, and I'm in a related industry so I am sure that some of the stuff you recommend would have benefit for me and others as well Im sure.

I'm having a hard time with this as a.) it's winter and b.) I don't have a lot of non-athletic hobbies and I got an ankle injury so I have no fucking idea what to do with my time. Even when I wasn't injured, your body needs some time to recover and I can't figure out what to do during this time when I'm not lifting/training. The only things I can think of are drinking/beating off (women situation isn't to great right now and I live in a tough area for that as is).

I try to write.
Read.
Play and learn how to play the Piano (from YouTube)
Gym 4 or 5x's a week.
Do homework.
Listen to my favorite songs while driving around in my car, windows down and full blast.

Workout, play golf or hit the driving range, read and get work done at Starbucks, just got a vitamix blender and into juicing / blending vegetables and fruits, trying to get better at cooking. Try to hit happy hours a few days per week. Used to fly aerobatics in a super decathlon but haven't recently (stunt plane).. not the safest hobby but so much fun.

I honestly have more interests, passions, and hobbies than I have time in the day for. In no particular order of importance:

-Reading blogs, informational/how-to literature, comic books, forums, poetry, and short stories
-Watching movies (mostly into powerful dramas but also a huge sci-fi and horror fan)
-Listening to music (I'm into a lot of genres these days but still mainly a metal/hardcore dude)
-Hiking/climbing
-Woodworking
-Tinkering/fixing + working on cars
-Building, tweaking, customizing/modding and generally fucking around with computers
-Writing (music, free-form poetry, general thoughts and ideas, blogs)
-Drawing
-Playing music (I'm in 2 bands. Sing in one and play guitar in the other. Gig locally and have done 3 US tours and recorded two full length albums)
-Recording (I have a home studio where I record my band(s) and solo stuff)
-Cooking
-Working out (calisthenics)
-General projects (currently got my hands on a 23' 1976 Sea Ray that I'm restoring looking to have it in the water by next Memorial day)

If you want to talk passions and hobbies I could go on forever. I love doing shit. All this shit I do with my life and it's a wonder I have time to worry about women. Still manage to find time to catch feelings for dumb broads somehow.
