RE: [The Netherlands, Datasheet]
So I am actually here now, been since Thursday. I know a few locals here that I used to work with from the States and its been nice of them to show me around especially the nightlife, as they have a really good grasp on the local areas and where to go to try to find easy tourist (Three Sisters in Rembrant Square, and some surrounding bars around there).

I am still a rookie at all this, but the line we've been using this past weekend has been. "Hey my buddy thinks you guys are from (insert country)..." then depending how they answer, respond accordingly and carry on convo. We actually had really good success with this, and just got too greedy cause better looking girls would keep coming in, so we would decline to move to the next venue with the current ones we had talked too. Ill try to get the other names of the bars we went too, but for the most part I felt the local dutch clubs/bars/lounges were extremely hard because as DomWasHere said the girls had this head held high attitude. Although I did not approach any, that was the vibe I got so I didn't bother. Not to mention if you are under 5'10 I feel you are at a huge disadvantage as these girls are usually very tall in terms of female height, so for that reason and as well as not being able to speak Dutch, we avoided those type of places.

RE: [The Netherlands, Datasheet]
Good report . I thought I'd just quickly add my personal experiences of holland ..

In short , I stayed in Rotterdam for a month or two with work 5-7years ago and I can say that personally I found the city to be great . It has a moderne vibe and on hotter days can be very pleasant indeed . What always struck me was the caliber of woman just going about their daily business , being from the uk I'm used to all sorts but the general standard was high .
There is a central pedestrian area of the town full of bars and a few clubs that get very boozy at weekends and this carries on well into the early hours .
I used to visit Amsterdam from Rotterdam for a change now and then but the higher prices and dueschy tourist vibe put me off in the end. I recommend Rotterdam for a long weekend . Good shops , nice city and lots of choice for bars and girls . With noting that I think there is a strong student presence aswell so time your visit accordingly to make the most of it while they are around !
Tip; don't act like the drunken tourist , I Remeber several girls saying it's very obvious when Brits ( especially ) go there and act like retards. By all means get VERY drunk but be cool with it .

What does work well with Dutch women? Been there twice..struck out frequently, though I admit at times I was drunk or stoned when approaching.

Would it be worth it to visit Utrecht with it's large student population? I was there 1 day to visit that Castle but I didn't hit any clubs/bars. But the talent level on the train ride through Utrecht was noticeably worse than Amsterdam.

Arrogant/douchebag game will rarely work in the netherlands. Best experiences I have is with nice-guy-game and a joke/tease in between. You can tease pretty sharp so you don't end up in the friendzone. You gotta be on the money in Amsterdam, less so in Utrecht.

I live in Utrecht so I could say a thing or two. Clubs and bars are there, however not nearly as much as in Amsterdam. I could list a few if you guys would like that. When you get to know Utrecht well, it becomes a village really. There's always a good party around though. Large student population, also international. Talent is there, just have to look for it.

The Arrogant/asshole game is good to use on ethnically non-dutch girls.

You nailed it! exactly right

we should indeed include non-native dutch girls in this review as the netherlands is pretty multicultural....especially the cities.

The verdict is: good for western europe. Amazing compared to America.
Tall, blonde, leggy. The hours of bicycles riding are really shapping their lower body. Saw some epic butts.
Note that it is still a western country, so you will see fatties and girls with attitude, but in my experience it was much easier finding actually quality girls. For example 2-3 wanted to cook for me, and I needed absolutely 0 text game to see them again. I even got lucky the same day i landed here.

Everybody is so tall, even girls, that you have to work on your posture. I am also tall myself so it wasnt a big change but still I had adapt how I hold up my shoulders.
Being a foreigner seems to work wonder.
Den Hague is shit.
Amsterdam is good for tourist stuff but terrible for girls.
The secret: Utrecht.
It's like a mini Amsterdam with beautiful small streets and canals, and there are students everywhere.

Who is going to Winkel van Sinkel tonight? Special party Wink

Guys i live in Amsterdam and regarding to Utrecht my logistics arent bad at all either. Am in Costa Rica at the moment but back in feb, lets go party fellow rvf-ers!

I dont think Adam is terrible for girls, definitely not. I know a lot of bars, clubs and the electronic music scene. I also know a lot about faculty parties and frat/sorority parties, as well as festivals all over Amsterdam and The Netherlands. Dont know about the scene where somewhat older people hang out.

Although my last notch was a girl I picked up in De Poema in Utrecht ,was a good lay

Well you described exactly my point. Electronic music scene = not so good for pickup. Dutchies really do enjoy their music. Funny to see guys and girls dancing exactly the same way. The frat parties are also another thing. If you are an exotic foreigner, its less of a problem, but my dutch friend basically get rejected straight away if 1.hes not in a popular frat 2.hes not a older member. It seems to be worse than america.

This kind of "know somebody" and "wait in line-up for 30 minutes" in Amsterdam is why I say to guys who wants to have casual fun to go Utrecht.

Plus I am more attracted to tall skinny blondes, and Amsterdam is so fucking ethnic, I think just walking around you see more arabs and moroccans than dutch girls.

Hey friend. I was just looking through the topics about Utrecht and my eyes caught your post saying you live in Utrecht.

Do you study there and if so how is uni life there? How are people in general etc? I would be very pleased if you could just elaborate a little since Utrecht Uni might be the place I will spend a couple of months abroad. Thanks!

utrecht is a great city to study in. the uni life is extensive, also University of Utrecht is one of the best universities in the country. you will also find many international students, where the ratio's seem to be in our favor (more girls than guys). many greeks and eastern europeans. thursday night is student night, so clubs and bars around town will organize student parties. quality is ok. amsterdam is 20mins away by train.

there are many bars, but there are only a handfull of clubs. it's also a small city. streets will be dead on a tuesday 3am. it doesn't have the metropolitan vibe that amsterdam has. girls will be easier though.

i must say though, i'm out of the college game since 4 years ago when i graduated.

edit: not to forget the various outdoor parties that draw a lot of people in park transwijk.

there was much talk, but clashes were extremely rare. situation is now stable. focus has shifted to bulgarian and romanian immigrants stealing all our shit and receiving government benefits while not having paid a dime in taxes. and the polish taking our jobs. like the islam thing....in five years it'll be something else. populist thinking.

The opposite has been described throughout the thread. arrogant game will not work in the netherlands (EXCEPT: on non-natives... morrocan, turkish, eastern european). with dutch girls nice guy game is where it's at. then slowly go in for the kill.

Although uni of utrecht ranks high in europe, leiden is even better. However, i have zero experience with that town. Perhaps someone else can chime in.

Any one been to Groningen a lot? I was there once for the day, so I don't really have much to say about the place...

Any particular spots to check out? And any specific places near bars/clubs to crash at on the cheap, hostels or whatever?

re. Amsterdam I can reccomend the bars round Rembrantplein to get away from tourists and meet local girls. The one I visited last time was on the corner of the square and was playing dutch music etc, I was the only tourist there. Lots of girls there in groups actively looking to meet guys. If you're a tourist though you'd better have a good cover story as they are suspicious of your motives for being in 'Dam (sex tourist).

I love Amsterdam and visit every 2 or 3 months but imo its the worst capital city in Europe for nightlife and generally speaking I find dutch people pretty boring (sorry dutch guys not everyone obviously). Just my 2E

utrecht is a great city to study in. the uni life is extensive, also University of Utrecht is one of the best universities in the country. you will also find many international students, where the ratio's seem to be in our favor (more girls than guys). many greeks and eastern europeans. thursday night is student night, so clubs and bars around town will organize student parties. quality is ok. amsterdam is 20mins away by train.

there are many bars, but there are only a handfull of clubs. it's also a small city. streets will be dead on a tuesday 3am. it doesn't have the metropolitan vibe that amsterdam has. girls will be easier though.

i must say though, i'm out of the college game since 4 years ago when i graduated.

edit: not to forget the various outdoor parties that draw a lot of people in park transwijk.

Cool man, thanks for the info. Good to know that there area always other girls from abroad if it turns out I totaly suck with Dutch girls hehe. How are they like anyways, the Dutch girls? Is it as descirbed throughout the thread that being cocky and an asshole will get you laid?

Also how is the situation in Leiden University? I heard it was also a high ranked Uni, not only in Netherlands, but also in the rest of Europe. Could you elaborate a little on the environment and level?

The opposite has been described throughout the thread. arrogant game will not work in the netherlands (EXCEPT: on non-natives... morrocan, turkish, eastern european). with dutch girls nice guy game is where it's at. then slowly go in for the kill.

Although uni of utrecht ranks high in europe, leiden is even better. However, i have zero experience with that town. Perhaps someone else can chime in.

Ah ok, thanks for clarifying.

So are there often non-natives down town? I mean, moroccan and turks are Muslim...

Yes they are. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, diversity is interesting. Them being muslim should be seen as a challange, not a disadvantage. But daygame is the only way to go here, because they are almost absent in nightlife.

Don't forget supermarkets if you wanna game muslim girls. They usually work behind the cash register.
